I recently encountered scammers claiming to be from PCH calling my phone. They requested that I buy a $[redacted] gift card from Walgreens or CVS and then call them back. I delayed by saying I needed to take a shower, and they seemed surprised I wasn't already dressed. The person I spoke to identified himself as David Sawyers and gave the number 1-[redacted] to contact him. I was asked to keep the purchase private and tell them it was for my grandchildren. It's alarming as that was almost all the money I had for the month. I'm upset about the situation and want to alert others to prevent these scams. Thank you for helping us stop these fraudsters. I have received a second phone call from PCH informing me of a $5.5 million prize along with a new Mercedes Benz. The call was from Agent LM, named Andrew Goldberg, urging me to accept these prizes. I am curious if PCH notifies winners before their arrival, as I want to ensure the legitimacy of my interactions with them.
