One year ago, I bought a vehicle for my daughter. After our move on August 1, [redacted], I visited the local branch on August 2, [redacted], to update my address and set up auto payments for the car. Unfortunately, the local branch made an error with the auto draft, leading to two missed payments without my knowledge.
Upon discovering the issue, I promptly paid the outstanding balance and had them rectify the payment method. Despite resolving the situation, the two late payments are now hindering my efforts to purchase a home. I have a recorded conversation with Wells Fargo Dealer Service, the local branch manager, and myself, in addition to a letter from the branch manager accepting responsibility for the mistake.
