What is the difference between comprehensive and third-party insurance?
Comprehensive insurance and third-party insurance differ in their coverage and the level of protection they provide. Comprehensive insurance offers extensive coverage for your vehicle against a wide array of risks, including accidents, theft, vandalism, natural disasters, and even personal injury. It not only covers damages caused to your own vehicle but also provides coverage for damages to another person's vehicle or property in case you are found at fault. On the other hand, third-party insurance is the minimum legal requirement and offers limited coverage. It only covers damages caused by your vehicle to other people's vehicles or property. It doesn't provide coverage for your own vehicle or any injuries sustained by you. While comprehensive insurance offers substantial protection, third-party insurance is cheaper and provides basic liability coverage.
