How often should I clean my Glock handgun?

Asked a year ago
We recommend cleaning your Glock handgun after every shooting session or at least every 300-500 rounds. Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial to ensure reliable performance and longevity of your firearm. Even if you haven't fired it, occasional cleaning is still necessary to maintain proper function and prevent corrosion. Pay particular attention to the bore, slide, barrel, and all moving parts. Use a non-abrasive cleaning solvent and lubricate the firearm sparingly with a designated gun oil or grease. Ensure all excess oil is wiped off to prevent attracting dirt and debris. Remember, proper care will extend the life of your Glock and keep it operating smoothly for years to come.
