My family and I spent the day working at our family cattle ranch in American Canyon, CA. I didn’t have time to eat all day, so when my daughter suggested Popeye’s, I said, “sure, okay”. We drove to Vallejo, CA, from our ranch in American Canyon, CA, to store #[redacted] on Sonoma Blvd. Our order was #[redacted] at 8:02 PM on 5/12/18. The cashier, Ileana, #[redacted], was very polite and a good fit for the busy drive-through window. Despite Popeye’s being the only franchise in our area, we placed our order at the drive-through and listened to the employee read it back correctly. When we received our food at the window, it all looked okay. However, upon returning home, we realized they had given us soggy french fries instead of the red beans and rice we ordered. Despite the distance, Popeye’s food is usually good. I tried calling the restaurant to inform them but nobody answered. I’m too tired to return now, but I hope they will make up for the mistake on our next visit. The total cost of our meal for three people was $31.49. I will likely not drive to Vallejo for food there again. Thank you, DM McCann.

On May 26th around 9:50 at the Popeyes on Grand St in St. Louis, MO, I purchased an 8-piece meal. After feeding my children and mother, I found one of the chicken breasts was raw with blood. When I tried to return the meal for a refund, the shift manager refused, citing missing pieces. Despite explaining the situation, she insisted I couldn't be reimbursed the $14. The manager, Mary, was called, and she also declined the refund due to the late hour. When I expressed concerns about eating raw chicken, she offered more chicken pieces or a replacement meal the next day. After mentioning contacting corporate, Mary agreed to refund the money, but the box with the tainted chicken had already been discarded.

On June 2, [redacted], I visited Popeyes at the intersection of Good Hope and 76th Street in Milwaukee, WI. I spent over 10 minutes waiting in the drive-thru line with four cars before learning that the speaker was not working. Inside, only five employees were working, struggling to manage orders and seemed exhausted, expressing a need to go home. The lobby was dirty, filled with leftover trays, food boxes, and an overflowing trash container. The lack of ice in the ice maker was noticeable. The area behind the counter appeared messy, with a pile of garbage left on the floor. There was one person at the register and another preparing orders while approximately 30 customers were waiting in line, causing some to leave without being served. This entire experience unfolded within 45 minutes. I hope improvements can be made to enhance the service quality and reduce the wait time for customers.

I am disappointed with the Popeyes/Coca-Cola [redacted] Grand in Your Hand Sweepstakes. Although I won a $5 Visa gift card on February 1, [redacted], and a $10 Visa gift card a week later, I have not received either. After contacting the company, I was informed they should have been received by June 4, [redacted]. As a loyal Popeyes customer, I would like to request $15 in Popeyes gift certificates as a settlement since the Visa gift cards seem to be lost. If this issue is not resolved, I am considering not continuing my patronage at Popeyes. I frequent the establishment often, spending a significant amount each month. Recently, a friend recommended Popeyes chicken, so I decided to try it. I ordered a 5-piece mixed meal with 2 biscuits and 2 sides to go. When I got home, I was disappointed as the chicken pieces were small and tough. Two wings were especially unappetizing. I contacted the restaurant and asked for a replacement. While the manager agreed to replace the chicken, the sides were missing, and the coleslaw was cold. This experience at the Grandview Missouri location was unsatisfactory, and I believe my order should have been replaced at no cost with hot food. The customer service, especially from Jordan, was not helpful or pleasant. It was also frustrating to see other employees leaving with their own meals. I won't be returning to this Popeyes location again.

My visit to Popeyes on Bessemer in Greensboro was extremely disappointing. I ordered a 10-piece meal with mashed potatoes and gravy, red beans and rice, a 5-piece meal with onion rings, corn, and 2 apple pies, along with 10 drinks. However, upon receiving my order, I noticed that I was missing the mashed potatoes and red beans and rice which I was craving, especially since I am expecting. I spoke to the manager, Taz, who asked for my ticket number (77) and requested me to return to the store. When I went back with my receipt, I explained the missing items again. To my dismay, the manager insisted that I had received what I ordered, which was not the case given the large order for myself and 8 children. It was frustrating to find only two small portions of red beans and rice in the box. This whole experience left me feeling unsatisfied, especially considering the amount I spent and the distance traveled for the meal.

