I have an old Averatec [redacted] Series laptop running Windows XP. I rely on it for my financial program, which only works on Windows XP or older. However, recently my laptop keeps restarting right after booting up. I suspect it's a Windows XP software issue. I have some troubleshooting skills but lack expertise. I considered reinstalling the OS, but I don't have the installation disk, and system restore is not working. Any assistance on resolving this would be greatly valued. Thank you! -R. N.
