What is the eligibility criteria for membership?

To be eligible for membership at Kennedy Space Center Federal Credit Union, individuals must meet certain criteria. Membership is open to employees and retirees of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), employees of certain NASA contractors, employees of the credit union, as well as members of their families. Additionally, individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Brevard, Volusia, Indian River, or Osceola counties in Florida are eligible for membership. Other select employee groups within these counties may also be eligible. To join, applicants are required to open a primary share savings account with a minimum deposit of $5, which represents their ownership in the credit union. With this membership, individuals gain access to a wide range of financial products and services offered by Kennedy Space Center Federal Credit Union.