I visited Popeyes at [redacted] Chestnut St in Philadelphia, PA [redacted]. The restaurant was dirty, and the customer service was terrible. When my husband and I went to order, he requested BBQ sauce with his chicken tenders, but the employee at the register didn't give him any. When I asked, she gave me just one packet and was rude about it. I noticed she gave another customer plenty of sauce. When I requested more, she rudely said it would cost 27 cents. This happened on 7/18/18 at 4 p.m. Her behavior upset us, and we felt embarrassed in front of the other customers.

I, Tiona, a young African American woman, visited the Popeyes Location on Bergen Ave in Jersey City, NJ. I have encountered a familiar young female employee during previous visits. On July 21 at 8:30 pm, amidst pouring rain, I attempted to place an order using a receipt with a survey code. However, I was rudely informed by the staff that I needed an additional receipt since I paid by debit card. The exchange became increasingly unpleasant as I was refused service and faced disrespectful behavior, even being racially targeted. The experience was humiliating, especially given the weather conditions and my efforts to be timely. I am deeply hurt by this encounter and seek acknowledgment of the incident. I recently moved to Kent, WA a few months ago and visited the Popeyes on East James in Kent. A month ago, I ordered through the drive-thru and received 2 meals but the extra side of biscuits was missing. A few weeks later, I didn't get my large side of rice and beans or butter/honey that I asked for. Last night, my husband ordered 2 piece dinners without a leg or wing, but was charged extra. They gave us only 1 butter for 2 biscuits, and claimed to be out of biscuits. When we got home, we found no biscuits and the portions were very small. The employees were unfriendly and rude. I usually visit the Tacoma location on 72nd street and it's much better. I've had multiple wrong orders at the Kent location and have lost $15 on food we never received. The repeated mistakes and poor service have left me disappointed. I'm done with Popeyes in Kent.

I am a regular customer at the Popeye’s in Cedar Hill, Tx. On August 4th, around 7:00-7:30, I fell outside the restaurant after getting my order. I was badly bruised and bleeding on both knees, with black and blue bruises on my legs. My left big toe nail was bleeding and had to be surgically removed. When I went back inside for help, the manager was rude and unhelpful. She only offered alcohol and neosporin. She didn't show concern or offer any assistance. The staff replaced my order but was indifferent to my condition. I tried to contact the store's manager but got no help. I am still in pain and have difficulty walking due to my injuries. It's disappointing how I was treated, and I will need to see a doctor for ongoing issues with my knees and foot.

I visited store #[redacted] on Elam Rd in Balch Springs, Tx and ordered a 10 piece mixed meal with 2 large family sides. I also added another large side, bringing my total to $27.05. Unfortunately, when I got home and opened the box, I found that out of the 10 pieces of chicken, 6 were wings. I had to wait for 10 minutes for this order and ended up with mostly wings, which was disappointing. This isn't the first time this has happened at this store, and last time the store manager didn't seem concerned about my complaint. My sale # is [redacted]20, and the employee number is 33, on Mon. Sept. 3, [redacted], at 9:13:38 pm. I am requesting a refund or a replacement for my order, but I am hesitant to get it from this store due to the repeated issues.

I received an incorrect order from Popeye’s #[redacted] in Smyrna, GA. When I called to explain, the clerk was argumentative and blamed me for the mistake. The manager and cashier were also rude and demanded more money. Additionally, I did not receive any napkins or sauces, and the onion rings they gave me were cold and not replaced. This experience was extremely disappointing due to the poor customer service exhibited.

