Subject: Recent Stay Experience at Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina
Hello,
I am Mr. Patrick Hurley. During our recent three-day stay at Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina with my wife Debbie before and after our cruise to Hawaii, we encountered some issues. Firstly, upon check-in, we faced difficulties as Holland American Cruise Lines only showed our prepaid arrangement for the check-in day but not for our return after the cruise. After numerous phone calls, the issue was resolved but seemed to have caused a system error. Secondly, I had prepaid an additional day after our return from Hawaii on a personal credit card, which the hotel had no record of. I had to retrieve my laptop to provide the confirmation number saved on it. During our stay from February 2nd to February 21st, we spent over $[redacted] on hotel and dining, and unfortunately, our room had several issues. Notably, the coffee dispenser holder was dirty, the balcony door had a broken roller, and both curtains were faulty. Upon contacting the manager via email, I received an apology and no further resolution. As this stay was part of our Anniversary trip, it was disheartening to face these challenges. We plan to return next March for another cruise and hope for a better experience with possible compensations.
