Is photography allowed inside the gallery?

Asked a year ago
Yes, photography is allowed inside the Art Gallery of Ontario. However, there are some guidelines that must be followed. Non-flash photography is permitted in most areas of the gallery, except in certain exhibitions where photography is not allowed. Videotaping and the use of tripods are not permitted unless prior arrangements have been made. Additionally, please refrain from using selfie sticks to ensure the safety of the artwork and other visitors. Visitors are also encouraged to share their photos on social media using the hashtag #AGO. Don't forget to respect the artwork and the experience of other gallery visitors while taking photographs.
