Asked 6 months ago
Anyone who lives in San Diego County and has legal custody of a child, or someone who has applied for public assistance, such as CalWORKs or Medi-Cal, is eligible to receive child support services from the County of San Diego Department of Child Support Services. Additionally, parents who do not receive public assistance can also apply for child support services on their own. Services provided include establishing paternity, locating absent parents, establishing child support orders, collecting and disbursements of support payments, and modifying support orders when necessary. The department is dedicated to assisting custodial parents in securing financial support for their children and ensuring the well-being of families in San Diego County.
