I had a distressing experience today at Cost Plus World Market in Winter Garden, Florida. The incident involved a female employee who displayed aggressive behavior towards my partner and me. We were yelled at and pressured to sign up for a membership. The employee's conduct was unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable and harassed. We traveled a long distance to visit the store, but instead of enjoying our time there, we were subjected to this appalling treatment. The employee's relentless insistence crossed a line, culminating in her physically grabbing my arm to prove her point. This behavior was not only distressing for us but also made other customers and employees uncomfortable. The whole ordeal was disheartening, and we have decided not to return to this store. I feel that the employee should be reprimanded, and the store management should take measures to ensure such incidents do not occur in the future. The experience was so unpleasant that I am considering taking further action. This situation has left a lasting negative impression, and I hope it will be addressed appropriately.

Hello World Market Team, I have been trying to contact customer service by phone for the past few days with no success. I am reaching out regarding product defects for the third time now. As a loyal World Market customer, I have never encountered product issues to this extent before. I would like to request refunds or returns for the following items: 1. White Geometric Porter Dresser - SKU: [redacted]9 - Description: Paint chipped off, multiple serious cracks and defects on the right wooden panel, upper right drawer stuck. 2. Faux Boxwood Spiral Topiary - SKU: [redacted]4 - Description: Crushed/broken concrete at the base, causing instability. Had to clean up debris from the crushed concrete. Order Number: [redacted] Date: April 02, [redacted] These furniture and decor pieces were expensive and have been unpleasant and inconvenient experiences for us. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide at this time. Thank you.

I was trying to locate my order as the store couldn't find it, even with the order number. Customer service provided details but not the location. I explained that my store had 3 items in stock but not part of an order, and I ordered 4 expecting them between the 21-23rd. Despite my explanation, the lady suggested the store had a floor model, which was incorrect. I tried to clarify that the 3 in stock just arrived on a truck, not as floor models, but she hung up on me. Frustrated, I expect my order as promised without dealing with unhelpful customer service. My order number is [redacted]8, placed on the 17th for the Blossom Hill Rd. store in San Jose.

I recently completed a profile with World Market and encountered password issues multiple times. Despite trying to get a temporary code and speaking with a customer service representative over the phone, the experience was not as accommodating as expected. I have dealt with other companies that offer discounts for time spent resolving account issues, unlike my recent encounter at the store located at [redacted] around 11 AM. The lack of flexibility from the customer service representative was disappointing, and it has deterred my future shopping at World Market. Despite the polite interaction, the unwillingness to provide assistance or discounts after spending over two hours online is regrettable. In a competitive market, customer service plays a significant role, and this experience has made me reconsider shopping at World Market in the future. It's a shame as I have previously enjoyed shopping there. The staff at the physical store location at [redacted], however, was helpful and respectful.
