Hello,
I am reaching out for assistance. My daughter used to teach at Belville Middle School in Woodbridge, USA, for three years and lived in the same town. During her time there, she must have picked up some of your folding plastic store bags, which she brought back to the UK. We found them incredibly convenient due to their size and how easily they can be stored, unlike anything we have here. Unfortunately, most of them were stolen from our shopping trolley recently, leaving us with just one. Would it be possible for me to purchase three or four more from you and have them shipped to the UK? I am more than happy to cover all expenses, including the bags and shipping costs.
Best regards,
Graham Grimmshaw

I had a disappointing experience at Wegmans. As a librarian receiving a gift card from my school colleagues, I ran into problems at the Short Pump store. Despite not knowing the value of the gift card and facing a line of customers, the employees were unable to assist promptly. To expedite the process for others, I paid for my purchase without resolving the gift card issue. When I inquired about refund options, the response was not accommodating. Feeling frustrated and embarrassed, I left the gift card behind and decided not to return. This experience has left me questioning whether I will continue to choose Wegmans over Publix. The incident occurred on 6/02/[redacted] with op# [redacted].

Dear Community Members,
I am currently at Wegmans in Columbia, MD, with my husband. We frequent this store for our shopping needs. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with a cashier at the meals and food bar today. The cashier, an Asian man in his 50s with a name similar to Wei Vou, was disrespectful towards me during checkout. He raised his voice and acted rudely when I made a minor mistake. Despite expressing my concerns about his behavior, he continued to be disrespectful and even discussed the issue loudly with his coworker, an African American lady. This encounter left me feeling upset and embarrassed. This behavior is not reflective of the usual excellent service I receive at Wegmans, and I felt the need to address this incident. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I realize that InstaCart's curbside pickup service is experiencing high demand. I've been attempting to place an order for Syracuse James Street and Fairmont Dewitt since 8PM yesterday without success. I even tried again at 4AM. Is there a specific method I should follow to complete my checkout process? I'm willing to wait and schedule a pickup a few days ahead, even if all items aren't available. I just need guidance on how to successfully schedule a pickup and complete the checkout process. Thank you.

I want to share my positive experience with Wegman's, but I miss shopping in-store. I faced an issue with an order but struggled to provide all the necessary details to Instacart. There was confusion with my email, and I had trouble locating a register number, only finding OP#[redacted]. Despite being charged for two half gallons of milk, I did not receive them. Using Instacart ended up more expensive than expected due to service fees. While quarantined, I appreciate the delivery service, but the missing items have been frustrating. I suggested improvements for future deliveries. If the issue cannot be resolved, I am willing to move on to avoid further time investment. I will continue using Instacart until I can shop in-store again.

I am disappointed to share my recent experience at the Virginia Beach location regarding the unavailability of shopping carts for moms of multiples. When I inquired about this to a staff member, I was informed that the carts needed cleaning and were difficult to maintain, hence they were no longer provided to customers. Upon further discussion with customer service, I was informed that the decision to remove the carts was made at the corporate level to ensure everyone's safety during the pandemic.
As a parent of 2.5-year-old twins without family nearby, I found this situation challenging. Despite hearing positive reviews about the store from local friends, my visit with my twins proved to be quite a struggle. It is essential to consider that not all families can leave their children at home while shopping. Moreover, with the large military presence in this community, many parents are solo caregivers with their kids. I hope the store management will take into account the needs of all types of families when making decisions like this in the future.

Hello,
I wanted to share a recent experience at your store. I traveled from Rockville, Maryland to pick up my prescription and do some grocery shopping. Due to nerve damage, I chose to get ready-cooked chicken as I couldn't cook that day. The cashier was friendly and assisted me as I was on a manual wheelchair. However, when she mentioned that my Food Stamp only covered certain items and not the chicken, I was surprised as other stores accept it. I explained I couldn't afford it and she called her manager. Unfortunately, the manager didn't greet me and simply removed the chicken from my list without acknowledging me. It reminded me of a past experience where a different store supervisor waived a cost when my Food Stamp didn't cover it. I was disappointed by the rudeness of your employee and how the situation was handled.

I visited the East Ave location in Rochester, NY on Mother’s Day, 5/9/21, around noon to purchase flowers and a few other items. My main objective was to have fresh, beautiful flowers for Mother's Day. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find the flower station completely empty, with only two employees present. They mentioned they were "out of stock." It was disappointing to see such a lack of preparation, especially on a day when flowers are highly sought after. The limited staff and lack of flowers made it clear that the store was not ready for the demand. Even if they had enough flowers earlier in the day, the staff would likely have struggled to accommodate all the customers looking for bouquets.

While shopping at your Ithaca store today, on August 31st, I noticed that the sign outside is inaccurate. It currently states that the "most current" CDC guidance advises no masks for vaccinated individuals. However, the CDC's recommendations have evolved, and now they suggest that both vaccinated and unvaccinated people should wear masks indoors, especially in settings like yours. This is due to the higher viral loads of the Delta variant, which can lead to breakthrough infections in vaccinated individuals, causing illness and potential spread to others. Although vaccinated individuals have lower risks of severe outcomes, it is crucial to provide up-to-date and accurate information, especially for a major pharmacy like yours. Updating the sign and implementing a mask requirement for staff and customers, particularly for the unvaccinated, would not only protect public health but also uphold Wegmans' reputation. It is essential not to delay in following current CDC guidelines and to avoid spreading misinformation regarding mask recommendations.

