I received a call from someone claiming to be from Paypal, stating there was a transaction issue and suggesting using Wise to lock access to my phone to prevent unauthorized transactions. The caller transferred money to another account and attempted to refund it to me but failed. The person claimed to be an English-speaking Paypal representative from India.
The names of the incorrect accounts are: Zaenal abidin, Bennacer Nizar, Mst Kadbanu Begum.
Amounts involved: €[redacted], €[redacted], €[redacted].

I listed an item for sale on Facebook Marketplace, and the buyer insisted on using TransferWise for payment. Initially, I was asked to send an additional £[redacted] to process the transaction. My phone has been hacked, and my identity has been stolen. I have recently acquired a Wise card and started working with PeopleReady on September 17. I have been receiving messages from ADP and communications from Wise, even though I have not contacted either of them. My ex-husband is the one who stole my identity and hacked into my internet. He created an entity in my name, which I have no knowledge of, as I do not have a business or operate online. This situation has severely impacted my credit health, even though I do not possess a credit card besides the Wise card for payment. I did not sign up for any benefits, as I do not plan to stay in this job for long. The fraudulent activities are not associated with my social security number but an EIN, which I did not create. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue and would greatly appreciate any help.

On August 31, [redacted], I transferred [redacted] euros from my bank account. WISE informed me via email on 09/02/23 about an incoming transaction into their account. I provided the required address information for verification, which was successful. However, on 09/20/[redacted], WISE emailed to notify me that they had canceled and refunded my incoming transfer. Despite this, the support service has not replied to my request for a receipt for the return of the transaction. It has been 10 banking days since the cancellation, and the refund has not been processed. The support service is unresponsive to my inquiries, and the situation remains unresolved.

I received an email regarding this matter, stating that due to a technical problem, a refund was issued back to me for two transfers to PKR. It informs me that an amount of [redacted] AUD has been deducted from my payin for Transfer #[redacted]70. The email also mentions the need for an additional [redacted] AUD to complete the transfer.

Yesterday, I initiated a transfer to my son from Spain to the UK totaling £[redacted],[redacted], converted from euros. While the euro to sterling exchange rate was satisfactory compared to other providers, the additional cost of over [redacted] euros was excessive. Upon researching, I found that TorFx offers no extra charge for such transfers, with only a slight variation in the conversion rate.
I am shocked by the high fee your company charged. Even the local standard bank quotes a fee close to yours but with a slight difference of 50 euros. I have future transfers after selling my house and I am contemplating closing my account with you due to these exorbitant fees. It is disappointing that your company, which used to offer competitive rates, now imposes such high charges. Loyalty to one company seems unjustified in light of these comparisons.
