What are the pre-operative and post-operative instructions for patients?

Asked a year ago
At Hunter Vision, we prioritize the well-being of our patients. Pre-operative instructions include avoiding contact lenses for a specified period before the surgery, ensuring a proper cleansing routine for the eyes, and abstaining from makeup, perfume, and jewelry on the surgery day. Patients are also advised to arrange transportation for their surgery day and have a responsible adult escort after the procedure. Post-operative instructions emphasize resting the eyes, avoiding strenuous activities and swimming for a specified time. Eye drops are to be used as directed, and follow-up visits should be attended as scheduled. Computer use and reading may be limited initially and gradually increased. Patients are encouraged to report any concerns promptly to our experienced team. Our detailed instructions aim to ensure a smooth and successful recovery.
