Southern Connecticut Gas Customer Service Issues

I am a SCG customer with a boiler contract. After an inspection in August, the representative confirmed proper functioning. However, after the boiler malfunctioned, the technician, who mentioned asbestos (which isn't present) and a slightly high carbon count, disconnected the heat, rendering my house uninhabitable. This action could lead to pipe damage. Despite the earlier positive inspection, the heat remains off. I seek advice on restoring heat as disconnecting it goes against professional standards. It is concerning to pay for services not rendered. Especially as I recently had surgery. Any support will be appreciated.

I received a disconnect notice from SCG with a bill over $[redacted]. Due to being hospitalized or staying with family after cancer surgery, my apartment has been unoccupied. The bill should only cover a maximum of 2 months as my last payment was over $[redacted] in May. I want to end service on 5/18 as I am relocating to NJ. Contacting customer service has been a challenge, enduring numerous ads when calling the listed number. Eventually, I was directed to a company unfamiliar with SCG and given another useless number. This experience is frustrating! I urgently need to speak with a helpful SCG customer service agent about this excessive bill. Immediate assistance is appreciated!
