Hello, I am a private seller on eBay, and recently sold an item to a buyer who requested a refund claiming it was not the correct part for her bike. Despite suspecting her motives, I foolishly issued a partial refund before receiving the item back. The buyer admitted in messages that she was delaying the return until the refund cleared. I am now left without the item and seeking assistance in recovering the refunded amount since the buyer has no intention of returning the item. The buyer, Nikki Donegan, has been evasive and is now proposing to keep the item at her offered price, all the while acknowledging she hasn't sent it back. I am frustrated by the situation and seeking advice on how to reclaim the refunded money as she has not returned the item. All communication regarding this can be found on eBay under the transaction ID 1UV24852TA[redacted]. My eBay username is gloryboy1977, and I am reaching out for guidance in resolving this issue. Thank you for any help you can offer. Regards, Mark H.

I'm facing issues logging into my PayPal account. After multiple attempts, I had to create a new account to start selling. However, this new account has limitations. I provided all required information promptly but have been waiting over 15 hours on live chat. I urgently need to speak with an advisor to understand why the limitations are in place and why I couldn't access my original account. I submitted proof of purchase for items I'm selling, which I bought in a lot from eBay, through a JPEG file. Unfortunately, I can't provide receipts as the payment was made via PayPal. I'm feeling very frustrated and impatient due to these issues and hope for a resolution soon.

Today around 2 o'clock, I made a purchase on eBay for a Nina outfit priced at £16.54, but I later noticed that two transactions were processed instead of one. The purchase was made through PayPal, though it doesn't show up on my PayPal app, it does appear on my bank statement with 'PayPal' listed. I tried to cancel the order before the seller shipped it out, but the system wouldn't allow it. I have reached out to the seller to request a cancellation and refund for one of the items, but I haven't received a response yet. I'm concerned that the seller might dispatch both items before I hear back. I attempted to contact PayPal via phone, but the call failed, and speaking with an online agent has been unproductive. I'm unsure what my next steps should be and cannot afford to lose this money right now. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

PayPal declined my claim with case number PP-D-[redacted]6 without thoroughly reviewing the email exchanges. The item I received was not the one I ordered; it was a cheaper product. I requested either a refund or a replacement, but PayPal's decision seems to overlook the details of our communication. I remain firm in my stance that while a product was delivered, it was not the correct one and at a lower value. This discrepancy appears to be a case of misleading advertising. The item I purchased was two Domom 2-in-1 hair trimmers at £24.99 each, but I received Noveone Cordless Hair Trimmers priced at £17.99 each. I urge a reevaluation of this case as the resolution offered did not address the core issue. The seller acknowledged the error and initially proposed a partial refund, which I declined. I emphasized my preference for receiving the correct items. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

I purchased a pair of shoes using PayPal, but when they arrived, they were not as described, had a strong chemical smell, and were the wrong size. I opened a case with both the seller and PayPal to request a refund. Despite the seller offering only $5 when I paid $24.99, I declined and followed PayPal's instructions to return the shoes, which I did on 29/05/20. I uploaded a picture of the Royal Mail receipt as proof of postage between the two addresses. However, PayPal now claims I didn't provide a tracking number, but I was only given the receipt. They have closed the case, leaving me out of $24.99 plus an additional £10 for postage. I have been struggling to reach PayPal for assistance. I fulfilled all the requirements, but still have not received my refund. This situation is frustrating as the seller was dishonest, and I am at a loss on how to proceed.

Hello, I recently made a purchase on eBay and was notified that it was a fraudulent transaction. eBay informed me about the unauthorized access to the seller's account and the removal of the item from the site. Despite this, the payment was deducted from my credit card. I've been advised to contact PayPal to file for a dispute and request a full refund for transaction ID: 7UN32101J[redacted]P. The guest PayPal account associated with this transaction is - UA4XZJRKECFGJ. I appreciate any assistance with this matter. Thank you, Gerry.

