I am writing to inform you that I have recently taken on the role of General Manager at Warehouse Bistro in Opelika, Alabama. We have reopened under new ownership while keeping the same name. Although we have gained ownership of the site on TripAdvisor, a customer has brought to our attention that the old menu is still showing, and we are unable to add the new menu. The prompt advises us to contact Locu to remove the old menu. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Locu attempting to resolve the issue, but as we are under new ownership, we lack the necessary email and password to access the account. I explained our situation, mentioning that the previous owner is entangled in legal matters and unwilling to provide the required details. We kindly request assistance in removing the outdated menu from TripAdvisor as it no longer reflects our current offerings.

Regarding booking reference BR[redacted]0, I made a reservation for a vacation home in Chesapeake Beach, VA. The homeowner requested a copy of my ID, which I promptly sent multiple times as an attachment in response to their email. However, during our conversation via the rental inbox, the owner unexpectedly stated that the reservation needed to be canceled. I inquired about the reason but received no response from them until late afternoon on November 26, [redacted]. Despite reaching out again, I did not receive any further communication or a full refund of $1,[redacted].50 as requested. This experience has been disappointing, and the lack of response from the owner has left me feeling frustrated. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you.

I made bookings for activities in Cairo with Tripadvisor and my flight to Cairo through Expedia. The airline changed the flight times, and although Expedia updated my itinerary, they did not reissue my flight ticket in time, causing my schedule to shift by a day. This led me to contact Tripadvisor to adjust my activity dates, which they were able to do partially. Upon arrival in Cairo, I was informed by Egyptian government officials that all tourism activities needed government approval. Consequently, I had to rebook my Expedia hotel with them and arrange activities through the government tourism office. Despite trying to reach out to Tripadvisor for a refund due to being unable to participate in any activities because of government regulations, I have not been successful in speaking with a representative. On the other hand, Expedia has refunded my booking considering the circumstances.

Dear TripAdvisor team, I am encountering a serious issue regarding our winter holiday booking BR[redacted]5-1. Initially, everything seemed fine - we paid with a credit card, received confirmation, and felt secure. However, we started getting emails from an unfamiliar "Safe Book TripAdvisor" address with indecipherable subjects, which we dismissed as spam or possibly a scam. Shortly after, we were informed that the owner had canceled our reservation and that a refund was initiated. After reaching out to the owner, we found out they did not cancel but were informed that we did. To resolve this, TripAdvisor requested sensitive information like a photo of my ID, a photo of me holding the ID, and a photo of my credit card through an unsecured Yahoo email. I declined due to security concerns, but TripAdvisor canceled our booking anyway. The lack of accountability, the misinformation, and the demand for private details have turned what was meant to be a pleasant holiday into a nightmare. I had a reservation for December 2. Unfortunately, due to unexpected surgery on November 6, I am still in recovery. Initially, I contacted management through the Trip Advisor website and was told that rescheduling would be possible at no extra cost, just to call back when I am ready. After determining an approximate recovery date, I reached out again. However, I was informed that because my booking was made through Trip Advisor and payment was processed by them, I must handle the rescheduling through Trip Advisor. Despite giving more than three weeks' notice to the "management," I am still listed for December 2 and still responsible. Feeling frustrated by the lack of clarity on responsibilities, especially as a first-time user of Trip Advisor, I hope this issue can be resolved promptly.

Our holiday in Torrevieja has been a nightmare due to the constant construction noise next door from 8 am to 6:30 pm. This has been going on for 6 days with 6 more to go. We were told the property was detached, but it's actually terraced. We've tried to find a flight home but couldn't at a reasonable price. Additionally, the banister came off in my hand, causing a fall, and the layout of the house is not safe, as my husband hits his head on the above bedroom floor. We feel let down by the lack of safety standards here compared to England. The noise is especially difficult for us in our 70s, as we don't usually go out much. - Maureen P.

