A few months ago, I received the wrong quiche from Panera. After my wife Monica called to complain, they sent us an $8 voucher. On 12/15/[redacted], I ordered a quiche and a bagel at the Ulmerton Road, FL location. Despite being the first car in line, when I reached the window, they said the quiche was unavailable after already processing the voucher. I offered cash, but they couldn't accept it. The manager took my information to send another voucher, but I never received it. Visited the store on 1/6/19, spoke to the same manager who denied everything. I find this level of service from Panera unacceptable. The main issue is accuracy in fulfilling orders. My Panera # is [redacted]. My name is Dr. Osman Ahmed, and my address is [redacted] Eagles Walk Dr., Clearwater, FL [redacted].

Subject: Re: Complaint Regarding Panera Bread Mount Pleasant, MI
Dear Mr. Meerman,
I am Dr. Dawn Nelson, a professor at Central Michigan University. I frequent the Mount Pleasant Panera Bread location for takeout orders 2-3 times a week. Unfortunately, the orders are often incorrect, missing items like nuts on the soup or butter even after prior complaints to the manager. Despite receiving a gift certificate for a previous error, promised follow-up calls have not materialized.
Today, my soup arrived without nuts, and the butter placed directly on top caused leakage. While grateful for Panera in Mount Pleasant, I urge for improved drive-through service and attention to detail. As the regional manager, I seek your intervention to address this recurring issue promptly.
Kindly acknowledge the receipt of this email.
Sincerely,
M. Dawn Nelson, Ph.D. CCC-A

On Monday, January 7, [redacted], I visited Panera Bread store # [redacted] in Riverhead, NY. I ordered 2 lentil quinoa chicken bowl soups and an almond chicken salad sandwich with 2 green teas. After waiting for about 10 minutes, my friend and I sat down to eat and found a label inside our meal. I took a picture and alerted the cashier, Maritza, who promised the manager, James, would address the issue. Despite not receiving an apology, I was told my meal would be refunded to my credit card due to the inconvenience. However, I only received a $10 credit on my bill. This experience was disappointing, and I expect an apology. If I do not receive a response from corporate soon, I will share my concerns on social media. I have evidence of the incident and have contacted my credit card company.

Hello,
I wanted to report an incident that occurred at the store located at [redacted] City Avenue, Philadelphia, PA [redacted] this morning. My name is Akash Malbari and I placed an order through the MyPanera app for a Scrambled Egg and Cheese on a Brioche around 7:45 AM. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the store, my order was not ready. A kitchen staff member asked me "sandwich?" and handed me an order quickly. Rushing for work, I did not check the order until I got to my car and noticed it contained a sausage patty, which goes against my religious beliefs as a Hindu. Upon returning to the store, the staff member showed no remorse. Despite living in the same apartment building and frequently visiting this Panera location, this experience with the app's Rapid Pickup service has left me disappointed. I hope my feedback leads to improved customer service in the future.
Thank you,
Akash

I had an unexpected experience at the Panera in Roswell, GA. I arrived around 7:40 pm on Sunday, January 27, seeking a bagel with chive spread and coffee. While my order was accurate, I forgot to request my bagel to be sliced, resulting in both halves being toasted. I mentioned the mistake, but the employee seemed bothered by the request. Within 20 minutes, the staff began closing procedures around me, making me and other customers feel rushed out before 8:00 pm, although closing time is stated as 9:00 pm. After finishing my bagel, when I wanted a refill of coffee, I was informed they had already closed and couldn't prepare another pot, despite there still being customers present. Not the best treatment of customers in this situation. - Ronnie D.

I have tried to communicate with you over the years without success. I believe it is time to remove my card information from your system due to the decline in service quality. The prices have increased significantly, and I have to wait next to the counter for my iced coffee now. Why the change? Other coffee options are accessible without such inconvenience. I compared your peanut butter and bagel prices to those at Costco and Wilco, noticing a substantial markup. The waiting times have also increased, making the overall experience less pleasant. It appears you have shifted from a community-focused establishment to one driven by technology, potentially alienating long-time customers. Despite these issues, your staff exhibit great personalities, although they seem burdened and underpaid. I have decided to support a different business that places a higher value on customer satisfaction. Good luck with your future endeavors; I believe a competitor may arise to challenge your organization soon.

