I recently received an email with a phone number for Webroot customer service. The number provided was [redacted] and claimed to offer fast customer service assistance. However, upon calling, I discovered that the person who answered was not affiliated with Webroot at all. I am seeking legitimate help and not interested in being directed to a community support group where I am unsure of the expertise of the individuals assisting. I would like to know if Webroot has a valid after-hours phone number for support as I prefer professional assistance for my technical issues. Thank you for any clarification on this matter.

I am experiencing an issue with the Webroot Password Manager extension for Chrome not showing up on my computer, where Webroot is installed. The Filtering Extension works fine, but the Password Manager is missing. I had a similar problem with another computer running Windows 7, while my new computer is using Windows 10. Interestingly, my other laptop at home, with Webroot installed, does display the Password Manager extension in Chrome. Despite trying the usual troubleshooting steps found online, we couldn't resolve the issue. Although I can access the Password Manager through the Secure Anywhere suite in the cloud, I specifically need the Chrome extension to autofill website passwords.

I contacted Geeksquad support for assistance. They attempted to remove and reinstall Webroot from my PC. Despite trying to uninstall it from the control panel and disabling shields, an error message regarding the deletion of a WRSA.exe file kept appearing. Even efforts to delete the file through Command Prompt were unsuccessful. There seems to be a partial installation of Webroot causing issues. I am unable to uninstall or install it properly. When trying to reinstall, it redirects to the old crashed Webroot homepage prompting for activation and scan. This leaves my PC without virus protection. I need help to delete corrupt files from Webroot so it can be reinstalled correctly.

I have just installed WSA 9.1.0.[redacted]:[redacted]. Here are some issues I am facing:
1. The first scan completed only after un-mounting Time Machine.
2. I am unable to open the application via the Dock; I receive an error message.
3. I can launch the app through the Menu Bar icon, but a scan starts immediately.
4. Scans on my Mac are running for over 12 hours despite only 29% of my 1TB hard drive being full.
5. Can I remount Time Machine now that the first scan is done? Will it avoid scanning Time Machine if I do not select the option?
I have used WSA for years without encountering these problems. Is this version compatible with Mac OS X Catalina? Your prompt assistance would be appreciated.

I am having trouble with my key code, as it keeps showing as invalid. I have been trying to fix this issue for over three hours now, and I feel like I am not making any progress. I am certain that my key code is correct, and I still have around [redacted] days left on my account. I really need to speak with a customer service representative to sort out this issue as the automated system is not helping me. I have been a loyal Webroot customer for many years, but I am frustrated with the current situation. After rebooting my PC, the Webroot download was removed. How can I go about resolving this problem and reinstalling Webroot successfully?

I recently bought Webroot from Amazon around June 8, [redacted] for three computers. I successfully installed it on my laptop but encountered issues when trying to install it on two other computers. The Key Code seems to be invalid for those computers. I understand that the installation might expire around June [redacted]. I am concerned if this is a potential scam by Webroot. I need to update my Webroot on my current computer before the subscription expires in a couple of days.

I am experiencing difficulties transferring my paid Webroot program to my new computer. Despite receiving incorrect four-digit codes twice, the online reinstall process did not work on my new system. I have the Key Code, but when attempting to download the program, nothing prompts me to input it. Even using the Webroot CD did not trigger the Key Code prompt. I am frustrated by the lack of support to resolve this issue, as I am unable to access important information from my old computer.

My Webroot SecureAnywhere is not scanning my computer or accepting my commands to scan. I am unable to access the Webroot console by clicking on the icon on my taskbar. Although I can see the Webroot icon, nothing happens when I right-click to open it. Even after logging into my account on the Webroot website, my commands are not being recognized. The last successful scan on my computer was on 9/2/[redacted], despite having automatic daily scans before then. I am having difficulty uninstalling and reinstalling the software because of an error message requesting administrator access, which I already have. I uninstalled a VPN on 09/11/[redacted], hoping it would resolve the issue, but the problem persists. I am in need of assistance. Thank you, Ramona G.

