Are gratuities included in the cruise fare?

Gratuities on a Celebrity cruise are not included in the base fare. As of January 2020, a suggested gratuity amount is automatically added to each guest's onboard account on a daily basis. The amount varies depending on the stateroom category, with the current suggested rates being $15.50 per person per day for standard staterooms and $16.00 per person per day for Concierge Class and AquaClass staterooms. Suite guests are suggested to pay $19.00 per person per day. However, guests have the option to adjust or remove these daily gratuities by visiting Guest Relations. Specialty restaurant and bar service gratuities are discretionary and not included automatically.
