I previously owned a [redacted] series bed and it was wonderful. However, the latest [redacted] purchase of an ILE [redacted] Smart Bed has been disappointing. The lack of edge support and the 3" foam layer are not to our liking. I have kept the motor, air chambers, and controller from the [redacted] series. Is it possible to obtain the additional parts needed to reconstruct a [redacted] bed? Alternatively, can I remove the 3" foam layer and replace it with a ZIP ON pillow top instead? The current fix with diagonal corner elastic loops on the pillow top makes changing sheets quite challenging for my wife. Since returning from our seasonal home in MN last October, I have been experiencing back and neck spasms due to the unsatisfactory mattress setup. My wife is petite at 5'4 and [redacted]#, while I am of average height and weight at 5'8 and [redacted]#.

I previously owned a **** series bed that I loved. However, the transition to an ILE *** Smart Bed from Sleep Number was disappointing. The lack of edge support and the foam layer are unsatisfactory. I am considering rebuilding my old **** bed with its motor, air chambers, and controller. Alternatively, I am interested in removing the foam layer and adding a ZIP ON pillow top. The current fix sent by Sleep Number with diagonal corner elastic loops hinders changing sheets easily. The current mattress setup is causing back and neck pain since our return from Florida to Minnesota. My wife is *'* and ****, while I am *'* and ****.
