I scheduled an appointment with Volvo in El Paso, TX for April 20th at 1:00 PM for a state inspection, oil change, and maintenance check. When I arrived at 1:00 PM, I was informed that the technicians had left, and the work would take hours to complete. Unable to wait, I had to leave. I am disappointed with Volvo for not keeping the appointment and would like them to address why this happened and how I can trust them in the future. Additionally, I had to go elsewhere and pay for the services even though my car is still under warranty. I contacted Volvo's customer care on April 20th but have not received a response.

I recently purchased a [redacted] S60 Volvo from Northtown dealership in Williamsville. Last March, I had to report an issue regarding my front left tire having a grinding noise when I turn right, which was related to the tone rings. The service experience took 3 weeks of back and forth, and the service rep even suggested letting the rings fall off, which was concerning for safety. Today, when I tried to schedule an appointment at 2pm, I was told the soonest availability is on August 3rd due to my past visit in March. The delay and lack of immediate attention to a known issue is disappointing. I'm worried about the safety of my vehicle and need help since the service seems to be prioritizing other customers over addressing my concerns promptly. I reached out to Customer Service but was informed they couldn't assist due to the backlog. Any support in expediting the evaluation of my car would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a [redacted].5 Volvo S80. I recently had the 70,[redacted] mile service done, and the dealership informed me of several issues:
1. They replaced the battery as it failed the test.
2. The engine required a coolant flush, which they performed.
3. The power steering needed flushing, so they addressed that as well.
4. They noticed the right side engine mount is sagging and will order bolts to fix it.
I am unsure if these issues are typical at 70,[redacted] miles and question the necessity of the engine mount replacement. I am concerned about potential bill padding and the quality of Volvo's engine mounts. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Dear forum members,

Check out their amazing Volvo XC60 model in the attached image.
I received a notification claiming I won $[redacted],[redacted].00 USD and a Volvo XC60 car from a mobile draw organized by Volvo Company. I was instructed to keep this information confidential until my award is processed. There is a form provided to fill out for payment verification.
I shared my concerns about a scam where I was asked for additional money after already paying [redacted],[redacted].00 Indian Rupees for delivery of my prize. The contact numbers and email addresses involved are +1 [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] I seek advice on how to handle this situation.

I recently purchased a used [redacted] Volvo S60 T5 and upgraded the headlights from Halogen to LED. I installed XenonPRO H9 High Beam and H11 Low Beam LEDs with error canceling CAN Bus to prevent flickering. However, I'm now receiving an error message stating, "Your vehicle needs repair: Light Malfunction." This message appears intermittently when the car is in park. Currently, I have error canceling attached to the high beams (H9) and none on the low beams (H11). When I tried attaching error canceling to the low beams, I received the error message multiple times whether the lights were on or off. The XenonPRO lights work well but the error is a concern. Is it possible to edit the car's internal software to prevent this error message? The OEM lights on the Volvo don't match the LED running lights and look cheap in comparison. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.
Thank you,
Bill D.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am seeking help regarding a defective spare part order from a Sweden dealership in Greece that was purchased in April [redacted] for my [redacted] Volvo [redacted] sedan. The part, a window button and cords, was acquired from Sarakakis dealership in Athens at a cost of $[redacted] euro, but it has failed again this year. Despite being advised to buy a new part and pay for replacement, I believe the issue stems from a faulty part. I kindly request Volvo's assistance in addressing this problem without additional charges.
I eagerly await your response.
Best Regards,
P.N.

I, Dr. Kattar from the USA, purchased a VOLVO X60 in India for charitable purposes from Volvo HYDERABAD. Unfortunately, the AC did not work properly for 4 years, and when it finally stopped, I took it to the workshop where they advised a complete AC replacement, which seemed suspicious to me. Despite contacting TALWAR VOLVO and SAKET at Talwar multiple times, my issue remains unresolved. It is disheartening that at only [redacted] km, the AC compressor is faulty. I have shared my experience on social media in Illinois to raise awareness. While Volvo cars are good, the dealerships need to maintain honesty in their dealings. I have had better experiences with Japanese cars and now considering legal action against SAKET TALWAR in Hyderabad. Dr. Divaker Kattar, MD, USA.

