I purchased a voucher for Luxe Den Salon & Spa in NYC, offering a $30 service for $20. When I called to schedule an appointment, I made it clear that I wanted eyebrows, upper lip, and a manicure. Upon arrival, I had to remind them several times to start as I was pressed for time. Despite requesting threading for my eyebrows and upper lip, they waxed them instead, causing skin injuries. When I went for my manicure, they claimed it was too close to closing time. I feel I did not receive the service worth $30 and would like a refund for my $20.

I recently discovered that a dental office is using a previous positive review I wrote on YELP as a testimonial to attract new patients. I removed my review from YELP due to the unsuccessful dental work I received. I did not authorize this dentist to use my review on their website, especially given the negative outcome of the treatments. I think YELP should step in and ask the dentist to remove my words from their Testimonials section. I no longer support this dental practice and do not stand by my initial positive remarks. I am willing to identify myself and the review I originally posted on YELP.

I am dealing with a very damaging Yelp review that contains misinformation and twisted words. This review has impacted my business negatively for 40 years, affecting my ability to get new work. The customer who left the review was already taken care of, so I need advice on how to handle this situation. I believe it could be considered slander or defamation of character. I was unable to defend myself due to circumstances beyond my control. I am eager to remove this harmful review or provide a truthful explanation. Please advise on what steps I can take to address this issue promptly. Thank you.

I am contacting you regarding our Yelp page for California Veterinary Specialists Carlsbad. There have been challenges with a dissatisfied client engaging in negative feedback. Despite our attempts to communicate and resolve the issue, the client remains unresponsive, opting to escalate the matter through legal channels and encouraging their social media followers to leave unwarranted negative reviews on our page. These additional reviewers lack firsthand experience with us and may be misinformed about the situation. We have been vigilant in monitoring and reporting reviews that breach Yelp's guidelines, but some individuals are creating fraudulent content to circumvent our efforts. Regrettably, some reviewers are unjustly targeting me personally, impacting my professional standing, even though I was not involved in the initial matter at hand. This situation is distressing and requires significant time and attention to address effectively.

I work for a pest control company in Southern California called "Rodents Stop." We receive approximately 30 leads daily and complete around [redacted] jobs per month. Our customers are generally satisfied with our services and leave reviews on different platforms. However, we have noticed that Yelp has been consistently removing our reviews. In the last month alone, they removed around 40 reviews, and a few months ago, 20 more were taken down. Despite some 1-star reviews being suspected as fake from competitors, they remain visible. This discrepancy is concerning as it appears that our legitimate reviews are being targeted. When we inquired with Yelp, they mentioned it could be due to the volume of reviews we are receiving. However, this seems inaccurate considering the amount of work we handle. Any insights or assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am unable to access my business account for making changes on Yelp. Despite attempts to reset the password, I am redirected to create a new account. I require Yelp's assistance in regaining access.
Moreover, I urgently need Yelp to address a customer review issue. A certain individual left a retaliatory review on my business after his malicious intentions were not entertained. He later posted a false review as revenge, which is not a genuine representation. I am unable to report it as I can't access my account. The review is misleading and irrelevant, and I request Yelp to remove it.
In a separate incident, another individual left a review after being declined as a client. Unfortunately, after a disturbing phone call, it was clear this person was not stable and was trying to shift blame onto me. I am struggling to find a way to contact Yelp to address this issue promptly.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am the owner of Marina del Rey Florist. I have been a longtime user of Yelp and have always maintained a positive standing. Recently, 17 of my 5-star reviews were unexpectedly removed within the past 3 weeks. This coincided with a contact attempt from one of Yelp's advertisers, which I declined.
My reviews, based on genuine customer experiences, are supported by transaction records. Yelp has taken down a total of 40 of my 5-star reviews, more than any other florist in the area. Despite being the only brick-and-mortar florist in Marina del Rey, my ranking has dropped from number one to number seven. The other florists ranking above me are not even based in Marina del Rey.
I feel Yelp's actions are unprofessional and unethical, seemingly pushing me to advertise with them. I am puzzled by Yelp's motivations in potentially harming my business unfairly.
I am eagerly awaiting your response.
Best regards,
Sara C.

Hello, I am seeking assistance because a few years ago, I was informed that I could not post a Yelp review about the treatment of dogs at a company I used to work for. A representative implied I was wasting their time, making fun of me, and dismissed my request. They mentioned I couldn't leave a review due to my past employment and were quite rude. I've noticed others posting reviews about their former workplaces that are a couple of years old. Why weren't those reviews removed? I believe each comment is reviewed by your team before publication on the site, is that correct? I simply wanted to inform people that the company I worked for was misleading customers about their dogs' well-being. Previous clients shared pictures of their dogs after being at the facility, confirming my concerns. They deserve to know the truth. Please respond promptly so I can understand why some negative work experiences can be shared while others cannot. If someone was mistreating your loved ones, I'm certain you'd want to know, right? Isn't the main purpose of this site to provide honest reviews for companies to improve their services?

Yelp mistakenly listed a fictitious company under our corporate name, Tidewater Overhead Door, with an incorrect phone number [redacted]. Federal laws like the FTT require accuracy in listing a company's information. Before involving our corporate attorney, I urge Yelp to explain why this error occurred and to rectify the situation. Our legitimate contact number is ([redacted]) [redacted]-DOOR ([redacted]). Both our phone number and logo are trademarked, making this a potential legal issue. Yelp must contact me, Woody Ball, at the provided office number or via email at [redacted] promptly. Thank you.

