Hello,
I recently visited the Primark store in Basildon and noticed some men's clothing on sale with red stickers indicating discounted prices. Despite the £5 sale sticker on the shorts, the system reflected the full price when scanned. I brought this to the attention of a staff member who consulted with a supervisor and later got the manager involved. Unfortunately, they claimed the prices were correct. As a regular customer who spends a significant amount annually at Primark stores, including in Basildon, I felt disappointed by the way the situation was handled. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly as customers deserve accurate pricing.
Thank you for addressing my concerns.

I am a staff member with staff number [redacted]. I have encountered two separate HR issues at Primark that I would like assistance in resolving. My attempts to address these matters have been hindered by Matt Hooper, ER Advisor at Primark, who states that the company will only engage with legal representation. This condition is unsatisfactory. Furthermore, my second concern was forwarded directly to CEO Paul Marchant, however, despite the company's assurance of responding within three days, I have yet to receive even an acknowledgment. I reached out to Mr. Marchant on 27.04.21 with no response.
I have worked at Primark Oxford Street East since its opening in [redacted] and am distressed by the treatment I am receiving from the HR Department. I request the following resolutions: 1. I need the contact details for Primark's Employee Insurers. 2. I am seeking a reply to my email to CEO Paul Marchant sent on 27.04.21.
Signed, Nasreen Jafry. 6.5.21.

I have experienced consistent sizing issues with your jeans over the past year. Despite buying identical pairs in the same size, some have turned out larger or smaller than others. Due to various circumstances, I couldn't address this earlier. Recently, I bought four new pairs for work, and they don't match the labeled sizes. I have previous pairs at home that differ in fit. I believe the jeans are faulty or mislabeled. I don't seek a refund but wish to exchange them for the correct size. According to consumer rights, an exchange is a reasonable request. I hope to avoid traveling 15 miles on my day off only to be redirected or told they can't assist in-store, especially when I need them for work urgently. I have the labels attached and can provide my bank statements as proof of purchase.

I would like to contact someone at the head office, but I have been unable to get through on the phone line 0[redacted] as it is constantly busy. During my visit to my local branch this morning, a staff member sneezed on me without wearing a mask. I requested him not to sneeze over me abruptly and inquired about the mask, to which he claimed exemption due to dust causing his sneezing. I found it hard to comprehend him properly and asked if he was a foreigner. I suggested he should go home if unwell. The situation escalated when the manager and two security personnel were involved. I expressed my concerns to the manager, who dismissively told me to report the incident. I was wrongly accused of racism, which is untrue as I am married to a foreigner myself. I felt unfairly treated and uncomfortable given the high virus rate in the area. It is unacceptable to be sneezed on by a staff member while shopping, and the manager's response and the involvement of security were inappropriate. I believe the staff member should not have been working that day, and the manager should have handled the situation more respectfully.

I need help with an exchange at Primark. I bought two items in different sizes; size 16 didn't fit, size 18 is perfect. Unfortunately, I can't locate the receipt. I'd like to swap the size 16 for another size 18. I tried filling out the customer query form, but I can't submit it. Despite accepting their cookies and data protection policies, I'm unable to send the form. Although I'm a loyal customer at our local Primark, their in-store policy states no receipt, no exchange.

I bought a set of period underwear that was advertised as a pack of 3. When I got home, I noticed one pair was missing. I went back to the Lakeside branch, but it was closed due to the Easter weekend. Since I can't go back today, I'm reaching out this way. I'm emailing to kindly request an exchange for a full pack of 3, as I paid £13 for this set and believe in good faith that the missing pair should be replaced. Thank you.

I bought lipstick and lip liner in a tin for $5.99 from the State St. store in Chicago. Unfortunately, the lip liner didn't work when I tried to use it. Despite explaining my situation to the staff at Primark, I was told they couldn't accept a return without the receipt. I usually don't keep receipts unless I haven't tried the item yet. The response from several associates and managers was very unpleasant because I didn't have the receipt and the product had been opened. I had to open it to try it out. One manager even read the receipt out loud to remind me of the return policy. I left feeling mistreated and even suspecting racism due to the majority of sales staff being black, while I am white. Disappointed by the whole experience.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope you are well. I am reaching out regarding an incident that occurred at Primark "Catalunya branch" on July 12th at 10:03 am. The cashier informed me of a technical issue resulting in a double charge of 22.50 euros. Despite being advised the amount would be refunded within 3 days, it has not been returned to my account. Unfortunately, I had to leave the country and was unable to address this sooner. I kindly request your assistance in reviewing the situation and refunding the duplicate charge. I have attached the ticket for your reference. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jala

I visited my local store on 12/11/22 to return an item. As I was leaving, I saw a jacket I liked, so I went back to buy it. After getting home and realizing it didn't suit me, I returned the jacket on 14/11/22 without the receipt. I spoke to the manager, explained the situation, and offered to show proof of purchase through my online banking. The manager checked the cameras, and after a 20-minute wait, he confirmed the purchase but refused to offer a refund. I was not seeking a refund but rather a gift card or an exchange, but the manager rudely insisted on only providing the same jacket in a different size, which I did not want. His behavior made me feel like a criminal, and I will not be shopping at that store again. I have been a loyal customer for years, as has my family, but I will be advising them to avoid shopping there in the future. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Antionette Elliott. I used to work at Primark in Center City. My daughter Jabrieka has been working there for almost two years. Unfortunately, she was recently fired by an unnamed Muslim employee. I have been trying to get in touch with someone at Primark to clarify if she was laid off or if there is a chance for her to return, but I haven't received a clear answer. The situation has been frustrating, especially because the store had promised to call later in the week but never did. I am reaching out because I urgently need Jabrieka's paystubs by Tuesday. Every time I have called, I have had trouble getting through to Rochelle, the Muslim girl, or anyone who could help. I understand that I may have come across as upset during my calls, and for that, I apologize. I want to resolve this issue promptly, so if someone like Martha, Rochelle, or the Muslim lady can assist us in obtaining Jabrieka's paystubs as soon as possible, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently made a purchase of 4 joggers and a coat totaling $66.05 on 1/26/23. The items are too big and I need to return them for a refund or exchange. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency (my sister's sudden death and funeral), I had to leave the country and couldn't return the items within the 28-day timeframe. I returned a few hours ago and am wondering if I will be entitled to an exchange or refund, or if I will lose some or all of the proceeds. I would like to know how situations like these are usually handled. I hope you can clarify if I will receive a refund or be able to exchange the items. Thank you for your help.
Regards,
M. Tasher

I purchased a Soft Shell 2-Wheel Suitcase for £16 on February 4 at Primark on King Street in London W6. Just two days later, the zipper broke. I previously spoke with Primark customer service, who assured me that I could exchange the suitcase even without the receipt. However, when I went to the store today, the manager accused me of wear and tear and refused to exchange it. I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated. I have left the faulty suitcase at Primark on King Street in London today at 4:30pm and am requesting a refund of £16.

I have been trying to call the Telford branch for an hour now, as has my daughter. Unfortunately, we have had no luck reaching anyone. My daughter, Chelsea W., has an interview scheduled for 4:30 pm today. However, there has been a last-minute issue with a sixth form production at 5:30 pm, where she needs to step in as the main character due to someone pulling out. She is torn between the interview she is excited about and not letting down the school, students, and parents. It would mean a lot if the interview could be rescheduled. Alternatively, could someone please confirm receipt of this message so she knows her situation has been communicated? Thank you. Danielle
