On June 20th, [redacted] at 2:15 PM, my drive-thru order from Popeyes Chicken on East Market Street in Leesburg, VA included 2 shrimp platters: one with mashed potatoes, no gravy, and coleslaw, the other with mashed potatoes, no gravy, and green beans. I requested no biscuits but received them anyway. I also ordered 1 large diet coke with extra ice and 2 hot apple pies, which were missing. I was informed I couldn't decline a drink for the second platter and had to take 2 diet cokes. Despite requesting extra cocktail sauce and being told none was available due to a late delivery, the lack of a common condiment should have been disclosed. The shrimp quality was poor, mostly breading, and the staff's attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. I am disappointed and ask for a full refund as my previous attempts to address these issues with management have been futile.

I want to share my recent experience at the Edmond, Oklahoma location. The customer service was the worst I have ever encountered! I waited for 15 minutes at the drive-thru, ordered two meals, and then waited an additional 45 minutes for my fries. Despite being asked to pull up, three cars were served before me, showing a lack of efficiency. Even after honking for 5-10 minutes, it took a while for my food to arrive, and the staff member argued with me about the delay. When I requested a refund, the manager insisted I return the food first, which I refused due to health concerns. The manager's attitude was awful and she held onto my card, making inappropriate comments. This location consistently disappoints in management, speed, and overall customer service. Though I like the food, this experience has deterred me from returning. The restaurant can be reached at [redacted].

I was disappointed by the service I received when ordering a 16-piece chicken meal. I waited for nearly an hour at the drive-thru before being told by a staff member that they were "lazy." When I got home, hungry and eager to eat, I discovered that the box only contained one breast, which is my favorite part. Upon returning to the restaurant, I was informed that I could only have three breasts. The box ultimately contained 8 thighs, 5 legs, 3 wings, and 1 breast. I tried to contact the restaurant to address the issue, but there was no answer. I am frustrated by this experience and have not eaten the chicken as a result.

We visited the Popeyes in Perris, California on 4th Street and had a terrible experience with our meal.
1. The order was incorrect.
2. Instead of a 3-piece meal, we received 2 orders of old chicken strips. They were dry and inedible, resembling shoe leather.
3. The beans and rice were disappointing, with one container having barely any beans and the other being like bean paste.
4. The popcorn shrimp was lukewarm and soggy.
5. The biscuits were cold and hard.
6. We were charged for a large side of beans and rice but did not receive it.
Although we usually enjoy Popeyes, this meal was the worst we have ever had. The manager at this location should be checked on, as our experience was horrible and indescribably bad.

During my nearly year-long tenure at Popeyes, my experience was extraordinarily unpleasant to say the least. The management at the Dunn Ave location in Jacksonville FL was subpar. There were serious allegations of inappropriate behavior involving the general manager, resulting in employees being taken advantage of. Furthermore, a shift manager bullied me and engaged in theft on camera without facing any consequences. The work environment was strenuous, with employees being overworked in extreme temperatures and unfairly underpaid. Employees were sent home prematurely based on personal biases, and threats of termination were unjustly frequent. The company also allegedly sold spoiled food to customers, disregarding complaints and violating health and safety codes. The situation at this particular Popeyes location is concerning and unacceptable.

Hello, I have been a loyal customer of Popeyes for a long time. I recently visited the Port Allen, LA location on Lobdell Hwy and ordered the 14-piece mixed chicken meal with 2 large sides and 7 biscuits for $21.99. Unfortunately, upon reaching home, I was disappointed with what I received. I noticed I only got 12 pieces of chicken (10 breasts, 1 leg, and 1 wing), 5 biscuits, and cajun rice instead of red beans. I live about 40 minutes away but always stop by when I pass by. I didn't call the store and decided to speak with the manager in person a couple of days later. However, the manager was unhelpful and suggested I call the store the next day for complaints. I feel this situation was unfair as my family prefers legs and thighs, while I eat breasts. As a result, some of us had to go out late to find something else to eat. I believe this issue needs to be addressed and resolved.

