I visited the location at [redacted] NW Military Hwy, Castle Hills, TX [redacted] on January 3rd, and I was assisted by Agent [redacted] Michael. I bought drinks and 16 $5.00 gift cards. The payment method caused issues as the cards were being activated individually. I ended up paying $55.00 in cash for the remaining cards. I left with 11 cards but without a receipt. When I realized not all cards were activated, I contacted the Manager who asked me to return. However, when I went back, Michael advised me to call the number on the back of the cards. After a delay, only one card was activated. Frustrated by the poor service, I informed Michael of my dissatisfaction and requested the cards back. Our company uses these gift cards for employee birthday gifts. If this matter isn't resolved promptly, we may consider taking our business elsewhere.

I visited Sonic Drive-In at approximately 9:20 or 9:30 pm CST tonight on University Drive in Fort Worth, Texas. When placing our order, we had difficulty hearing and understanding the employee through the muffled sound system, resulting in only half of our order being taken. After pressing the red button a second time, the same issue occurred, and when the order was brought out, we explained the situation to the staff member, who responded with attitude. We requested the second half of our order, but the service remained unfriendly. The encounter escalated when requesting condiments, and the staff member was unhelpful and rude. Ultimately, due to the poor service, we decided to cancel our order. The lack of professionalism and disrespectful behavior of the employees was extremely disappointing. Overall, the experience was unpleasant and the employees clearly need further training and management to improve customer service.

I visited Sonic Drive-In on University Drive in Fort Worth, Texas tonight. We had a frustrating experience with the employees who were unprofessional and rude. The first employee mumbled our order, leading to only half of it being placed. After two attempts, we still didn't receive our full order. The young lady who brought our food had a bad attitude when we asked for the rest of our order. She was dismissive and even refused to provide ketchup or dipping sauces. When I asked to cancel the second order, she followed me to the parking lot with aggressive behavior. Other customers also seemed unhappy with the service. The lack of professionalism and disrespect from the employees, including the employee with the microphone and the young woman with the yellow bandana, was unacceptable. I hope Sonic addresses this issue promptly.

On Tuesday, 10/13 at 8:50pm, I visited Sonic in Lantana, TX for a cheeseburger combo. Despite the menu showing $6.99, my total was $8.17 including a supposed 1/2 price discount. When discussing the overcharge with the manager, he confirmed the amount was correct without explanation. I suspect the Ocean Water drink may have caused the discrepancy, priced at $1.18 instead of a regular soft drink. If this is the reason, it should be made clear on the menu to avoid confusion and complaints. I contacted [redacted] via mailmw.custhelp.com and received a generic response shifting responsibility to franchise owners or management. I find this lack of accountability frustrating and believe this location should clarify their pricing to avoid accusations of false advertising.

Hello,
I had an unsettling experience at the Atoka, TN location involving a team member and the manager. During my order, I was repeatedly rushed and asked if I was done while trying to place it. Afterwards, I requested to speak with the manager. When the manager (gentleman with long black hair) eventually addressed my concern, his response came only after I had turned away. This is the worst customer service I have encountered at Sonic. Following the incident, the same manager and two employees were observed outside smoking and not attending to their duties. The lack of professionalism and service standards displayed are disappointing. I hope for better experiences at Sonic in the future.

I visited your store #[redacted] in Apple Valley on Tuesday, 9/7/21. I ordered the #5 Chicken club toaster, but the chicken was so tough that I couldn't eat it and ended up giving it to my dog. Unfortunately, by the time I got all the food paid for, everything was cold as we had to wait about 25-30 minutes at the window. They mentioned the computer went down, and after waiting longer, they didn't know when it would be back up and asked if I had cash. Thankfully, I had some or it would have been a problem. Overall, the meal was ruined due to the cold food and tough chicken. The drinks were good, but I don't plan on returning to eat there. I tried calling, but no one answered. I just wanted to share my dissatisfaction with the service and food. Thank you.