I am disappointed with the recent Wegmans chicken breasts I purchased. For two weeks in a row, I have encountered sharp bones while trimming the meat in the family pack. The amount of trimming needed and the bone discovery are concerning, as they pose a potential choking hazard. Additionally, the chicken from last week showed signs of freezer burn and seemed of poor quality overall. As a loyal customer who frequently shops at Wegmans, I am reconsidering buying chicken breast from your store in the future. I have a picture available if needed. Thank you.

I visited the Easton Palmer, Pennsylvania store on Rt [redacted] and witnessed customers in shock due to empty shelves. The current situation is frustrating, and it's vital for the store to address these issues promptly, especially with the holiday season approaching. It's important for businesses to stay stocked up and cater to customer needs. The concern about shortages is valid, so it's crucial for the store to take action and improve the shopping experience. Let's hope for a positive change soon.

I've noticed that some customers in your store are not wearing masks, despite the current mandate requiring them. This situation makes many of us feel uncomfortable and reluctant to shop at Wegmans. It's important for management to enforce this policy, especially with the rising Covid cases. If this issue is not addressed promptly, I may have to escalate it further. I hope to see improvements soon.

I am curious about whether Wegmans made changes to both the packaging and the almond milk formula when they updated the design of their Original Almond Milk. I have used Wegmans almond milk for many years, but I recently purchased two half-gallons of the redesigned product and noticed a strong unpleasant aftertaste when I opened the first carton. It was different from what I had previously purchased in the old packaging. After thinking the first carton might have gone bad, I opened the second one and found the same aftertaste. I returned the second carton to the store for a refund of $1.99. Although I should have returned the first carton, unfortunately, I had already disposed of it. The expiration date was 5/28, and the number on the bottom was [redacted]/21 P69 T05 JF [redacted] 10:57. I regret to say that I will not be purchasing Wegmans almond milk again due to this experience happening twice now. I am uncertain about the cause of these changes, but it seems like a step backward.

I recently ordered 2 flounder filets through Instacart, expecting thin filets weighing about 0.5 lbs total, but instead received two thick pieces weighing about 0.85 lbs. Unfortunately, upon cooking, it was evident that the fish was not flounder as labeled but rather a tough, low-quality fish like pollock. The taste was unpleasant and the texture was stringy and tough. I am unsure if this was a mistake at the fish counter or a larger issue of fraud. Following this experience, I have decided not to order fish from Wegmans through Instacart again.

On June 20, [redacted], I was eating the salad I bought from Wegman's on June 18, [redacted], and unexpectedly bit into a hard object, later discovered to be a bamboo piece tied into a bow. I returned it to the Owings Mills, MD store and was assisted by Marc, who could improve on customer service. Despite getting a refund, the incident was quite frightening, considering the potential harm if swallowed. Given the distress caused, I believe I should receive further compensation in the form of vouchers and an apology. I'm still mourning the loss of my wife in [redacted] and big brother in [redacted]. I provided Marc with a detailed account, the object, and the remaining salad.

I got Wegmans organic ground turkey at the Canandaigua store with a use or freeze by date of 1/11. However, I found it spoiled when I opened it on the 10th - gray, slimy, and with a terrible odor. Despite explaining this to customer service on the 12th, they refused a refund, claiming it was past the date. I purchased another package with a use or freeze by date of 1/15, only to find it spoiled as well on 1/14. This is the second time this has happened in a week, and I am disappointed. The customer service employee's response was also disheartening, questioning my honesty. This behavior does not align with Wegmans' usual high standards of service.

My prescription for Lantus Solostar was filled on April 6, and I picked it up the next day. Originally, there should have been 5 boxes of 5 pens each, but I only received 2 boxes. When I tried to refill it on May 18, I was informed that no refills could be covered until June 6. Upon checking, they said my prescription was filled with 5 boxes split between two bags, with 3 in one and 2 in another, and there is video evidence of this. My concern is why there is no video proof of me picking it up and only receiving 2 boxes. I am dissatisfied with the responses given and the fact that I've been charged for insulin that I didn't get. The Mt. Read Wegman's pharmacy did provide me with one box of pens on May 23 as a temporary solution, but the root issue still needs to be addressed promptly. My name is Ronald Ellsworth, and I am under the care of Dr. John Robb.

During my first visit to Wegman's, I purchased meats, milk, berries, and other items. Despite my request, there were no plastic bags available at checkout, making it challenging to carry my groceries up a flight of stairs. Unfortunately, the paper bags provided were flimsy and two of them broke on the way to my kitchen, resulting in a jar of pickles breaking open and causing a mess. I had to use a entire roll of paper towels to clean up the spill, which was inconvenient. I believe the switch to paper bags is not necessarily better for the environment compared to plastic bags. If Wegman's does not reintroduce plastic bags, I may have to reconsider shopping there again. Additionally, I incurred losses of around $8.00 worth of items and spent a significant amount of time dealing with the aftermath of the broken jars that resulted in a cut on my hand from the glass.

I visited the Niagara Falls Wegmans on Sunday night and ordered a cheese pizza, along with a salad. Unfortunately, the pizza was disappointing - dry, tasteless, and with a crust like cardboard. My family, who usually loves pizza, also found it unappetizing. We had to throw away the entire large pie, which was a waste of money. Additionally, the French blend lettuce I purchased was wilted, even though it was not past its expiration date. As a loyal customer who spends over $[redacted] monthly at Wegmans, I am upset about this experience.
