To recover your password on your BlackBerry, follow these instructions:
Go to the BlackBerry home screen. If you have a BlackBerry 10 OS, swipe down and tap Settings > BlackBerry ID. If you have a BlackBerry 7 OS, select Options > Device > BlackBerry ID. If you have a BlackBerry 6 OS, select Options > Third Party Applications > BlackBerry ID.
Next, select Forgot Password. Enter your BlackBerry ID. Select OK. Answer the password reset question. Select OK. A verification email will be sent to you. Go to your email account and open the email BlackBerry sent you. Click on the Change Your BlackBerry ID Password link. A password reset page will load. Answer the password recovery question. Enter a new password. Confirm the password, and then click Submit.
To recover your password on a laptop or desktop, follow these instructions:
Go to the BlackBerry home page. Click the Reset Your Password link under the Already Have a BlackBerry ID? header. Enter your username. A recovery email will be sent to you. Go to your email account. Open the email BlackBerry sent you. Click on the Change Your BlackBerry ID Password link. A password reset page will load. Answer the password recovery question. Enter a new password and confirm it. Click Submit.