My name is Laurel, and I'm employed at a Panera in Lansing, Michigan. I've dedicated nearly three years to this job and have progressed to become an associate trainer. Despite my experience and role, I haven't received a raise, while those I train earn more than me. I was informed that wages would increase to $10 as of January 1st, but this hasn't reflected in my pay yet after multiple pay periods. I've raised this concern with all the managers, as I believe my level of expertise and input warrants fair compensation.

As a regular customer at the North First Street branch in San Jose, I typically visit with my colleagues once or twice a week during lunchtime. Today, on February 11th around 12:30 pm, I ordered food using #96 but unfortunately, my order did not arrive for 20 minutes. When I inquired with the server and kitchen staff, they were unable to locate my order based on my last name. The front desk staff suggested checking my bank account to see if the order went through. Despite assuring them of my regular patronage, I had to leave and purchase lunch elsewhere. Upon returning and showing my bank transaction with the charge, the Manager, Rodrigo, facilitated a refund. However, my overall experience at Panera was disappointing, and I am hesitant to return. If no further explanation or follow-up is provided, I plan to share my experience on Twitter by the end of the week regarding the missing order and subsequent payment issues.

I was very disappointed with my experience at the Panera in Niles, IL on Milwaukee Ave. I visited the store early in the morning to buy coffee cake and scones for the staff at an animal hospital who have been assisting me with my sick cat for Valentine's Day. However, there was a limited selection available, with only individual muffins and cookies. I was also planning to get Hazelnut coffee and a bagel for myself but left without making any purchases due to the lack of options. My Panera card number is 9[redacted] [redacted] with reg code [redacted]. I believe it would be beneficial for management to address this issue to avoid similar situations in the future. Thank you.

Hello,
I visited the Panera on Providence Highway in Dedham, MA with my son this evening around 8:15 p.m. We both ordered the "you pick two" option. I requested tomato soup and a chickpea salad. Unfortunately, they were out of baguettes and chips for sides, so I settled for ciabatta rolls. My son ordered a Caesar salad and a steak sandwich, which they ran out of, so he received an Italian sandwich instead. It wasn't on a roll but on a slice of bread. I didn't receive a roll with my order either. I requested a price adjustment at the register, but only got offered a cookie, which was disappointing given the meal discrepancies. Despite previously enjoying meals at Panera, this experience was subpar. I ended up throwing out my sandwich but found the soup to be good.
Thank you,
Patricia M.

1. I really appreciate PB's menu, food, service, atmosphere, customer loyalty rewards, and their overall operations. 2. I truly enjoy the Broccoli Cheddar soup. 3. As a vegetarian, I recently discovered that the soup contains a chicken broth base. 4. Knowing this has made me hesitant to continue having the soup in the future. 5. Unfortunately, this means I may visit PB less often, purely due to the limited options. 6. The PB location I visit is on North University in Ann Arbor. 7. This message conveys all I intended to share with PB, and I consider it the conclusion of my communication with them.

I was thrilled when the Panera in Belton, Missouri opened a couple of months back. My family has always enjoyed Panera from our time in Connecticut. We visited the new location right away, but our first experience was disappointing - no Asiago bread and a brown, old salad. This was not up to the usual fresh standard we are used to. Despite giving it another chance, the second visit was no better - still no Asiago bread, and this time the Caesar Salad was also brown and unappetizing. To top it off, we found brown and rotten arugula in our sandwiches. This location really needs to improve its quality control before it damages Panera's reputation. For now, we have switched to Kneadr's as our new favorite spot. Both of our visits were disappointing, and it's vital that the staff are educated and changes are made. Thank you for listening, Panera Belton, Missouri location needs to step up their game.

This morning, I visited the Panera Bread N Michigan location in Chicago. I placed my order from my table, but after waiting past the expected time, I inquired about my order. Despite showing them my receipt, they couldn't find it. They claimed I had selected rapid pick up, which wasn't the case as I had indicated a table number and received a message saying they would bring it to me. They agreed to remake my order, but it arrived without the modifications I needed due to a food allergy. I waited over 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich that I had to discard as it was inedible for me.

My partner and I are regular customers at Panera. Today, we ordered the "pick two" menu for a late lunch - a half tuna salad sandwich and Mac n cheese in a bread bowl. We made sure to request no onions on the sandwich due to my partner's allergy. Unfortunately, when we received our order, the sandwich had onions, and the Mac n cheese portion was very small, barely a half scoop, while the bread bowl was almost filled entirely with bread. We returned the order and spoke to a manager named Chris who dismissed our concerns, claiming the small portions were correct. Despite being frequent visitors, we were disappointed by the poor handling of our complaint and the overall experience at the Airport Rd location in Huntsville, Alabama.

