I am having trouble contacting the pharmacy to check on a prescription. This is frustrating. Walgreens and Rite Aid are the only pharmacies handling Medi-Cal prescriptions now, but it seems impossible to reach anyone by phone. It's disappointing that with the increased workload, they haven't hired more staff, making it hard to speak to a person or get prescriptions on time. I urgently need to know the status of a prescription for my disabled daughter, but I can't get through to Walgreens on Lone Tree Way in Brentwood, CA. Thank you, Walgreens. By the way, I've also stopped shopping in the store due to the poor pharmacy service.

My name is Evelyn Reyes. I visited your store on River Road in Bogota, BJ07603, to pick up my medication yesterday. The clerk asked the pharmacist if she had called my husband's insurance, to which she confirmed she did. However, when I called my insurance yesterday, they informed me that she had never contacted them. I am disappointed by the service provided by this pharmacist and feel disrespected. I pay for my medication and expect better treatment. As a result, I have decided to take my business elsewhere to a place like CVS where I am valued as a customer and treated with respect. It is unfortunate that you allow such behavior from your pharmacist to represent your store."

I am writing to share my experience with poor service in filling a prescription. I live in Deep River, CT. Yesterday, I brought a handwritten prescription for 30 pills, as I had left my medication at our Rhode Island home. Despite not receiving a call, I was unable to pick up the prescription due to work. This morning, I found out it wasn't filled because I wasn't due for a refill; again, no call. Frustrated, I confronted the pharmacist as I urgently needed the medication. Experiencing withdrawal symptoms, the pharmacist first quoted $[redacted], which was surprising. Eventually, I paid $14, as my doctor had mentioned it would be inexpensive. Is this the way you wish to treat your customers? The pharmacist mentioned she was just doing her job, but I believe her main task is filling prescriptions.

I have repeatedly requested at the pharmacy not to use numerous staples in my bags due to my delicate skin, but my pleas seem to be ignored. Despite offering to provide tape as an alternative, I was informed that it couldn't be accommodated. Additionally, I requested a call when my prescription arrived from an out-of-town doctor's office but never received one. The service at Walgreen on Bemvenue Road in Rocky Mount, NC has been deteriorating since Richard Nelson left, as the staff appear disinterested and are often too busy chatting instead of helping customers promptly. It's frustrating to wait an entire day for a common item due to their disorganization, and the lack of accountability is concerning. I believe that customers deserve respect and proper communication from pharmacy staff. I hope someone can address these issues promptly, as I am considering changing pharmacies.

I attempted to return a faulty portable charger at Walgreens but was told they no longer accept electronics returns, which I found to be untrue. The employee initially agreed to process my return but then consulted with another manager and denied it. My friend was able to make the return for me without any issue, suggesting a bias against me. I also tried to return a Bluetooth portable speaker marked as clearance, which they refused to accept. The following day, I returned to the store, and they processed the speaker return smoothly. It seems Walgreens may selectively choose when to accept returns, which I find unfair. Return policies should be applied uniformly based on factors like having a receipt and being within the timeframe, not on arbitrary decisions. Policies should be followed consistently regardless of personal feelings.

I encountered a challenging situation at Walgreens where I tried to use multiple coupons, but the cashier mishandled my transaction. Despite my attempts to clarify the process calmly, the cashier accused me of humiliating her in front of other customers. I requested a manager's assistance to resolve the matter, but the cashier's behavior was unprofessional and escalated the situation. I believe the employee's conduct was racially motivated and made me feel unsafe. This incident is the second such occurrence at this store, and I am concerned about the lack of appropriate response from the management to address these issues. As a new resident in the area with a husband who serves in the military, I feel disappointed and disrespected by the treatment received. I hope for a thorough investigation and action from the higher management to prevent similar incidents in the future.

There is significant concern among pharmacists regarding opioid medication for chronic pain. Personally, I am dealing with complex spine issues and looking for appropriate pain management options. I require generic extended-release morphine or oxycodone for my condition, with Norco 7.5 for breakthrough pain. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding between Walgreens pharmacy and my pain doctor has affected my access to medication. I am seeking assistance in identifying the individual responsible for the miscommunication to prevent such issues in the future. Thank you, Chris N.