I recently left a review for a local business that I am fond of. It was a few weeks ago. Just today, while browsing on Yelp for another local business, I received a pop-up stating that my photo, which I had included with my review, had been viewed 12 times. However, when I searched for my review on the business page, it was nowhere to be seen.
Venturing into "reviews not recommended," I found my review there. I am puzzled as to why my review is not recommended. This business is one I frequent and recommend to friends. My review is genuine and not solicited in any way.
Writing a positive review seems futile if it ends up being sidelined. I would appreciate if someone could reach out to me regarding this matter.
Thank you.

I am the proprietor of Lock 15 Brewing Co. in Akron, OH. I generally do not engage with public reviews, but I felt compelled to address one recent review that inaccurately commented on our pricing. Despite our efforts to offer a great experience and clear pricing, discrepancies can occur. After realizing a reviewer had not included all items on their bill, I contacted them via Yelp messaging. They confessed their error in the conversation. This misleading review undermines our transparency and commitment to value. I kindly request for this review to be removed as it tarnishes our reputation unfairly. Please reach out to me for further information. Thank you.

I recently came across a negative review of Novel Tree that resonated with my own experiences multiple times. It's disappointing that this critique was filtered out, preventing me from publicly acknowledging my agreement or voicing my disagreement due to the lack of a vote button.
I was compelled to read reviews of this store after questioning the abundance of positive feedback, given my personal encounters with misrepresented products despite spending a significant amount of money there.

I have received over six reviews for my new business in the past eight months, but Yelp keeps removing some of them, stating they are "not relevant," which is completely untrue. They only display two reviews at a time, causing frustration for both my clients and me. These genuine and legitimate reviews are crucial for my business growth, and Yelp's actions are harming my business. I am proud of the feedback I have received and want all reviews to be visible on my business page, Bella Cosi Studios in Boise, Idaho. Please address this issue promptly. Thank you, Ann L., owner of Bella Cosi Studios, LLC. [redacted]

I had about [redacted] reviews, and all of a sudden, reviews are being placed in the "not recommended" file that shouldn't be there. People with over [redacted] reviews have been relegated to "not recommended," including an Elite Squad member. Businesses rely on Yelp reviews to thrive. While it makes sense not to recommend those with only one or two reviews, this situation feels intentional, especially when older reviews that should be recommended are being affected. I really need your assistance. Due to a foot injury requiring surgery, I have not been able to visit businesses. Yelp has been very helpful, but now it's becoming distressing. I feel like my hard work is being punished, even though I know that's not Yelp's intention. I've had issues with former employees causing harm, so I hope this isn't related to their actions. Thank you.

I placed an ad and confirmed with a Yelp representative that the $[redacted] bonus ads would cover it. Despite this, I was charged $78 last week and contacted customer service, but received no response. Now, I see charges totaling over $[redacted], even though I thought the bonus ads would cover it. I have cancelled the ad, but I am concerned about the accumulating charges, especially at over $8 per click. I reached out last week for clarification but never heard back, leading to this situation. I understood that I would not be charged until the $[redacted] bonus was used up. Please refund my money and provide an explanation for these charges.

I recently discovered unauthorized access to my Yelp account and took steps to close it. However, despite multiple attempts to reset the password and follow the account closure process provided by Yelp, I have been unable to successfully close my account due to technical issues on their website.
On several occasions, I received messages indicating that my password was incorrect and prompting me to reset it, but the links provided led me back to the login page with no resolution. I also reached out to Yelp via email but did not receive a response to my request to close the account. Even after contacting Yelp's customer service by phone, I was unable to get assistance in closing my account as the representative disconnected the call when I explained my situation.
I am seeking guidance and support to successfully close my Yelp account to ensure the security of my information. Thank you for any help you can provide in resolving this matter.
Best regards,
Nan Clarke

I am seeking assistance with having a review removed from my business page. A review by "Cheryl A." was updated, reiterating the same issue as a previous review but with the apparent intention of harming my business and the owner directly. Despite reporting this to Yelp, no action has been taken, even though Cheryl A.'s conduct seems to defy Yelp's guidelines. According to Yelp's own rules, review updates should present a new experience or interaction, not just repeat previous content. Cheryl's review, however, simply reiterates the same concerns with added colorful language. I believe this review should be taken down based on Yelp's guidelines.

I had issues with my YELP review for New York City plastic surgeon, Dr. Norman Pastorek, being removed twice. Whenever I try to log in, I am informed that my account has been closed. I am unsure why this is happening as I haven't violated any rules. I'm concerned if the doctor is behind the removal of my review. Is that allowed? My username is [redacted] Previously, YELP closed my account due to having multiple accounts, which was unintentional. They mentioned they closed the accounts without my permission. To restart, I created the current account to share my review. It is frustrating as the doctor's office reputation is so concerning that my review spans eight pages, but I can only post two.

In [redacted], Rob O. contacted me to install rain gutters for a project he was overseeing. Due to heavy rain, I suggested rescheduling, which offended him. He responded aggressively, claiming military and police backgrounds, intimidating me. I declined to proceed, and he left a negative review on Yelp which was previously hidden but reappeared in December. I responded briefly on Yelp, clarifying the situation. In retaliation, he launched a vicious attack filled with false accusations and threats on my integrity. As a 62-year-old, I never intended harm. I merely declined his project due to his aggression. Please review our other feedback and assist in removing his harmful comments.

I am requesting an audit of 21 5-star reviews that have been removed from my profile. I have legal evidence that confirms these reviews were genuine as they were from my actual patients. Interestingly, two one-star reviews from individuals who were never my patients have not been removed. It's also worth noting that Dr. Lords, who advertises on the site, has 34 five-star reviews with very few removals. I have had around 40 5-star reviews removed, leaving only 10 on my profile. I would like to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you.
