They are trying to foreclose on my home and are not providing assistance when I am not feeling well and having difficulty completing paperwork for the unemployment government program. There is no HUD counselor in our area of Redding, CA, and no help from Keep Your Home California. Wells Fargo rewrote my HAMP program and took it back at 5%. I have been trying for months; they even sent the bank two payments, putting me further behind and also denied assistance at the branch, saying they couldn't help me on a recorded call on the helpline. It's crazy! I need some help! I worked my whole life for my home, being a single parent, now a grandparent. - Karen Souder

I need assistance with a credit report entry stating "Foreclosure started" for loan number [redacted] under client number [redacted] with WFHM. I am requesting a letter confirming full payment of the loan after selling the property to remove the foreclosure notation. Kindly copy this letter to both Experian and ARC for a rapid account rescore. I can provide a letter from WFHM acknowledging the full payment. This issue's quick resolution would greatly influence my consideration of working with WFHM in the future. The property address needing clarification is [redacted] NE 145th PL, Bothell [redacted]. Signed, Craig M. at [redacted] E Riverside Dr B103, Bothell, WA [redacted].

My partner lost his job in January [redacted] and faced hardships, leading to him entering an assistance program with Wells Fargo where he was informed his mortgage payments would be adjusted for 8 months or until he found new employment. Despite being told that after the program ends his mortgage would return to normal and any missed payments would be dealt with, this did not happen. As the assistance program was ending in April [redacted], he received a foreclosure notice demanding $15,[redacted] immediately, which was unexpected and unmanageable. Wells Fargo then offered a modification that would spread the sum owed over 30 years with a higher interest rate, significantly increasing the total repayment. Despite reaching out to various departments and investigators, they have been unable to find a solution and are now facing the risk of losing their home. They are requesting Wells Fargo to acknowledge the misinformation provided during the initial assistance program and work with them to come to a fair resolution to avoid foreclosure.

Mortgage refinance request denial.
I took the survey Liz Bryant forwarded to me. After receiving an email stating that my comments would be passed along, I followed up on 6/26/[redacted] at 9:40 pm HI Time about my mortgage refinance. Despite numerous attempts to reach Lee Thomas Jr, who I was working with since May 3, [redacted], I received a denial letter from the underwriter without a courtesy explanation from the mortgage specialist. Lee mentioned my poor credit score as the main reason for the denial, despite my explanations and efforts to address it. I was promised a call back from Joey, the manager, which never happened despite my inquiries. I expressed my disappointment in the lack of communication and the dismissal of my loyalty and personal circumstances in my file review. I am waiting for a response from Wells Fargo Mortgage Customer Service to address my concerns and reconsider my application beyond the credit score risk assessment.

Last night, I explained my situation, hoping for a resolution to approve a refinance. I have been a mortgage holder for over 10 years, but my credit took a hit when I lost my job in [redacted]. I haven't been able to find a job with the same income since. My mortgage has been current due to auto-debit, but I now need to refinance to pay off debts and improve my credit score. Even with cash out, a rate reduction from 5.[redacted]% would not affect my affordability. A preliminary loan estimate showed a lower monthly payment. I am looking for someone to give my request another look and provide some value to my inquiry.

There is an ongoing issue with Wells Fargo regarding an incorrect address that they have refused to rectify. Despite providing evidence that the address should be listed as Street instead of Road, the bank has not made the necessary changes, resulting in the misclassification of the property in a flood zone and the unnecessary imposition of flood insurance. This, in turn, led to payment discrepancies, with funds being allocated incorrectly and causing defaults with accumulating late charges. Despite repeated attempts over a year to resolve the matter and numerous discussions with Wells Fargo executives, the problem remains unresolved, leading to continued frustration. The author is seeking assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

I need to inform the home mortgage service department about a recent change in my homeowners insurance policy. I canceled it but have now reinstated the previous policy. I contacted Wells Fargo to update my information on the mortgage insurance system, but unfortunately, when I called on a Saturday morning during business hours in Central Time, the system reported that the office was closed.

I am writing regarding loan number #[redacted]. I recently received a notice about an escrow review in the mail indicating a potential shortage. My concern is why this has been happening consistently over the past few years. Previously, the shortage was attributed to taxes and an increase in homeowners insurance. I am curious to know the current reason for this recurring issue as it seems to be happening frequently. I look forward to your response.

I have a question regarding my loan payment. My loan number is [redacted]. As a new Wells Fargo customer, my loan was transferred successfully from Austin First Mortgage. However, I have yet to receive payment instructions for my upcoming first payment on February 1st, as I will be out of the country from 1/18 to 2/5. I attempted to enroll in the online payment system with my loan number yesterday, but was unsuccessful. I prefer online transfers and would like to ensure I can make my first monthly payment on time. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Subject: Assistance Needed with Foreclosure Issue
I recently discovered a foreclosure status on my house when I tried to make a payment. While I was aware of being behind on payments, I did not realize the severity of the situation. My husband's job loss and a slowdown in my self-employed practice led to this struggle. I am a licensed clinical psychologist, working full time despite being disabled. I am keen to find a solution to remove the foreclosure status or ideally refinance the property.
Attempts to contact you by phone have been unsuccessful due to extended hold times. Working remotely during the pandemic has made it challenging to communicate during regular business hours. I have also encountered complications with back taxes and a federal lien on the property due to my self-employment.
Please contact me at [redacted] at your earliest convenience. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Catherine Quinn-Kerins

I had a lengthy and successful relationship with the company but encountered issues with my Wells Fargo Mortgage Account. Despite being divorced in [redacted], the Divorce Decree held my ex-husband responsible for payments, but I updated my address in [redacted] to ensure I received late notices. Unfortunately, late payments started affecting my credit history when my ex-husband's address became the address of record once more. Even after making payments, the branch manager wouldn't let me update the address due to the Divorce Decree, leading to further delinquency. Ultimately, I paid off the loan, and later, found out about an old check that was forgotten in the night deposit at the local Wells Fargo branch. I regret not taking more proactive steps to address these issues sooner. I hope for your understanding and request that the account be removed from my credit report, given the loan has been settled.

I had an account with you a few years ago and was transferred to SLS for the service. Previously, my taxes were paid through your service, but in [redacted], CoreLogic accidentally paid the taxes for a different client they were responsible for. After Wells paid my taxes, the tax office refunded the funds to you as CoreLogic's payment was in error. Despite sending a letter from CoreLogic and copies from the tax office showing payments and refunds, SLS claims they did not receive the refund. They suggest that Wells may still have it. I provided CoreLogic with your information to investigate. They sent me a letter threatening to take legal action for the payment. I am unsure where to direct my information request. I am trying to locate my account number, but I hope this information helps identify it. Contact me via email for questions and proof of the refund transferred to SLS. Thank you for your assistance.