The phone number you used to send the code is a landline. I am wondering if you have a record of my payment for the service. If you do, could you please reinstall Webroot on my desktop? If you cannot, please inform me so I can switch providers. I require you to reinstall the antivirus software. I am requesting for you to remotely install Webroot on my computer. I am seeking a personal response from you. I am asking for the activation of my antivirus program. I would like to receive the product that I have paid for. Please refrain from giving me evasive answers. Do you have enough information now?

I have uninstalled your product and installed a new antivirus. However, two processes remain, impacting my internet usage and causing high disk usage repeatedly. The interference affects both my new antivirus and the system process. This is hindering my experience with my new provider. I have already tried multiple removal tools, leaving me with the option to edit the registry or run a script. Before proceeding, I seek assistance. There seems to be a restriction on removing the browser plugin, allowing only Webroot to do so, and two processes persist. One is related to the firewall. I plan to contact support for further help tomorrow. Unfortunately, I may not locate the license key as I received this as a trial years ago via an email I no longer have. Nonetheless, I can provide identifying numbers that appear during the process inspection.

I accidentally ordered two duplicate copies of Webroot Anyware. After realizing my mistake, I filled out the online form for corrections. The online renewal process proceeded smoothly. Today, I received two discs by mail that I do not wish to be charged for. I would appreciate your assistance in removing the charges from my credit card and instructions on returning the unopened discs. Please advise me on how and where to send them. Thank you. - Paul R.

I am writing on behalf of Jean W. Sheffield, my 84-year-old mother-in-law. On 3/03/[redacted], she attempted to download Webroot on her computer three times due to her limited computer knowledge. Subsequently, to address this issue, I have arranged for her to have a Best Buy yearly service. However, she was charged $29.99 by Best Buy for Webroot download, which she mistakenly reported as an error. Despite her confusion, the charge was deemed legitimate by Best Buy. I kindly request a review of these charges since Mrs. Sheffield already has a Webroot account and the downloads on 3/03/22 were unintended due to her lack of understanding. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Cindy Sheffield, Daughter-in-Law of Jean W. Sheffield.

I recently renewed my account subscription online but have not received a renewal confirmation. I am unable to enter the renewal keycode for confirmation either. Despite renewing twice with my AMEX card in October and yesterday morning, I keep receiving requests for renewal. The keycode is 4817ONLNB79514AA47D4, and the account name is Belinda Petty. It seems there may be an issue as your emails still request payments. I would appreciate a prompt update on the status of my renewal. Kindly address this situation. Thank you.

I haven't been able to receive confirmation for my renewal from WEBROOT. All I receive from them is a request for renewal payment. If my renewals are not confirmed after two attempts, I doubt their ability to monitor my account effectively. I am on my third attempt to resolve this. Should I consider switching to another company for my online security and virus protection? Please advise. Email me at [redacted]

Upon signing into Outlook, I noticed over a hundred unread emails. The first one was an advertisement from Microsoft, which I attempted to delete. However, after deleting it, I can no longer see my new emails. Despite closing Outlook, shutting down, and restarting my computer, the issue persists. The ad reappears, and my emails remain hidden. I even opened the email, which offers a supposed upgrade to Microsoft [redacted] for $1.99 a month, but I am skeptical of its legitimacy. I have attempted to adjust settings in Outlook, with no success. Thankfully, I can still access my emails on my phone.

I recently renewed my subscription with you. Unfortunately, my old laptop stopped working, and I had to set up the software on my new laptop. However, the system is asking for a keycode that I don't have. My account number is CE23.2. This year I applied the email address [redacted], and I received the keycode WelcomeWebroot1! for that. Please contact me on my cell at [redacted] I would appreciate your assistance in providing the necessary keycode for my new device. Thank you.

I bought a MacBook Air from Best Buy that came with Webroot. Initially satisfied, but it kept prompting for "full disk access" during scans, so I uninstalled it from my iMac and plan to do the same on my MacBook. It's been off my computer for 2-3 years, but I've been unknowingly paying the renewal fee on my credit card as I don't have the key code or know how to contact you. Please assist in canceling this, as I would like to discontinue the service. The charge on my credit card statement shows Webroot yearly plan in Richfield, MN. Thank you.