Store #[redacted]. Order # 41 placed on 09/11/12 included a coupon for a 10-piece chicken at $7.99 and a large coleslaw. However, I was charged $10.99 for the chicken and $3.99 for the coleslaw when I paid by credit card. Even though I requested spicy chicken, I received mild. The coleslaw container was only filled halfway. When I called the store and asked to speak to the Manager, the person who answered claimed to be the Manager but the call got disconnected as I started explaining my concerns. Despite trying to call back five times, the phone rang unanswered each time. This has been the most disappointing experience I've had with Popeye's, and I plan to share my review after resolving this issue with you.

Hello, my name is Joseph, and I have been working at Popeyes in San Antonio, Texas for about 6 months. Within one month, I was promoted to shift manager. Despite being promised a raise, I have not received one to this day. I have raised this issue multiple times with my supervisor, store general manager, and even the district manager, but it was never resolved. Today, I made the difficult decision to quit because I have been performing management duties without the appropriate compensation. I enjoyed working at Popeyes, but the inadequate pay and mistreatment from management have pushed me to leave. My boyfriend is considering taking legal action against the franchise owner and district manager to recover the lost wages and back pay for the months I worked as a manager. If anyone has a functioning corporate number for Popeyes, please share. Thank you.

Today, my wife and I visited Popeyes on Union Turnpike at 7:00 PM. We were exhausted with headaches. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find the restaurant very loud with Spanish music, almost like a nightclub. Wanting to eat after a long day, we approached the manager twice to lower the music, but he insisted it was classical music. Feeling uncomfortable, we couldn't enjoy our meal, and the manager's response made me argue with him. Despite my wife's attempt to resolve the issue, the manager claimed he couldn't control the music. Frustrated, we left without eating. This negative experience has deterred us from returning to Popeyes in the future.

This is my third visit to location #[redacted], and unfortunately, my order has been incorrect each time. Despite giving my order slowly and clearly, I often receive something different or missing items. Simple things like not providing a spoon for my side of beans can be frustrating. I live nearby and want to continue supporting this location, but receiving the correct order is crucial. These mistakes usually happen at the drive-thru, and after a tiring day and traffic, a wrong meal is the last thing I need. I am hoping to receive compensation for the incorrect orders and request better training for the drive-thru staff to ensure accurate orders. It would be helpful if staff double-checked tickets while packing orders and called out orders to customers for confirmation. I look forward to a prompt response.

While at Popeyes on Exit Highway 30, a manager, an older white lady, was taking orders. When a lady struggled to speak, I intervened and indicated "for here." However, when the manager returned with change, she ignored me. After seeking help from another employee, I attempted to explain the situation without mentioning the manager. The employee accused me of talking about her, leading to a tense confrontation. I expressed my disappointment at being mistreated, citing historical injustices faced by black individuals. The situation escalated when the manager threatened to involve the police for disturbing the peace. Despite my insistence that I had done nothing wrong, the manager's disrespectful behavior towards me and the elderly white lady with me was evident.

This is the third time I've attempted to convey this issue. At Popeyes in Tangle Outlet Mall in Gonzales, Louisiana, there was an incident with an individual I assumed was the manager, wearing a light blue Popeyes shirt. I was accompanied by a 75-year-old white woman, while I am 62 years old, giving her a ride to meet her daughter. She was ahead of me in line as I let her out before parking. The manager took her order, but when it was my turn, they did not take my order. The staff at the counter simply stared at me, and their behavior left me feeling confused. Additionally, there was another lady on the floor during this encounter.

I visited Popeyes located at Highway 30 at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Gonzales, Louisiana. When I was there, the manager, Ms. Mary, came to take my order. The lady I was with placed an order, and after paying, the manager went to the back. When she returned, I was left waiting for my order. Despite my attempts to get someone to take my order, I was ignored until another employee helped me. I mentioned my disappointment at how things had changed since the past when certain people were treated differently based on their race. The manager misunderstood my comments, and things escalated when she threatened to call the police. In the end, as I left, she made a comment implying I should share that I was served by a black employee. This behavior is unacceptable in today's time, and I believe the manager should face consequences for her actions.