I made a purchase on eBay on April 16th but the item never arrived. After opening a case, the seller mentioned that the item was in their wife's car and would send it out. Due to health issues, I was hospitalized for 2 months and forgot about the item until recently. When I asked the seller, they insisted they had already mailed it. Feeling frustrated, I reached out to eBay for guidance. They advised me to ask the seller to open a dispute for the transaction ID: 7SB03513FL227682M 3 and provided a guest Paypal account: 6DBSRWH7GRUU2. Dealing with this situation is causing me more anxiety and depression, and I hope for a resolution as I genuinely haven't received the item.

I would like to close my PayPal account as I now deal directly with my banks' headquarters and no longer require your services. Yesterday, on June 8, [redacted], at 11:26 BST, I received an email from "support" ([redacted]) referencing transaction code 1PV80776YG[redacted], stating that 5.37 GBP would be deducted from my PayPal account for goods ordered by someone named Claire Bowma at 5 Hamilton Road, Bath, BA1 5SB. I do not know this person and did not authorize any transactions. I have informed my local bank and bank headquarters to prevent any payment from going through.

My PayPal account was compromised, and unauthorized transactions occurred on 12/06/20. Despite reporting the fraudulent activity to my bank and closing the account, sellers have refunded the money to my closed account. How can I reinstate my account? Best, A. J. I tried to recover my funds by creating a new account using the same email address. Shortly after setting a new password, someone changed it, preventing me from accessing or resetting it. The lack of response to phone calls is frustrating, leaving me without assistance.

Hello, I wanted to share my recent experience purchasing "Apple AirPods Pro" from theshyl.com through a Facebook ad on April 25th. The product I received after almost a month was not an authentic Apple item and had various faults from the first use, including random Bluetooth disconnection, uncontrollable volume changes, and non-functional noise-cancelling feature. After initial communication with the seller "xixiya," I escalated the issue by opening a claim in the PayPal Resolution Center. I've now reached the stage in the resolution process where I am required to send back the faulty and counterfeit headphones to China at my own expense before receiving a refund. The return address provided to me is written in Chinese and differs from the details initially given by the seller. The cheapest return postage I found costs around £15. I have tried contacting PayPal via email to address the discrepancy, but the process forces me to use their tool without any confirmation that the message was actually sent. In terms of a resolution, my preferred options are as follows: 1. Refund the full $75.99 without the return of the misrepresented and faulty item, as evidenced in the photos. 2. Have the seller arrange and cover return shipping costs, then refund after receiving the product. I feel the seller deceived customers by falsely advertising Apple products and is now avoiding issuing refunds. I appreciate any guidance you can provide on this matter. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Toby

I am concerned as there are unexpected charges on my wife's bank statement linked to my daughter's PayPal account. Despite my daughter using her own bank account for PayPal, there were two charges of 10p and £1.40. We worry it might be fraud, with small amounts being taken discreetly. My daughter won't let us check her account and claims it's not her doing. She is having trouble removing my wife's bank details. This has been distressing my wife, and we are unsure if the charges are valid or if we should stop the bank account. Please help resolve this issue. Thank you.

Hello, I've been experiencing difficulty reaching PayPal during the COVID-19 outbreak. I made a purchase of 3 shower heads from EXU UK on February 10, [redacted]. The delivery took longer than expected, arriving after 5 weeks instead of the 3 to 5 days mentioned. Upon testing one of the shower heads, it was not as advertised. It consumed more water, needed higher hot water input, and had reduced pressure, providing no discernible benefits. Despite contacting the company multiple times to return the items for a refund due to their unsuitability, they only offer a 30-day warranty and refuse a refund. Additionally, I discovered the item is being sold for a significantly lower price on Wowcher. I believe this situation should be covered by PayPal's money-back guarantee. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.

