Does General Mills have any sustainability initiatives?

Asked a year ago
Yes, General Mills is committed to sustainability initiatives. We understand the importance of reducing our environmental impact and have set ambitious goals to address important issues. Firstly, we strive to source 100% of our top ten ingredients sustainably by 2020. This includes ingredients such as wheat, oats, cocoa, and dairy. Additionally, we are working towards reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and water usage. We have made significant progress in these areas, with a 31% reduction in GHG emissions and a 27% reduction in water usage since 2005. General Mills is also actively involved in responsible sourcing, promoting biodiversity, and supporting smallholder farmers through our partnership with various organizations. We believe in creating a more sustainable future and continue to prioritize these initiatives.
