What are the hours and when should I call?
Emirates operates the call center for this 800-777-3999 phone number 24 hours, 7 days. The short answer is that you should call on a Tuesday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 1,218 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
When you use our free AI-powered phone to call and talk, wait on hold, or navigate for you, it will automatically wait until the Emirates call center opens before trying to call. It will ask your permission before it places the call, so you can also further delay that scheduled call until you are ready. But that means you can "set it and forget it" ahead of time.
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this Emirates phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like Emirates staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call Emirates is Sunday. The most busy day to call is Friday, which averages 103% more phone calls by comparison.Again, this is based on a sample of 1,218 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

The shortest wait on hold
We measured the shortest hold times to be on Tuesday. The longest wait in the queue on average occurs on Friday, which is 1114% longer than the minimum. As you can see, there is more fluctuation in hold time over the course of the week than there is in call volume.
In summation, the best day to call Emirates is Tuesday. It isn't the least busy day, but the fact that hold times are shortest combined with it being on the busy side tells us that Emirates staffs up on Tuesday to handle the higher call volume, and that makes it the best time to call.
Calling Emirates seems to be a little more aimed at the airline's loyalty members, but you can still get assistance with this number. When I called, I had to navigate through the online menu to find "anything else" after being asked if I was a travel agent or a member of Emirates' loyalty program. Following that, I was then asked if this was about an existing booking or a new booking, and I said it was a new booking.
Upon that, I was soon connected with a representative, although it appeared that hadn't happened at first. After a few seconds, she said hello without any other kind of greeting or confirmation that I had reached Emirates. I didn't get that confirmation until I responded, at which point she confirmed that I had reached Emirates and asked how she could assist.
I asked her what the cancellation policy would be if I were to book a flight on Emirates, and she told me that there were two cancellation policies depending on when the flight was. If I was purchasing a flight to be taken in the next seven days, there would be no cancellation policy without a fee once I'd bought the ticket. However, if I was purchasing a flight that was more than seven days in the future, I would have 24 hours in which to cancel the flight without penalty.
I asked if that was the case on every Emirates flight, and she confirmed it was. Overall, I thought that she did a good job of explaining things, but the introduction was a little weak. A representative shouldn't have to wait on the customer before they give you a greeting and confirmation that you've reached where you wanted. Based on this, I'd definitely use this number, but the opening impression could be improved.

Information about why customers call Emirates is extracted from issues that customers have reported to GetHuman.
Corresponding with a customer service department by email may not be your first choice, especially if your issue is urgent or time-sensitive. But email is a nearly ubiquitous form of communication, and Emirates will reply our your email.
As a last, sometimes only, resort- Emirates customer service can be accessed through their website. This can entail digging through help articles before finding a form and "being allowed" to submit a problem to their team, and rarely leads to a real-time conversation, which is why GetHuman does not recommend this unless it's the only way.
