Are pets allowed to visit residents?

Asked a year ago
Yes, Life Care Center of Acton understands and values the therapeutic benefits that pets can provide. Therefore, we welcome and encourage pets to visit our residents. We believe that the companionship and love shared with pets can greatly enhance the well-being of our residents. However, for the safety and welfare of all, we do have specific guidelines in place for pet visits. Pets must be well-behaved, up-to-date with vaccinations, and on a leash or kept in a carrier while inside the facility. Additionally, pet visits should be supervised, and pet owners must clean up after their pets. We prioritize the comfort and happiness of our residents and strive to accommodate their personal preferences, including the presence of beloved pets.
