On 4-24-[redacted], I found a note in my records indicating that no payment was due for my subscription. I planned to verify this but could not find the time. However, upon reviewing my checking account today, I noticed an unauthorized charge of $36.36 on 6/13/[redacted]. I did not approve this transaction as I do not usually pay this yearly fee. I would not have agreed to this charge without my consent. Therefore, I request that my subscription be canceled, and I be refunded the $36.36. I recently received information that I am a winner of $5,[redacted],[redacted]. I simply can't believe it - if it's true, this would be the happiest day of my entire life!
After speaking with David Gold over the phone, I completed and signed the necessary winner acknowledgment papers and wrote a check for nearly $10,[redacted]. However, upon arriving at the Fed-Ex office to send the documents, doubts surfaced about this being a potential scam. I received a notice stating that this is the final service for Reader's Digest. It advises that my service may be canceled if I don't respond by October 18th. I wish to confirm that I did respond to the renewal notice promptly in September by mail. My name is Debra Lejeune, and my account number is [redacted]. I mailed a check for $20.00 on September 4th. Please confirm receipt and ensure it was applied to my account correctly to avoid cancellation.

I noticed an unauthorized charge on my credit card from Reader's Digest, which I did not order. I suspect my mother-in-law may have placed the order using my computer. Can you please verify if there was an order under the name Margaret M. at [redacted] Oxbow Ct. Reno, NV [redacted]?
