How do I apply for a learner's permit?

Asked a year ago
To apply for a learner's permit in Hawaii, you must be at least 15 and a half years old and pass a written knowledge test. You will need to bring identification, proof of residency, and parental consent if you are under 18. The initial fee for a learner's permit must also be paid. Once you have met these requirements, you can schedule an appointment to take the knowledge test at a local driver licensing center. If you pass the test, you will receive your learner's permit and can begin practicing driving under the supervision of a licensed driver.
