I recently spoke with one of your representatives, Kyle, regarding advertising on Yelp. He assured me that our company would receive free advertising with a credit on the account and that we would not be charged for any advertising on Yelp. However, on Monday, September 2, [redacted], a charge of $[redacted] was deducted from our company account without our authorization. I have tried contacting your company since Tuesday, September 3, [redacted], using the numbers provided by Kyle, but have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone. Could you please explain why this charge was made and when we can expect a refund for the amount mentioned above?
Additionally, I would like clarification on why a credit card is required on file for Yelp business accounts. I kindly request that someone contact my business manager, Tara Crawford, at [redacted] as soon as possible to assist in resolving this matter and provide an update on our refund.

My Yelp account was closed abruptly, and I am uncertain of the reason behind it. I consider myself a loyal reviewer on the platform and frequently utilize their services for ordering. The situation has left me feeling frustrated.
Yelp's practices seem questionable, focusing solely on profit and potentially unethical actions towards restaurants and delivery workers, which can be researched online. I have decided to discontinue using Eat24 and Yelp. When tipping delivery drivers, I will ensure to tip in cash to guarantee they receive the full amount intended.

We have been repeatedly contacted by sales representatives from Woofies Waffles, despite requesting them to stop calling. The last representative was extremely pushy and rude, prompting us to once again ask them to cease the calls. Shortly after this incident, we received a review from a user on Yelp, which we find suspicious given that we are based in Rochester, MN, while Yelp is located in San Francisco. When trying to flag the review, we encountered an error message preventing us from doing so. It is frustrating that we cannot contact customer service but only sales representatives, with no management available to address our concerns. We are seeking to have this review removed and to end the harassment of our staff by Woofies Waffles representatives.

I recently opened an account with Yelp on September 17, [redacted]. I spoke with customer support on October 1st, as my representative transferred me. When I asked about the cost, the other representative mentioned it would be $55.53 for 6 clicks. However, after checking, I was actually charged $[redacted].21. I have seen no improvement in business since running ads for my tow truck company, with no private or cash calls coming in. I am the general manager at Popdod in Highland Village, TX. During the setup of our Yelp page, I provided my personal credit card information to one of your sales representatives. I signed up for a "free" business listing and was enticed by a $[redacted] advertising bonus offer. Despite being promised assistance via email to enhance our page, we never received any suggestions. Surprisingly, our credit card was charged for the $[redacted] advertising bonus after a month. The company claimed we had agreed to a $10 daily budget, but we were actually charged around $47 per click to reach the budget limit. We feel misled by the $[redacted] bonus offer and the lack of support to set up our page, which led to it being neglected and not promoted as agreed. These practices seem unethical, if not fraudulent. We are requesting a refund of $[redacted], considering that click costs typically do not exceed $2.00 in online ad campaigns.

On Saturday night, I searched Yelp for "sushi delivery." The Yelp app listed various options, and I selected one to place an order. About 30 minutes later, realizing I hadn't received any updates, I checked the order confirmation. I discovered I had accidentally selected pick-up, and my home was outside the restaurant's delivery zone. This was my first time using the app for delivery, and I assumed typing "delivery" would show suitable options. After contacting Grubhub and the restaurant, they both confirmed they couldn't assist. While I acknowledge my error, I believe Yelp's results were misleading. I would like a full refund since I didn't receive my order that night. Thank you.

My spouse, aged 70, was urged into a Yelp advertising agreement shortly post a stroke. She wasn't in the mental condition to comprehend the terms due to her medical situation. Despite this, she was persuaded by the sales representative to purchase. She struggles to manage or understand the billing, and recently discovered a $[redacted] charge on her credit card for Yelp services. Had she been in a stable state of mind like before her stroke, she wouldn't have agreed to the program. I've assisted her in canceling the advertising, but she is still responsible for the $[redacted].

I'm trying to address the issue of my review being repeatedly removed. I recently left a detailed review for Bangz Hair Studio, but Yelp HQ removed it, saying it didn't clearly indicate my firsthand experience. To prove my authenticity as a customer, I'm sharing Bank statements from the past two years showing regular payments to Bangz. The removed review praised Terry's professional service but criticized the shop's cleanliness and use of non-organic products. Despite challenges, Terry's skills kept me returning until he left to open an organic shop. This is not the first time a review of mine has been removed due to doubts of my customer status.

After escalating the issue with Yelp support and mentioning legal authorities, I finally got an email from the office manager confirming that both vouchers would be refunded within 3-5 business days. I expressed my frustration at the delayed response, as I was unsure if they had even received my refund request or if they would approve it.
The manager mentioned not being familiar with GetHuman, which I also found puzzling. I will have to wait until after Thanksgiving to confirm the refund of $49 for the two vouchers on my credit card.
It's disappointing that many others have faced similar challenges, highlighting a concerning business practice. The manager also clarified that purchasing another voucher is not allowed if you already have one, whether or not you have used it. My tip for others facing this issue is to mention the Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, or Consumer Affairs for a quicker response.

I reached out to Yelp regarding defamation of my character. Yelp indicated they cannot intervene based on an individual's review. However, there was no actual experience since the person was never a customer, and the incident described did not occur. My case number is [redacted]. If Yelp cannot assist further, I will pursue legal action against this individual in civil court for damages.

I've noticed that Yelp seems to be hiding my reviews. When I'm logged in, my reviews appear but otherwise, they are nowhere to be found. Other reviews that are hidden can only be seen at the bottom of the page, but even there, my reviews are missing. I try to share feedback about issues like contaminated food and poor service for the benefit of others, but it looks like Yelp is favoring certain businesses. Genuine and helpful reviews are being suppressed. Even the reviews that do get published are pushed down deep into the page, making them hard to find. It feels like a form of discrimination and needs to be addressed legally. I encourage you to test this out by leaving a negative review and checking if it gets buried, especially for businesses Yelp might have connections with.