I have a [redacted] Volvo S60 that I purchased used from a Volvo dealer as a Volvo Certified Used Vehicle with around 30,[redacted] miles. The engine had to be rebuilt at 40,[redacted] miles and then replaced under the Extended Warranty at 60,[redacted] miles due to issues. Recently, the power steering failed, leading to a near collision. Despite Volvo's attempt to fix it, the problem reoccurred after one day. As an automotive engineer, I am concerned about the car's safety, especially with essential systems like steering and brakes failing. I believe Volvo should address this serious matter, even though New Hampshire does not have a Lemon Law. I am considering options as I no longer trust the vehicle's reliability and safety. The dealership involved is Volvo of Exeter in Exeter, NH, where all service records are available for verification.

I took my Volvo to the dealership in Mobile, Alabama, and they removed the fuse box cover and accused me of causing the damage. I brought it in for new spark plugs, fixing the tire pressure system, and checking the fuses because my passenger side low beams were out. I spent over $[redacted] and left my car on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., only getting it back on Thursday after 2 p.m. They provided me with a loaner vehicle and had me sign papers for responsibility. Despite the mismatched replacement cover in black, I insisted on getting the correct light cream-colored cover back. I feel mistreated based on my race and will take legal action if the issue is not resolved promptly. My Volvo C70 with around [redacted],[redacted] miles was taken to a Chevrolet dealership for repairs, adding to the frustration of the situation. I hope for a swift resolution to this matter.

After a deer collision damaged my [redacted] Volvo S80, I planned to repair it myself. The repairs included the front bumper, fender, hood, slam panel, and headlight assembly. The car sat in the garage until I acquired all the needed parts, which took about two weeks. Upon returning to work on it, I discovered the battery was dead. I used the key fob and key to access the car via the trunk, triggering the alarm without the siren sounding - only the taillights and headlights were flashing. After disconnecting the battery, charging it, and reinstalling it, I found that nothing worked except the interior lights and panic button. Any assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I am currently experiencing a serious issue with my vehicle and have requested a review of my service records for a potential buyback. I communicated with a representative named Paris who, in an email, denied my request without providing a proper explanation. When I asked to speak with the head of Customer Service, instead of getting a call back from them, Paris contacted me at 6 am to inform me that nothing could be done. She further declined my request to speak with someone else about the decision, insisting that she was the only point of contact available. This response is completely unacceptable to me, and I am adamant about speaking with a different representative. I even inquired about recording the call to document her unprofessional behavior, to which she refused citing that she had initiated the call. Feeling disrespected and ignored, I am considering taking action against Volvo if I am not given a chance to discuss my concern with a manager. Disappointed by this treatment as a lifetime Volvo customer, I am determined to seek a resolution.

Hello,
I bought my XC60 in November [redacted] and being a first-time Volvo owner, I've been very pleased with its performance and the service provided by Wynn Volvo in Jeffersonville, PA. Their professionalism is outstanding, and I would highly recommend them to my family, colleagues, and friends.
Recently, my vehicle's sunroof controls stopped working shortly after the warranty expired. Wynn Volvo managed to temporarily close the roof vent manually but had to disconnect the motor. They informed me that the entire motor needs replacement, costing $[redacted]. This news was concerning, but I need to have the repair done. I would like to share my disappointment about the sunroof motor issue and inquire if there's any possible solution since it seems like a common problem.
Best regards,
Maureen R.

Hello,
My BMW X3 lease is ending soon, and I am interested in exploring the new Volvo XC60 as my next vehicle. Due to health concerns, I prefer not to visit a dealership until I am vaccinated, which will be in the next 2-3 months. Could you please send me a brochure with the latest information about the Volvo XC60 to my address below?
Thank you,
Marty K.

P.S. I have a history of owning and enjoying Volvos back in the 1970s and 1980s when I lived in NY. I obtained them through Karp Volvo in Rockville Centre. Now residing in MA, I am looking forward to leasing a new vehicle in the next 3-4 months.