Since the Popeyes on Parkhurst Road in Chelmsford, MA opened, we've had numerous issues. Our orders are wrong 99% of the time, usually missing chicken or receiving mild instead of spicy. The shop is often unprepared and customers wait over 15 minutes. Today was the final straw when my boyfriend and I got the wrong meal despite confirming it twice. I always have to double-check my order. Other Popeyes locations across the East Coast haven't made mistakes like this. I hope this issue at the Chelmsford location can be resolved as I'm not alone in experiencing these problems.
Thank you,
Rachana

I recently ordered shrimp and fish #11 from your menu in-store. The picture on the menu looked appealing, but when my husband brought it to our table, the shrimp were overcooked and much smaller than expected. The fish fillets were only two and a half inches long and extremely greasy. For the price of $7, the portions were disappointing. The advertisement was clearly misleading. I had to return the food and requested a refund from the manager on duty, who mentioned this issue had persisted for seven years and was beyond their control. I will not be returning to your establishment after this experience. Negative feedback spreads quickly, and I have a substantial social circle. I hope improvements are made soon.

I want to express my frustration with the consistent mistakes made at this store. Repeatedly encountering food shortages, like running out of chicken, or facing excessive wait times is unacceptable. During my recent visit, not only was chicken unavailable, but a drink I ordered also ran out. The staff's attitude when handling missing items from my order was disrespectful, leading to a heated exchange that almost turned physical. Additionally, a few weeks ago, I was served undercooked chicken. This store's operations need serious attention. Requesting a manager to be present consistently, ensuring proper product availability, and conducting employee retraining are necessary steps to prevent further issues. I believe resolving these issues promptly is crucial. Offering a discount on future orders as compensation for the inconvenience caused by these recurring problems would be appreciated. It's disheartening that such issues have persisted, tarnishing the store's reputation in town. Efforts to rectify and improve the service are urgently needed.

I am a truck driver who frequents the Howe service plaza in Indiana off I-80/90. During one of my recent stops, I encountered a disappointing situation. While trying to grab a meal, the employees abruptly closed the counter, even with customers waiting in line. Despite our hunger, they refused to serve us, going as far as suggesting we eat from the dumpster. The way we were treated was disrespectful and rude. It was completely uncalled for. One of the employees even insinuated that I was homeless due to my hunger. This behavior was offensive and insulting, and it left me feeling disrespected.

My experience at Popeye's # [redacted] in Zephyrhills, Fl, was disappointing. I ordered 2 of the $10 big boxes at the drive-thru but only received one complete box and another with just 4 biscuits. Missing were 4 pieces of chicken, 5 sides, and 3 apple pies. Attempted to contact the restaurant by phone and online but encountered difficulties. The chicken I did receive was dry and chewy. I am simply seeking a refund of $21.40 and an apology for the inconvenience. Given the distance and trouble, returning isn't feasible.

Yesterday, at the drive-thru, I informed the attendant about my coupon for a 14-piece meal with 2 large sides and 7 biscuits for $22.99, specifying that I wanted Spicy chicken only. Despite being told there was no more Spicy chicken available, I agreed to pull around. However, upon reaching home, I discovered that there were only 10 pieces in the box and they were not Spicy as requested. I have been trying to contact a manager since yesterday evening and today but have been unsuccessful as the phone line seems constantly busy or unanswered. I feel disappointed as I believe they deceived me by not providing the correct order.

I visited the Crest Hill, IL location. Waited in line for 30 minutes, entered to find a chaotic scene with scarce chicken, employees not working, and a general mess. Customers were being told it would be a 15-minute wait, but no food was being prepared. A dispute arose when a customer complained after waiting longer. The cashier's response was confrontational, leading to police being called. I chose not to eat there due to the conditions and witnessed poor treatment of customers. The situation was unacceptable; I work in customer service and know better. Documented the scene with photos showing the lack of staff working and the unsanitary conditions. Rest assured, the customers' experience was highly unsatisfactory.

I recently visited the Popeyes on Sherwood Forest Blvd in Baton Rouge, LA and had an incredibly disappointing experience. After placing my order, I was asked to pull up and wait for my food to be brought out. Unfortunately, the wait was excessively long, and after 35 minutes, I was frustrated. Upon going inside to inquire about my order, I was met by an employee with a cigarette in their mouth. Eventually, I was given my food after even more waiting. Witnessing the lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service left me shocked and disgusted. Despite my dissatisfaction, I ended up taking the food as my family wanted Popeyes and I was too tired to cook. If it weren't for that, I would have requested a refund and taken my business elsewhere. This experience has truly made me question the company's standards.

