Reliant Energy Customer Service Issues

I have recently discovered an outstanding amount on my credit report from Reliant, a company I have been with for over 20 years. In November [redacted], I was reported to owe $[redacted], which is inaccurate. I distinctly remember speaking with a representative around that time and settling all outstanding bills over the phone. Following that conversation, I opened a new account at a different rate plan, set up monthly direct deposits, and paid my bills diligently. It is perplexing to me how a payment seems to have been missed despite my bank confirming four payments, including the one in question. Around a year ago, we had solar panels installed on our house with promises that our electric bill would decrease significantly. We switched from our Reliant plan to Solar Savings with hopes of further reducing our bill. Prior to the panels, our monthly bill ranged from $[redacted] to $[redacted]. Despite the panels and the new plan, our most recent bill was $[redacted].96. I'm unsure if there's an error on my part, an issue with the panels, or if we've been misled. I've reached out to Reliant and the solar panel company, but both are redirecting me back and forth for answers. Any guidance on how to address this situation would be greatly appreciated.
