I am attempting to schedule a project for April 8. Today is March 24. The last available date currently open is April 7. Upon my initial attempt to schedule, this is the furthest date available. When proceeding to book after selecting a service provider, I am prompted once more to reserve a date. At this point, only today's date is accessible, with the only available time being 7:30 PM. Hesitant to confirm this last-minute appointment due to the proximity of the time and the concern of potential rescheduling fees if I need to change it to April 8, I opt to not book this slot now. The difficulty of seeking assistance through phone support or third-party services further contributes to my decision to delay booking.

I contacted TaskRabbit to schedule someone for installing my Ikea wall unit but needed it adjusted due to a ceiling cove. An Ikea rep advised using a 2x4 and wood strip. TaskRabbit (Steve, Matt) seemed to understand this, but Home Depot staff and the installer were unsure how to proceed. The installer suggested gluing/nailing wood strips, which I felt was not ideal. I canceled the installation and returned the unit. I'm unsure about the cancellation fee as I had communicated my needs with Steve. I'm seeking a refund of the $60 cancellation fee. I'll be returning the unit to Ikea today for a different one.

I am a customer of Ikea UK. I recently purchased a wardrobe along with other items. TaskRabbit was scheduled to assemble all the furniture on Wednesday, April 17th. Unfortunately, Ikea sent the wrong articles for the wardrobe, causing the Taskers to be unable to complete the assembly. Ikea has agreed to exchange the incorrect items. However, the Taskers charged me the full £[redacted] for the job as they were already on site. The wardrobe assembly was priced at £[redacted], which Ikea promised to refund once I provide an invoice. I am requesting an invoice with a detailed breakdown of all the work done, not just the total amount. This breakdown is needed to send to Ikea for the refund process. Please email me the invoice as soon as possible.

I recently scheduled my first task with "Chris" for TV mounting, but it ended up on the wrong date. When I tried to reschedule, it got canceled, and now I can't reconnect with the same person at $41.17 per hour. I then attempted to reschedule with a different tasker, Victor J, who charges more and needs a ladder, which I don't have, only a stepstool. However, when I tried to use the promo code for first-time users, it wouldn't accept it even though this is still my first task. How can I resolve these issues?

I have reached out to support multiple times but my concerns seem to be overlooked. I completed a task three weeks ago and I am awaiting payment which I urgently need for rent. I feel undervalued as a Tasker. Below is the email I sent on April 20th at 12:27am: I appreciate being reimbursed for the shoes, but what about the other expenses like tolls, gas, and the cost of hiring a babysitter while I completed the task? Despite doing an exceptional job that earned me a tip, Taskrabbit has failed to resolve the payment issue with the client. I now understand the importance of confirming details with you, and I will ensure to do so in the future to prevent any misunderstandings. However, it would be helpful if Taskrabbit could provide periodic reminders or updates on task guidelines to avoid such situations. This is my first shopping task, and I believe the consequence is overly severe given my otherwise flawless record with Taskrabbit.

I need help finding a reliable person to assemble my Mongstad Mirror and shelf from IKEA. I had two Taskers from TaskRabbit who were not able to help. The first had a back issue and the second was not professional in communication. I would appreciate it if someone could reach out to me via phone to assist with this task. Thank you.

Hello, I recently hired a TaskRabbit to re-grout a small area of tile where I had used the wrong color. Despite my initial reluctance, he convinced me to let him purchase materials from Home Depot. Unfortunately, the job was not done well as he used epoxy to glue a tile down and didn't remove enough grout for the new one to stick properly. There was also a thick grout haze left behind, and he overcharged me for hours worked and for a sealant he didn't even use. A contractor I consulted with confirmed that the job needs to be completely redone due to the use of epoxy, as it can cause tiles to crack. The Tasker's lack of expertise and transparency became evident, especially since he charged me double the amount the contractor quoted for the correct fix. I now need to address this issue and have the floor properly repaired.

Yesterday, I received a call from a man at 10:48 p.m. The caller ID showed the number +[redacted]4 as TaskRabbit. He requested my password and phone number for verification to add money to my account. Additionally, TaskRabbit contacted me offering a $[redacted] bonus, requesting the same information via text. I noticed a $[redacted] discrepancy from Bradley D. on May 13. TaskRabbit mistakenly used a different bank account than the one saved on my profile. This error has caused me significant financial stress as I have bills due soon. I am eagerly awaiting a resolution to this issue.

I had an issue with my assigned installer arriving late and changing the appointment time without proper communication. Despite providing my personal number, he only contacted me through the app. When he finally showed up, he left abruptly, and I had to ask him to return. He later asked me to cancel the order and mentioned charging me double even though I had the Ikea furniture ready for assembly. This situation is frustrating as I specifically requested help with Ikea furniture assembly and made sure it was available. I am perplexed by the installer's behavior and the sudden request for double the assembly rate. I have screenshots of our exchanges for reference.

Today, John F. visited my house from 2:10 PM to 2:25 PM. I needed help setting up a small portable dishwasher. Initially, he hesitated because it was dirty, but after I urged him to check if it works, he found it functional but with missing parts. He refused to change the rusted pipes under the sink, stating he couldn't do the task. No other tasks were completed. When I inquired about the cost upon his departure, he said I owed him for one hour, even though he was here for only about 15 minutes and the requested tasks were unfinished. When I questioned him, he responded dismissively, saying, "You wasted my time." Could you please clarify the amount I owe to Mr. John F?

