Hello, I believe there may have been unauthorized access to my Etoro account. I hadn't logged in for quite some time to avoid dealing with my crypto holdings. Today, when I tried to log in, I couldn't. Initially, I suspected I had forgotten my password. After checking my secure storage for IDs, I realized the password was not working. I attempted to reset my password via email, but I have not received any emails from Etoro since 12/25/22. This unusual lack of communication, combined with the password issue and inability to reset it, has me concerned. Even on my phone, where the app usually logs me in automatically, I am now prompted for a password. I want to verify if my account is still linked to the correct email, as a change in my email address could indicate a security breach.

Due to my prolonged absence from the platform, I had to request a 5-digit code for verification purposes. Unfortunately, the verification button was inactive, preventing me from entering the code after multiple attempts. Subsequently, I forgot my password, leading me to reset it via email, only to have my account locked. Frustrated by the impersonal digital process, I spent over an hour trying to resolve the issue to no avail. In a frustrating turn of events, I couldn't even reach out for telephone assistance. It seems like technology is causing more inconvenience than assistance lately, and this experience has left me exasperated. The irony peaked when I tried to contact customer support in writing, only to realize I needed to log in - a task made impossible by the login issue I was already facing. Hello, I am registered with you via [redacted] and the username: Kainar88. I am unable to log in even though the password is saved online and I have written it down. When I click on "Forgot password," I do not receive an email. I have received an SMS instructing me to complete the identification process by 30.4.23, otherwise, my account may be restricted or closed. My phone number is [redacted]34. I had scanned my ID back then but the video call was not possible as my PC was too slow. I have since acquired a new PC and could complete the identification if logging in were possible. On May 19th, I realized my phone number was hacked, followed shortly by my email. By early evening, I found I couldn’t access the eToro platform. I initiated a password change request, but I can’t verify as the hacked phone number is inaccessible. Please freeze my account and cancel any recent transactions. I can't access my account on eToro due to the new two-factor authentication. The phone number they had on file is outdated, and the option to submit a ticket for help isn't functioning correctly. Every time I try to send a message, I receive an error saying, "an error occurred, please try again later," with no further details. I attempted this process two days ago and again today, experiencing the same frustrating outcome. It's frustrating to be unable to contact eToro without being logged in, which is impossible due to the error message.

Hello, everyone. My account, PhilMollt, with the email address [redacted], was hacked. My recent number was [redacted]2, but I want to change it to my new number, [redacted]4. I have a support ticket with a scheduled date for the change, which is on Monday, 26.6 at 2 pm. Recently, I noticed that someone changed my password through email. They also deleted some of my emails. I urgently need my account information updated as the hacker attempted to withdraw money and close positions. I hope these actions can be reversed as they were unauthorized. For additional information, I was born on 22.12.[redacted] in Darmstadt. My PayPal address is also [redacted] I have various investments, mainly in crypto such as ADA, Ripple, Ethereum, and I have holdings in Valneva Parts. I received a $10 free investment from EToro and invested in Volkswagen. My most recent investment, of around $10, should also be visible. Please, reach out to me and freeze the account as soon as possible as these activities are not authorized by me.

I am having trouble accessing my account. I have been attempting to reset my password, but I am not receiving the link to reset it. I have tried contacting my account manager multiple times, but my calls go unanswered and messages are not returned. Additionally, reaching out to customer service has been unproductive. The requirement to log in before speaking with a live agent seems impractical and frustrating.

However, during login, it's asking for a 2-factor authentication code that's being sent to my lost phone. Since I don't have access to it, I can't get into the app and access my portfolio.