I live in Dunedin, Florida, and I have been under pain management for over 20 years. My monthly prescription includes [redacted] 10mg methadone and [redacted] 15mg oxycontin, along with medications for high blood pressure and depression. Due to my chronic pain, my medical plan restricts me to filling my prescriptions at Walgreens. Unfortunately, the pharmacist at the Walgreens on Main Street and Keene Rd in Dunedin refused to fill my prescription, leading me to a smaller pharmacy where I had to pay over $[redacted]. As a 62-year-old who retired early because of my chronic pain on a fixed income, this situation is causing financial strain. I need these medications to function and live somewhat normally. While I comprehend the opioid epidemic, I feel unjustly penalized for legitimate medical needs. I am seeking advice on what options are available to me. It's important to note that I am not misusing medication but genuinely require them for a better quality of life.
Sincerely,
Carol M.

I am disappointed that I couldn't commend a staff member in time. It's hard to respond within 72 hours sometimes. To improve, you could extend the response window. I want to praise the manager at Duck Creek Walgreens in Bettendorf, Iowa [redacted], for helping me with printing photos on a poster. She was kind and patient. I believe her name is Caroline, and she is a valuable asset. Employees like her represent your company excellently. She has earned my photo business. I've been a loyal customer since [redacted] and also appreciate Belinda in the Pharmacy. She, a former student of mine, is always friendly and helpful.
Thank you,
Susan Castro

I visited the Walgreens on Glades Rd in Boca Raton, FL to collect 2 prescribed medications. Upon arrival, I was informed that only 1 prescription was ready despite both being called in together. The pharmacy technician, Marie, mentioned that there was no request for a refill of my Fycompa. This surprised me as I had requested it 2 days ago. To my dismay, I encountered another tech who rudely told me I was wasting their time, preventing me from obtaining my second medication.
I am seeking assistance from the corporate office to review the security footage to witness the behavior directed at me during the incident on Sat 7/28/18 between 4:05 pm and 4:20 pm. Despite my inquiries, neither of the pharmacy techs would disclose the name of the individual who treated me poorly. I was disrespected by this unidentified tech wearing dark brown hair with a blue tint.
This negative encounter has left me reconsidering my patronage at Walgreens. Such disrespectful treatment towards customers, especially individuals with special needs like myself, is unacceptable. I am disappointed in the lack of management on weekends and the subsequent delay in my prescription order.

I recently visited the Walgreens in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, located on Franklin Street near the University Mall. I frequent this store for its convenience and to purchase cigarettes. However, I had a troubling experience where a white female employee from the cosmetics department followed me around the store, making me feel uncomfortable. Despite deciding not to purchase a drink and placing it back on the shelf, she commented on my choice at the register, which I found intrusive. This employee, whom I do not know by name, appeared to be in her thirties with brown hair pulled back, wearing glasses, and having pale skin. Her behavior made me feel targeted as the only African-American in the store at the time. I am considering not returning to this Walgreens and would like to address this issue by filing a formal complaint. Thank you.

A few evenings ago, I bought 2 boxes of Senokot laxatives for my sister at Walgreens in Tupelo, MS. Unfortunately, without a receipt, I wanted to return the unopened products for store credit, as I've done before with no issues. Initially, the accommodating Caucasian male manager agreed to the return and credit, but when I returned from the restroom during the process, he was gone, and an unhelpful African American female associate took over and refused the return without a receipt. Despite being a regular customer who spends money on various items at the store, I was treated rudely and denied the store credit promised by the initial manager. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and peacefully. Thank you.

I am a Walgreens Balance Rewards Program member. I received an email and saw an ad in the flyer about purchasing 3 12-packs of Coke with my rewards card and internet coupon for $10. I went on the site, clipped the coupon, and went to Walgreens to buy it. However, the cashier said I didn't have the coupon. Even though I clipped it and it showed on my card, the coupon was not honored. Why was the clipped coupon not accepted by Walgreens? I didn't receive the offer advertised in the newspaper, which is disappointing.

