Application Methods and Schedule

b. If you already have a claim, the system will ask you for your password. If your social is not recognized you can choose either frequently requested information or apply for benefits. Follow the prompts to fill out your claim.
c. You should be transferred to a customer service agent to complete your claim.
2. To file online, go to uimn.org and click on Applicants and then click on Apply for Benefits. Keep in mind that there might be an online schedule showing when you can apply for benefits and your weekly payment. The online system is available from Sundays through Fridays from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
a. If you've filed before, you'll need to enter your social security number without dashes and your password. If you're new, you'll need to enter your social security number without dashes.