My 16-year-old daughter works at a local Sonic in OKC, Oklahoma. She was sent home after only being at work for less than 30 minutes because the manager on duty accused her of "talking negatively" about her, which is not true. When my daughter asked another employee why the manager seemed upset, her innocent question was misinterpreted, and she was immediately sent home without being given a chance to explain herself. I believe the manager, who is romantically involved with the supposed owner/general manager, is using her personal relationship to mistreat employees. As a parent, I refuse to accept this behavior. My daughter has worked hard for this store, even coming in on her days off, and I find this treatment completely unacceptable. Sonic should improve their management practices. I will make sure to spread the word so that others are aware of how employees are being mistreated at this location.

I'm having an issue with my pay and my checks. I started as a carhop and was supposed to be moved to the kitchen with the correct kitchen pay. However, I never got the changeover and was paid at the carhop rate instead. I have explained this problem to both managers, but I have only received two paychecks, both of which were incorrect. I worked from November 3 to December 3. I would like to ask if you could please address this issue promptly as I have worked hard and contributed to the company's earnings, yet I have not been compensated correctly. I was also dismissed by a young man who showed no respect for me, despite me raising these concerns with both managers. I am now without a job and awaiting a resolution and my outstanding pay. I visited the Sonic burger in Pahrump, Nevada, with my friends. We ordered shakes, hamburgers, a burrito, and waters. When we paid with a $[redacted] bill, the server said she couldn't break it. We offered to get change as there were places nearby like Albertsons, Walmart, and Dotty's Casino. The server went to check with the manager who rudely asked for the food back if we couldn't pay. Despite our willingness to get change, the manager insisted, so we returned the half-eaten food and shakes. The manager disposed of it right in front of us, showing utter unprofessionalism. We decided not to reorder due to the manager's attitude and appearance making us uncomfortable. We found another place to eat with better service at a lower price. This experience has put us off Sonic, and we'll inform others in the small town about our disappointing visit.

I am disappointed with my recent experience at the Sonic in Marietta, Oklahoma. I ordered three 5-piece chicken strip dinners, one with fries, a grilled cheese, and two small fries. When my husband returned, we were missing the grilled cheese, small fries, and gravy for the dinners. After contacting the store, they agreed to provide the missing items, but upon return, they insisted we pay extra for their mistake. The supposed "manager," Ricky, handled the situation poorly, confronting us and showing a lack of professionalism. We decided not to return to this location and will share our experience with others. Ricky's behavior was unprofessional, and I am considering if further action should be taken regarding his role at the restaurant.

I work for a company that regularly places orders. We attempted to order from the Sonic on Page Avenue at [redacted] in [redacted]. There is a young African man consistently at the window who behaves arrogantly and rudely. The parking spots are unavailable, so we only use the drive-thru, but he does not allow multiple orders. Today, on 2/21/[redacted], my orders were mixed up, and the drinks spilled as the lids were not secured. Despite requesting no mayo for a double bacon sandwich, it had mayo. I believe my orders should be replaced. I had online orders totaling $22.81, $15.02, and $11.42. This experience has been quite disappointing. Lunchtime should be stress-free. I am considering taking my business elsewhere if this issue is not resolved, and if the manager is not better trained to handle customers. My employees are also frustrated. After a long 12-hour shift, I decided to grab a meal from the Sonic drive-thru in London, Kentucky. I ordered a number one combo, but to my disappointment, they handed me a double burger instead. Upon returning, they forgot to include my hash browns. When I asked for the correct order, they refused to exchange the double burger for the combo. After multiple trips, I finally received my missing items, but I was advised they couldn't rectify the burger mistake. Feeling frustrated after the long ordeal and the back-and-forth driving, I insisted they dispose of the incorrect burger. It seemed unfair that they wouldn't replace the mistake they made with the sandwich.