I recently visited the Walgreens located at [redacted] Royal Palm Beach Blvd, Florida, after having issues at another Walgreens on Southern and Crestwood. At the first store, I faced difficulties loading my iPhone pictures onto the app, so I downloaded it to order prints. Despite not being able to use a coupon code due to app limitations, the manager John promised to apply the discount. After placing my order, I was informed that my photos were being printed. However, upon returning five hours later, I was told that the 4 x 6 prints were delayed until Tuesday because of a paper issue. This service delay was disappointing and frustrating.

I am Priscilla B., a loyal customer of Walgreens for over 15 years. I had an incident at the Walgreens in Tifton, Georgia while making a purchase. The cashier accidentally knocked a fan off the counter, causing the box to hit my toe, which is sensitive due to my diabetes. Despite the cashier apologizing and another employee checking on me, my toe became swollen and painful the next day. I contacted the store, spoke with the manager, and filed a complaint, which was submitted to Corporate. I am seeking compensation for my pain and suffering amounting to $[redacted]. Please reach me at [redacted]. I hope we can resolve this issue promptly. Looking forward to your response.

This is my second complaint. We are considering moving our business to another pharmacy due to the lack of response at this Walgreens. They allow long wait times at the drive-thru for filling prescriptions and are consistently understaffed. Currently, there is only one technician assisting the pharmacist, causing delays both at the drive-thru and the counter. If this situation doesn't improve by my next visit in a month, I will transfer my prescriptions. This is frustrating as other Walgreens locations provide much faster service. It seems like my concerns are not being taken seriously or addressed by the store manager, who appears indifferent. To validate this, search for Thorn Fountain, Colorado on Google and you'll find multiple complaints about this location.

I received notifications that my prescription is ready for pickup, but when I went to the pharmacy, they refused to give it to me, citing that I still had some remaining. This is frustrating because in the past, they have refilled my other scripts when I still had some left. The pharmacist could have approved it, especially since I got the "ready to pick up" message and recently refilled another medication early. Despite it not being a pain medication, the issue remains that my prescription is ready, and I'm here to collect it. The inconsistency is problematic. Shouldn't patients be allowed to refill their medications a week early, especially if insurance covers it? I am considering transferring all of my prescriptions elsewhere due to this ongoing issue.

I recently received an automated call saying my prescription was ready for pick-up. Upon contacting my local Walgreens to confirm, a female pharmacy technician assured me it was ready and the cost would be adjusted using a manufacturer discount card. However, when I went to collect the prescription, a different young female technician informed me it was not ready due to a timing issue. Despite the prior confirmation, she apologized repeatedly. Feeling frustrated by the miscommunication, I expressed my disappointment in the situation and was met with laughter from another technician. After seeking out assistant managers for assistance, I requested an apology for the ordeal and that the disrespectful technician be held accountable for their behavior. Despite the incident occurring at around 1:55 PM, I am still awaiting a response from the pharmacy staff regarding the matter.

I recently visited Walgreens in Chelsea, MA. Upon receiving a voicemail that my prescriptions were ready, I found out only one was filled while the others were pending verification. Despite waiting for over a week for one prescription and the other not even being filled, they were still not ready the next day. The pharmacy team asked if I had transferred from Rite Aid, a fact I had mentioned when I first started coming there over 2 months ago. They then requested that I remind them each time. It was an emotional experience dealing with antidepressant withdrawal at the counter. I suggested they simply put up a sign to inform the staff about Rite Aid transfers, as the computer system seemed outdated and caused confusion.

I need assistance with an urgent matter concerning the treatment I received from a newly hired pharmacist at the Walgreens I frequent. Following years of being a customer there, a young pharmacist added information to my file without my knowledge, and this data is now affecting my service at all Walgreens stores in Fort Myers. This sudden development has left me in a difficult situation as I rely on my medications. Your prompt help in resolving this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you, - P. Rickman
