How do I renew my driver's license?

Asked a year ago
You can renew your driver's license online, by mail, or in person at any New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) agency. Be sure to have your current driver's license, Social Security number, proof of address, and payment ready. Online renewal is available if you meet certain eligibility requirements and can pay with a credit or debit card. Mail-in renewal requires you to complete and return the renewal form with appropriate documents and payment. In-person renewal may require you to pass a vision test and have a new photo taken. Check the MVC website for specific instructions and requirements for each method of renewal.