Good morning! I am currently at my favorite Panera restaurant enjoying my usual breakfast, but I am considering sending a complaint. I arrived around 8 am and noticed the restaurant is quite dirty. The light fixtures above the dining area are dusty, the coffee carafes and juice machines look like they have never been cleaned. If Gordon Ramsey saw this, he might shut it down. I have observed this every time I visit, and recently, I have only been doing takeout because it's too unclean to dine in. I am even thinking about finding a new spot. The restaurant is located at Marsh Avenue in Staten Island, NY.

I visited two of your outlets recently. On 2/24/19, I bought a chocolate chip cookie from your Golf Mill store in Illinois. Unfortunately, it was extremely hard, almost like a rock. When I tried to soften it in the microwave, it ended up smelling burnt. The week before, another hard cookie from the same location had to be thrown away.
Then, on 2/26/19, I stopped by your Glenview branch on Waukegan Rd. in Illinois. I ordered a large macaroni and cheese along with a cinnamon roll. The macaroni dish was less than half full, with mostly cheese sauce instead of pasta. I was disappointed as I had planned to have it for two meals. Additionally, even though there were fresh cinnamon rolls available, the staff insisted on selling me one that had been out for a while. Given the high prices, I expected a much better quality of products.

As a loyal Panera Bread customer, I frequently rely on the Rapid Order feature for a quick breakfast on my way to work. Unfortunately, during my last three visits, I experienced delays with my orders causing me to be late. On two occasions, my orders were prepared but placed behind the counter, requiring me to wait in line just to obtain them. Despite understanding busy mornings, today's incident was the last straw for me. I had ordered a customized brioche bacon and egg sandwich with folded egg white, scheduled for pickup at 7:24 am. When I finally retrieved my order at 7:27 am, I discovered it was missing the bacon I had requested. The receipt showed my order was ready by 7:19 am, and it was disappointing to find such inconsistencies. I am hoping to receive a credit for this inconvenience, which I plan to use towards lunch or dinner at a different Panera Bread location. My unsatisfactory experience occurred at the Northlake Blvd. branch in Florida.

I experienced extremely poor customer service at your Fayetteville, GA location. After escalating the issue to a supervisor, I was promised a call back that never came. During my visit, I asked the cashier for 5 butters for my bagels; she stated there were only two in the container and refused to retrieve more from the cooler, opting to argue instead. I am a paying customer who is highly dissatisfied and will not be returning. In contrast, other locations provide exceptional service. This specific branch is in dire need of improvement; the staff appears unenthusiastic about their roles and seem unsuitable for customer-facing positions. The manager showed no interest in customer satisfaction. I have retained my receipt for reference. I urge for this matter to be addressed promptly. Sincerely, Tonya Barber.

On March 2, [redacted], I placed an order for pick-up at Panera. Although the order was supposed to be ready at 11:43, it wasn't available until 11:57, causing a 15-minute delay. After picking up the bags, I discovered that our large coffee was missing. When I returned to get it, my boyfriend noticed his French onion soup was missing croutons. Despite our usual positive experiences at Panera, this recent visit left us disappointed. We appreciate the convenience of ordering through the app, especially during long trips. I've tried calling to address this issue without success. We're hesitant to depend on Panera again for timely service during our travels. Can Panera provide any compensation for this subpar experience? I suggest adding monetary value to my rewards card or offering a complimentary sandwich as a gesture of goodwill. Our order number was #[redacted]. Unfortunately, the order wasn't checked, and we had to retrieve our own spoon for the soup. The staff cited busyness during lunchtime as the reason for the delays, but they failed to offer any satisfactory resolution. Thank you for your assistance.

While visiting the Panera Bread at Phoenix Airport on March 6, [redacted] with my son, we encountered various issues. Initially, the self-service kiosk did not accept our credit cards with chips, causing us to wait in line to order. The staff lacked friendliness and seemed disinterested in their work, making mistakes without apologizing. I requested decaf coffee but received a regular one without being informed. Later, the coffee pots ran empty, leading to delays and blaming customers. The overall service was slow and disappointing, almost causing us to miss our flight. In contrast, I had a great experience at Panera in Ashwaubenon, WI. The staff at Phoenix Airport's Panera could use improvement in their attitude and efficiency.