I have requested furniture assembly for the Pax Closet system from Ikea. I was informed that the baseboards in our home need to be removed, which poses a challenge for us. Is it possible to install the closets without removing the baseboards? If not, could segments of baseboard of the same thickness be cut out for you to use when mounting your brackets at the top of the units, ensuring a consistent distance from the wall? I am keen to address this issue preemptively to prevent any obstacles during the assembly appointment due to the baseboard situation. Thank you, Marc G.

I have encountered an issue with overcharges from my TaskRabbit tasker. Initially, an overcharge occurred and I allowed the tasker to return to perform additional work to compensate for it. However, upon cancelling his return visit on my TaskRabbit account, I was mistakenly charged a cancellation fee on my credit card. I had to create another task just to communicate with the tasker, but despite cancelling that second task, I was still charged an extra fee. This is the second time I am reaching out to address this problem after receiving no response the first time. I currently have two incorrect charges on my credit card statement: - June 11: TaskRabbit $22.35 - June 11: Aircheck Mills River $23.27 I am requesting a reimbursement to my VISA account for both of these charges. I am unable to engage a Tasker for further work until this billing issue is resolved. Please feel free to reach out if more account details are necessary for these corrections.

After enlisting Mackenley on Saturday, 6/15/19, who was unable to assemble the IKEA PAX closets despite prior notification, I hired Wahidur on 6/16/19. Unfortunately, he also faced difficulties with the assembly, even causing damages. He recommended returning the $[redacted] worth of closets. Wahidur then proceeded to involve another TaskRabbit associate who claimed expertise in assembling such closets and charged an additional $[redacted] without fixing the damage. I am seeking refunds for the $[redacted] and $[redacted] charges due to services not rendered and the misleading information provided by TaskRabbit associates. I can provide additional information if needed. Thank you.

Gretchan was requested to clean various flat surfaces, vacuum, sweep, and mop. Upon returning home, only less than half of the tasks were completed within the 2.5 hours she spent cleaning. It seemed like she only did about an hour's worth of work during the claimed cleaning time. Cleaning Service Fri, Jun 28 $57.81 Location: [redacted] Iroquois Avenue Hi Gretchan, I've seen your impressive reviews and would like your help with organizing and cleaning my 1,[redacted] square foot, 3-bedroom/2-bathroom home. It needs organizing and general cleaning, about 2-3 hours per visit, 2-3 times a month. I'm flexible with scheduling. I have all the cleaning supplies. Looking forward to your response! Thank you, Brandon Date of Task: May 30, [redacted] Task Duration: 2-3 hours Total Charged: $57.81

I recently hired a TaskRabbit person for yard work, and they did an excellent job. They were supposed to return today, but there seems to be a communication issue as the tasker cannot be contacted through the website's chat feature. I attempted to rebook them, but it appears they are no longer accepting tasks, leading to confusion. Despite my efforts to reach out to customer support for help, they have been unresponsive. I am frustrated by the slow and ineffective service, especially since the tasker now thinks I have ignored them. This situation has left me feeling terrible because the tasker set aside time for me today, and now there is a misunderstanding that is preventing them from completing the job. The tasker's messages can only be responded to through the TaskRabbit site, and I have been unsuccessful in reaching them.

I have hired two taskers, Petros and Jason, to help with loading my items into a pod, but Jared G. wants me to cancel the task altogether, and I only want to remove him. I'm struggling to do this online. The task is scheduled for Tuesday, 7/23, at 10AM. I hope you can help me exclude Jared from the task without canceling the entire job.

The contractor, Nicholas Gable, whom we hired for yard work at our company's rental property (Intervestcom), did not complete the project despite charging $[redacted]. We insist on a full refund as we had to hire another professional to finish the job. Despite several rescheduled appointments, Mr. Gable failed to pull weeds and conduct necessary yard maintenance, claiming it could damage his equipment. Moreover, he did not take the required before and after photos. Upon inspection by our property manager, the site remained unchanged. Charging for incomplete services is unacceptable, and we expect a prompt refund.

Over the weekend in Chicago, I helped my son move. He reached out to TR for help removing a TV mount from his old apartment and installing it at the new place. The only available technicians were charging over $[redacted] per hour, which seemed excessive. When the technician arrived without a tape measure and ended up taking significantly longer than expected, the final cost ballooned to $[redacted]. This included an additional fee for "trust and support," which was confusing. We feel disappointed by the high expense of a simple task that we initially thought would only cost around $50. I'd appreciate the chance to discuss this issue with a manager. Thank you. Best, W.S. [redacted]

Hello TaskRabbit, I had scheduled an appointment with a handyman to fix our kitchen lights last Friday. However, on Sunday, our conversation was cut off while discussing the replacement solutions due to our unique fixtures. To allow for more time for the handyman to reply and for me to purchase the necessary parts, I decided to cancel the Tuesday morning task on Monday. To my surprise, on Tuesday morning at 9:57am, the handyman called me, stating he was at the front gate of our building, insisting the task was still active. He then billed me for one work hour. I am unsure of the situation but suspect it may be a technical issue on the app. I kindly request a refund and compensation for the handyman. Thank you, S.

I recently forgot to update my debit card information on my TaskRabbit account when I received a new card. TaskRabbit sent me an email stating that my account was suspended due to unsuccessful payment attempts. I owe $[redacted].12 for a task titled "Deep Clean" assigned to Jennifer A. I promptly updated my billing information as instructed and responded to the email. However, I received a reply stating that my email did not accept incoming mail. I just want to pay the outstanding bill with my updated debit card and then close my TaskRabbit account. Can you assist with this? Thank you.
