I signed up for a fourteen-day free trial on Skillshare on November 27, [redacted]. After the trial ended, I was billed $99 for an annual premium membership on December 11, [redacted]. Despite not using the service (as indicated by my empty course history), I was charged for a membership I did not use on January 6, [redacted]. I contacted Skillshare's customer service at [redacted] on January 6th and received a quick response the same day. Unfortunately, my refund request was denied, citing a seven-day window post-billing to request refunds. I proposed a pro-rated refund based on my eleven unused months, even at the monthly rate of $8.25 instead of the current $15. I am seeking a $84 refund for the unused portion of the premium membership, initially priced at $99 annually upon my subscription.

I intended to use the one-month free trial to evaluate the program, but I haven't had the opportunity to do so. I was charged for the annual plan without utilizing any of its features. I would appreciate a refund for the annual plan as I reached out to Skillshare's support team within an hour of the transaction appearing on my bank statement. I do plan to return to the platform in the future, but my current financial situation doesn't allow it. I apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope to engage with your products later on. Please respond to me at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your attention. Charge Date: 05/20/[redacted], 7:13 PM Last 4 digits of Debit Card: [redacted] Debit Card Expiry: 12/22 Transaction Amount: $[redacted].88

About a week ago, I signed up for the free one-month trial of Skillshare through another website. I entered my information and now I need to cancel it. My name is Donna L., my phone number is [redacted], and I used my debit card that has since been canceled due to unauthorized charges. The card ended in [redacted]. Could you please confirm if the trial can be canceled and provide me with verification? I would appreciate an email confirmation to ensure I am not charged. Thank you.

I attempted to cancel my membership through email, but Skillshare is unable to recognize my email address. It's possible that I used a different email when I signed up, but I cannot access it now. When I call, I receive a message to manage my account online, but I can't do so because my email is unrecognized, and I can't remember my password.

I signed up for the free trial and used it once. However, when I tried to use it a second time, the system prompted another free trial, which then charged me for a yearly subscription instead of monthly as I expected. I canceled immediately on July 3rd to seek a refund. The pending charge disappeared from my bank account after three days, but the funds were not returned. I contacted my bank, and they confirmed that a refund was initiated but not completed. The delay in receiving the refund is causing me financial strain with overdraft charges accumulating. It's urgent that this issue is resolved promptly. Please process my refund as soon as possible.

Dear Pearl Wilson, I recently cancelled my account after being charged for a year with Skillshare. It initially showed as pending in my bank account and remained pending for three days before disappearing. Upon contacting my bank, I was informed that Skillshare had refunded the money but I have not received it yet. I urgently need this money as Skillshare's deduction has caused overdraft charges in my account. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I discovered Skill Share through Youtube and thought it was $9.99 a month. Subsequently, I began a free trial and was unexpectedly charged for a full year after it ended. Unable to afford this, I investigated and learned I could cancel for a refund. Following the steps, I canceled on July 3, [redacted]. Skill Share initially refunded the money but it remained pending for 3 days and never processed. Upon contacting my bank, they informed me that Skill Share initiated the return but failed to complete the payment. This situation has caused significant stress, resulting in overdrawing my account by $[redacted].00 and affecting other payments. I urgently request Skill Share to rectify this issue by depositing the funds back into my account. My bank has agreed to waive the overdraft fees once the money is returned, leaving my account at a deficit of $[redacted].00 until the $[redacted].00 refund is received. As a single mother without child support, the remaining $49.00 is crucial for me. Thank you, Caroline C.

Dear Skillshare, I am reaching out regarding an issue with my recent subscription. After signing up through an email related to Patreon, I was not prompted to select a billing plan. To my surprise, I have been charged €[redacted] three times and €84 once, totaling €[redacted]. Initially, seven payment attempts were declined, but later four went through without my prior authorization. As a student, these unexpected charges have significantly impacted my finances and I kindly request a refund. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely,
