I posted an ad on Bookoo Ramstein to sell my daughter's iPhone X. We agreed to a price with a buyer named Lisa Muller from Belgium who offered extra for shipping. Paypal seemed to confirm the payment, but then asked for additional fees due to account limitations. Lisa Muller started asking for more money, which raised suspicions. It became clear this was a scam. While waiting to contact Paypal for help, Lisa claimed to have received the phone even though we still owed money to Sprint. We've been experiencing issues with PayPal for 6 months now. Our account access is limited, and despite providing personal and business information, we are unable to complete the owner information and director details due to an ongoing technical error. PayPal displays a message stating, "We're experiencing some technical difficulties, try later," but the problem has persisted for half a year. This situation renders PayPal useless for us as we cannot utilize the money received. Despite contacting their customer service without success, we are eager to provide all necessary details. I was unsure of the service price when paying with PayPal. Normally, PayPal shows the final charge in my local currency. I am in need of assistance regarding an unresolved issue with PayPal. Despite providing all requested information, PayPal ended our conversation without resolving my query about a £32 payment made to me on January 12th, which has not been credited to my account. The payment was for selling books on eBay and the transaction details are as follows: eBay transaction ID 1C044585MD[redacted], eBay item number [redacted]22. The payment was confirmed on the same date. I am puzzled as PayPal claimed there was no link to my email address, which is [redacted], my long-time eBay username. I mistakenly entered the wrong phone number on my PayPal account and am unable to access it. I reside in Thailand but have my account registered in Germany and need to update my phone number to ensure a smooth transfer of funds. Unfortunately, I cannot login or delete the account due to the incorrect phone number. Despite efforts to seek help from PayPal support in the USA, the issue remains unresolved. I unintentionally provided my Thai cell number assuming it would work with a German bank account. However, it seems this setup is not compatible. I have a business account linked to my Thai bank details and a private account tied to my German bank, both which are essential for my transactions.

Ces dossiers ont été clôturés le 27 juillet après m'avoir promis un remboursement par mail, mais je n'ai jamais reçu le montant sur mon compte bancaire malgré le délai de 3 à 30 jours annoncé. J'ai tenté de contacter le fournisseur en Espagne ainsi que Paypal France, mais en vain à cause de la situation liée au Covid. J'ai essayé divers moyens de communication, mais cela n'a pas permis de résoudre le problème. Cela fait maintenant plusieurs mois et je ne veux plus entendre des excuses liées au Covid. Je ne comprends pas l'intérêt d'avoir un compte Paypal si après 6 mois d'efforts pour les contacter je ne suis toujours pas remboursée, alors que d'autres sites effectuent des remboursements en moins d'une semaine. I recently had my bank account and card unliked from my PayPal account mistakenly. After reaching out to them via their message center, they acknowledged the error but requested that I verify my identity over the phone to relink my bank and card. The issue arises since I reside in Europe, specifically Slovakia, where there is no direct phone support or local PayPal office available for me to contact for resolving this matter. My phone is broken, and I have lost access to the authenticator app that was on it. My PayPal account has 2-factor authentication, and I am now unable to log in. Unfortunately, there seems to be no suggested recovery method for the 2-factor authentication process. I have been trying to contact PayPal's local Belgian department without success. When I contacted PayPal US via live chat, they redirected me back to the local department, which I am unable to reach. The phone number provided leads to an automated system, and there are no service representatives available to assist me. I have been stuck in a loop for several days trying to resolve this issue without any success.

In November [redacted], I received an email from Pp Belgium requesting additional information. They informed me that due to my residence in Spain, my existing account on [redacted] had to be closed, prompting me to open a new account in Spain, which I did with [redacted] Despite setting up the new account, I have been receiving reimbursements to my old account which I can no longer access, leaving the money trapped there. I have been attempting to reach a customer representative in Belgium for weeks via phone calls, but the automated options and transfers have not been helpful. I have also tried reaching out through messaging with no success. I am reaching out for assistance in transferring the funds from my Belgian account to my Spanish account, as I am in urgent need of help.

Hello, I purchased clothing for $[redacted].43 through PayPal on March 19, [redacted]. I only received 2 dresses from the order on April 7, [redacted]. I have reported the issue twice through the PayPal resolution center regarding the order from March 19, but it seems it is not being recorded. The complaint is about the goods not matching the seller's advertisement: the clothing is made of purely synthetic material instead of cotton or linen as advertised. Additionally, I only received 2 items/dresses out of my entire order totaling $[redacted].43. I have informed the seller immediately, but they insist everything is correct. Since the rest of the order hasn't even been prepared for shipping, and I suspect it is also pure synthetic, I would like to cancel my order and receive a full refund. I have been locked out of my A/C for over a year since losing access to my phone during the lockdown. Despite contacting customer service, the suggested solutions have not been helpful. I am unable to set up the Google Authenticator as I cannot log in. I have used the same bank account and email with Paypal Europe for years and believe my email should suffice for two-step verification. I have reached out to Resolver and the Financial Ombudsman, but responses are slow. Considering my familiarity with the UK Court system, I am contemplating legal action after sending a Letter Before Action to Paypal Europe without any reply.