On June 30th around 8:47pm, I, Michelle S., used my card ending in [redacted] at a restaurant on Wilkinson Blvd in Charlotte, NC [redacted]. I ordered a 2-piece dark spicy meal with red beans and rice, and a raspberry Hi-C. When I reached the second window, they asked for my receipt back, which confused me because they hadn't given it to me. When I got home during a thunderstorm, I found my food overcooked with a charred taste, even my biscuit was burnt. I feel suspicious about why they took my receipt back, possibly for something dishonest. This was a first for me, and as a rare fast-food eater, it disappointed me. Given the fast-approaching storm, I opted for Popeyes, although in hindsight, I should have chosen Church's Chicken across the street. I apologize for venting, but I couldn't do so at the restaurant without my receipt. Thank you for understanding.

Hello, my name is Ebony Allen, and I have recently started working at Popeyes in Charlotte, NC (South Blvd) about a month ago. Throughout my time there, I have performed well with no write-ups, warnings, or any issues that would jeopardize my job. I take pride in being a dedicated employee, always showing up and receiving positive feedback from customers. While working, I have been greeted warmly by the management team, including Mrs. Dawn, Mrs. Yolanda, Mrs. Cherri, and Miss Michelle. However, on June 24th, [redacted], I was unexpectedly asked to leave the premises for checking my phone for the time by Chief of Operations, Miss Tasha, during a busy period of adjusting to a new system. The whole situation was chaotic and unorganized, with customers and employees feeling the pressure. Despite my dedication and eagerness to work, I was terminated on June 25th or 26th, [redacted], which I found unfair given my commitment and work ethic. I hope that with further investigation, it can be shown that I always prioritize work over personal distractions and strive to meet the demands of fast-food service without fail. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Ebony A

This is the third time we've had issues at Popeyes. Initially, we were given all dark meat, no white meat, and no fries. Called the restaurant and were told to return for white meat, which they then said they didn't have. The same happened twice more on subsequent visits. It's frustrating that they never have white meat, always during dinner hours. As a small town, we were anticipating Popeyes, but they consistently mess up orders. The location in the neighboring town is great, but our Popeyes is lacking. They should consider additional training. This feedback is for the Middleburg, Florida Popeyes. Thank you for your attention. - Tracy D.

On 6/30/18, I visited the [redacted] S Grand Ave, Spfld, IL location. I found the tables to be dirty. Unfortunately, they were out of red beans & rice, but my husband managed to order something. The food took over half an hour to arrive, while people who came in after me got red beans & rice before we did. On 7/1/19, I was back in Spfld at 10:40 with a desire to dine at Popeyes. However, despite seeing two people in the drive-thru and two waiting at the door, no one came to open it. We decided to leave. It's a shame we don't have a Popeyes in Lincoln, IL, as we really enjoy their food. There was another customer behaving inappropriate and being loud using foul language. It appeared there was no supervisor present, and the staff seemed overwhelmed.

My husband visited your Fort Worth, TX, South Freeway location last Sunday around 8 p.m. and ordered eight mild legs for our kids as part of a $40 order. Unfortunately, he was informed that there were not enough mild legs available and they couldn't fry more until the existing mild thighs were sold. He settled for four legs instead. Although he rarely complains, he felt ignored and came home bothered by the experience. I am curious if this is the official Popeyes policy. If not, I believe the employees should be reprimanded, and we should receive compensation for the inconvenience. It seems like the staff was lazy and didn't prioritize customer satisfaction, which is disappointing.

Store [redacted] came close to running out of mild chicken by 7:30 p.m. on July 2nd, [redacted]. The employees handled the situation well. It appears there might be a chicken shortage, but it's suggested that the store should never run out of any chicken. Increasing the store's square footage by [redacted] sq. ft. might help the employees' efficiency. Having more Popeyes locations per county and a visible menu sign indicating unavailable items could be beneficial. It's disappointing to run out of chicken on a Tuesday at the beginning of the month. Perhaps offering the employees a bonus of at least $[redacted] for their hard work and addressing the responsible individual for the shortage would be appropriate. The recent improvement in employee quality is commendable compared to the past. There should be no excuse for running out of any chicken pieces.