I reached out to eBay regarding an item I purchased with my debit card. Despite giving the seller ample time, the delivery status on eBay does not match DPD UK tracking. Since ordering on April 28, [redacted], I have patiently awaited delivery and stayed in contact with the unresponsive seller. eBay confirmed I have [redacted]-day PayPal Buyer Protection. The DPD UK tracking indicates the item was delivered to Armagh City, over 30 miles from my location in Lisburn City. The discrepancy is frustrating for both me and eBay, who have agreed to process a refund of £[redacted].99. Payment was made through PayPal with my debit card, and eBay shared the PayPal transaction ID for the undelivered item: 7UY474727C415062S. Sincerely, Keith M. Carlisle-Stewart.

Hello, I have a situation where PayPal has informed me that a case has been opened against me in the resolution center based on evidence provided by the seller's tracked item. The item I received from overseas does not match what I ordered, but the seller used its tracking information to prove delivery to PayPal. I still have the item and its original packaging. I have attempted to reach PayPal by phone without success. I would like them to reconsider this case as it seems I was sent a product of much lower value than what I paid for, and the tracking information is being used to prevent a refund. Thank you, Carmel L.

I am having trouble accessing my PayPal account as it has been years since I last used it. All my contact information, except for my email address, is outdated. I have been unable to update my information due to not logging in for an extended period of time. Despite receiving emails about changes to the account, I am unable to sign in. PayPal's help page keeps sending verification codes to an old mobile number, which I cannot receive. I have tried calling, but only reach an automated system that does not solve my issue. I am frustrated with the lack of response from PayPal. I would like to close my account, but getting help seems nearly impossible. The customer service team does not respond to my emails and directs me to call instead.

For five weeks, I have been unable to access my PayPal account due to unrecognized sign-in details. Unfortunately, all of their phone lines, including those listed on their website, are either disconnected or automated. My attempts to contact them through written correspondence have been unsuccessful. Despite reaching out from my daughter's account, they require me to call personally. I am eager to regain access to my account to continue working and retrieve the funds intended for my family's holiday. The current situation is both time-consuming and distressing. I am surprised at how a financial institution can disregard its customers in this manner.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with my Paypal account being limited from withdrawing money. Paypal requested proof of identity, mobile number update, and proof of address in the form of a bank statement, all of which I have provided. After completing these steps and confirming they were fulfilled on their website, a test transaction of £1 was also done successfully. However, despite this, the final message from Paypal mentioned a few days wait for a resolution, which has now extended to 12 days without any progress. I am still unable to use my account for withdrawals.

I purchased a baby playpen with a sun cover, and after not receiving a response to my email inquiry, I contacted PayPal due to the misleading advertisement. I provided PayPal with photos and receipts showing that I received a flimsy tent instead of the item I ordered. PayPal informed me that I can get a full refund if I return the tent at my own expense and in perfect condition. This stressful situation involves a company that appears to be scamming customers, and it's disheartening as this was meant as a gift for my great granddaughter. I'm unsure how to proceed.

I purchased a Domom 2 in 1 Hair trimmer from Magoloft on 26th April [redacted] for £25.98 including shipping, paid via PayPal. On 26th May [redacted], I was informed via email that my order was on the way, yet it has not arrived. I then contacted them again on 25th June [redacted], expressing my disappointment and requesting a refund. Despite receiving no reply, I located the address on the box and returned the item on 29th June [redacted], incurring a £3.70 fee for a certificate of posting. Unfortunately, I have not received any further communication or refund. The lack of responses, apologies, and the delay in processing has left me frustrated with the company's customer service. Your assistance in obtaining a refund would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, J. K.

I am encountering an issue with a money transfer on PayPal. A friend sent me $[redacted], but I am unable to accept the payment. Every time I try, I receive an error message saying, "Sorry, an error occurred after you clicked the last link." I've contacted PayPal through messages and once by phone, but the problem remains unresolved. They suggested waiting a month for the payment to automatically expire and return to the sender, but that hasn't happened. I've been unsuccessful in reaching a human agent through messaging or phone calls. This situation is frustrating, and I am in need of assistance.