I am Gabi, a devoted customer who frequents your restaurants nearly three times a week. Sonic has become my go-to spot for quick, reliable meals or refreshments while I run errands due to its proximity to my home. For the past six years, I have been enjoying your vanilla root beers 2-4 times a week from various locations nationwide. Throughout the years, I have witnessed menu changes, with some items being hits and others misses. Among the best limited-time offerings were the birthday cake milkshake and the Oreo/Cookie ice cream sandwiches. The birthday cake milkshake's brief return made my summers unforgettable. However, it is the Oreo/Cookie ice cream sandwiches that I am most passionate about. These treats were my daily reward after strenuous work shifts, and their absence is deeply felt. I implore the Sonic team to bring back the Oreo/Cookie ice cream sandwiches as they are truly heavenly. Please consider the return of this fan-favorite item.

I usually use the Sonic app 3-4 times a month. Despite my liking for Sonic, recently my tater tots were too salty to eat during my last two visits. Initially, I thought it was a mistake, but after it happened again, I'm quite disappointed. I always tip and treat the staff well, so I'm unsure why this happened. I believe in not complaining if it risks the food's quality. I am not seeking refunds or coupons; I just won't be returning to Sonic. It seems they may not be concerned since there is no complaint section on their app.

I ordered three of the "two for five" grilled cheese burgers and was given plain little hamburgers instead. Two out of the three burgers were just cheese and regular meat, resembling plain little hamburgers. Despite sending them back to the kitchen twice, the same bland hamburgers were returned in the same bag. On the third attempt, they added cheese to two burgers and made the third with lettuce, tomatoes, and onion, but all three still turned out as plain hamburgers. I have photos of what was advertised versus what we received. Additionally, I purchased a footlong chili dog that did not resemble the expected dish, and I have pictures to show. The M&M milkshake I ordered was missing the M&Ms as well.

I ordered four of the two-for-five menu items advertised as a Quarter Pounder with two patties, two cheese slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard on a TOASTED BUN. Unfortunately, the burger had a soggy, old bun, one patty, one cheese slice, and no toasting as promised. The Frito chili and cheese burritos we got were also disappointing; my tortilla was doughy, my son's was dry, and my family found theirs too salty. Additionally, the chips were soggy. Our order number is redacted and we were at Stall #7, tray T5, check #[redacted] in Kingman, AZ. I've been a long-time Sonic customer since my children were young, starting at the Casa Grande, AZ location, and now at 71, I am dissatisfied with the quality. I recently placed an order for two bacon double cheeseburger meals, one with large fries and the other with large onion rings. The burgers should have had mayo, no tomato on one, and both had mustard with jalapenos. My drinks were a vanilla ice cream and chopped banana mixture, Dr. Pepper with easy ice, and a cherry vanilla cream Dr. Pepper. Unfortunately, I received a Diet Coke and root beer instead. Additionally, my footlong coney meal with extra cheese, mayo, onions, and large fries with shredded cheese was missing. I would appreciate either receiving the correct items I paid for or a refund.

I visited the drive-through at [redacted] S Tamarac Pkwy Bldg 2, Denver, CO [redacted]. The staff member was rude, inconsiderate, and slow. They were talking backward and seemed disinterested. When I handed over my card, they didn't hand it back and I had to reach inside the window to retrieve it. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had, especially since I'm used to better service at Sonic back in Oklahoma.

I am an employee at the Sonic in Oxford, Alabama. I recently returned to work after being in a drug rehabilitation program, which was not court-ordered. I notified Sonic promptly of my return and was expecting my paycheck last Friday. However, upon visiting to collect my pay, I was informed that my check had been issued but could not be located at the store. It seems likely that they sent it to the rehab facility instead of holding it for me. I am unsure of the next steps to take in this situation.

On the morning of 8/10/[redacted] at 8:03 a.m., I visited SONIC where I encountered a delay in service. After waiting for the car in front of me for 7 minutes, I then waited an additional 10 minutes at the ordering station while the attendant seemed unresponsive. Despite my time constraints and honking for attention, the delay persisted, causing me to leave for work without being able to order breakfast or lunch.