I am the owner of a listed business on TripAdvisor, Blue Crane Farm in Dullstroom, South Africa. We recently dealt with a fraudulent review and reported it to TripAdvisor for removal. Unfortunately, we have not received any response from them regarding the issue. Despite our request to close our business listing, TripAdvisor has asked for verification of closure, which is not the case. We are experiencing a negative impact due to the fraudulent review that remains on our profile, causing harm to our business. We do not heavily rely on bookings from TripAdvisor, and the false review is affecting our reputation. The review falsely claims a security issue during a guest's stay, which we promptly addressed and found to be untrue. In August, while searching for hotels in Jasper, Canada on TripAdvisor for a booking from the 3rd to the 7th of June [redacted], I found a website called Hotel Quickly on the 8th of August. I used it to book my stay, and my credit card was charged in full. Recently, I received an email from Hotel Quickly stating that my reservation was cancelled. Despite trying to contact their customer service, I was unsuccessful. After emailing them, they only offered a credit voucher which I never received, and I couldn't book any hotels through Hotel Quickly. After researching Hotel Quickly online, I discovered that many other travelers have also faced issues with bookings through them, referred from TripAdvisor. I am disappointed with TripAdvisor for recommending such a company. How can this situation be resolved?

Hello, I made a booking on Tripadvisor for a day trip to the Atlas mountains scheduled for tomorrow, 12.12.[redacted]. The booking reference is BR-[redacted]04. I have paid for the trip, and it shows as confirmed. However, after contacting the tour organizer, Moroccan Artisans Tours, they informed me that they have no record of my booking for tomorrow. They suggested I reach out to Viator, but I have not received a response. Now, I am reaching out to address this disappointing situation. The Dancing Bears Hotel in East Glacier, Montana has been closed for two weeks. I wonder why reservations are still being accepted for this property. Additionally, there appears to be some strange association between my contact information and the management of both the Dancing Bears and Going Into the Sun properties in Browning, MT. Perhaps I am listed on your website as a contact person. Despite only being a former guest at Dancing Bears, I am now somehow linked to these establishments. During my stay, I noticed the management's absence and the lack of room maintenance. The sudden closure without notice after promising to open for the season was disappointing. Additionally, the phone number link on the website is not functional, making it difficult to reach out for any inquiries.

We traveled from Pennsylvania to Tennessee for our honeymoon, arriving late to our mountain cabin due to the long distance. The muddy conditions prevented us from driving up to the cabin, leading to a dangerous situation when our car started sliding down. We sought a refund to enjoy the remaining honeymoon days, but the person we booked from ignored our request and gave away our rental. Despite trying to drive up the next day, we did not receive a refund. We had to cut our honeymoon short and incurred additional costs for alternate lodging. We have been attempting to reach out to the person since leaving Tennessee without success.

A review of Zen Resort Bali was recently posted on Tripadvisor but was removed within five days for not meeting the guidelines. The review was resubmitted under a different name without being checked by Tripadvisor. Unfortunately, this new review contains a personal attack on the owner filled with hate speech and defamation. This behavior amounts to cyberbullying and TripAdvisor should take immediate action to address it. The impact of such a review extends beyond the resort business and affects the owner's reputation and well-being. It is crucial for TripAdvisor to either remove the entire review or edit out any parts related to the owner to prevent further harm. Can you please provide details on the actions that TripAdvisor will be taking urgently in this matter?

Hello! I am writing about my experience with a recent booking. I arrived at the given departure location, EI Rainforest [redacted] Road South, but no one was there. Despite trying to reach the company at [redacted], no one answered our calls. Upon reaching the jungle location as indicated on Google Maps and TripAdvisor, we found nobody there. Contacting the company revealed that we were 50 minutes away from the correct departure point, causing confusion as we followed the address given to us. I made a reservation for March [redacted] at a 5-star hotel in St. Moritz, Queenstown, New Zealand, expecting an air-conditioned room with beautiful lake garden views and onsite parking. However, after my family's disappointing experience at the hotel in December [redacted], I reached out to the hotel today, January 17, [redacted], and learned that only the 6th and 7th floors have air conditioning, while other rooms have fans with windows that don't open and limited parking options that cost $35 per day. The hotel couldn't guarantee an air-conditioned room with a nice view. I feel misled by the information on TripAdvisor, as it doesn't accurately reflect the hotel's offerings. I've stayed in many hotels around the world and never encountered such poor conditions.

I had reserved and paid for an apartment that was supposed to be 10 minutes from Times Square, but it turned out to be 25 minutes away, which was too far for my family of 10, including a 75-year-old and young children. I contacted the owner through Trip Advisor, and after some discussion, he agreed to refund the full booking amount. He requested me to click on "expecting a different refund" for the process. After canceling the reservation, I received an email from TripAdvisor stating they refunded me in full minus the booking fee of $[redacted] USD. I responded mentioning the agreement with the owner to refund the entire amount of $[redacted].78 (minus $[redacted]). It appears TripAdvisor is withholding $[redacted].78, which includes the $[redacted] I gave to the owner.
