On 4/27/[redacted], a staff member called out of work due to babysitting issues, stating they contacted others for coverage but received no response. I advised them to contact the staffing coordinator. Following a conversation with the coordinator and the staff member, I messaged the coordinator about the lack of response for coverage. The coordinator mentioned it's everyone's responsibility to find coverage, to which I conveyed the message and ended the discussion. Later, I was informed I was terminated for being perceived as insubordinate towards the coordinator. The issue arose when I declined to contact the same individuals already reached out to by the coordinator and the staff member. I mentioned I could relay the message to specific individuals for coverage suggestion. The coordinator deemed this as insubordination. I expressed willingness to comply but felt unclear about these job responsibilities.

I've been trying to reach you all morning, but I haven't been able to request a call back. Can you assist me? I only had two weeks left on unemployment, and I didn't receive payment for the week of July 16th, and it doesn't seem like I will be paid for the last week. It mentioned something about a profile assessment due by July 14th. I completed the assessment on the 11th and even have a screenshot for verification. I redid the assessment on July 26th. Can you help me receive payment for my last two weeks of unemployment? I can provide the necessary proof.

On the morning of August 21st, I experienced a termination from my job unexpectedly. Though I was scheduled for a job review with my boss, HR intervened and informed me of my dismissal. The job review conducted by HR was unfavorable, citing reasons such as failure to respond to emails and making negative remarks about the job to colleagues. These statements do not align with my character, as I believe in maintaining a positive work environment. Additionally, there were claims of escalating issues with residents, which I find to be untrue as I always aimed to provide constructive feedback. I am unsure about the protocol of HR handling the termination instead of my boss. Despite the circumstances, HR expressed empathy and assured me of my employability in the job market. This situation hints at potential personality conflicts with my boss and co-workers that may have contributed to my dismissal.

I submitted my initial claim on 9/22/[redacted], but I have yet to receive any payments. Despite making several calls to your office seeking assistance, I have encountered inconsistent information each time. Towards the end of October, I was informed that I failed to respond to a notice regarding an injury. However, I promptly provided details over the phone to confirm my ability to work, as my injury was minor. I was then assured that I would receive back pay for the unemployment benefits owed to me since 9/22/[redacted]. Unfortunately, I am now experiencing difficulties accessing the online system. Despite receiving a US Bank debit card from your office, I have not received any of the back pay. My attempts to reach out for help have been unfruitful as I am unable to connect or receive a callback. Kindly address this issue promptly. Thank you.

I am unsure if I qualify for unemployment benefits. I would appreciate speaking to someone regarding my situation. Recently, I was let go from my job due to my pace of work, despite receiving positive feedback. I was reassigned to dish duty until further notice to receive additional training to improve my speed. However, suddenly, I was expected to work much faster right after Thanksgiving, a busy period, without any prior notice. Juggling multiple tasks slowed me down, and I acknowledge that I need more practice as I am still in training. Could you kindly assist me? Please reach out to me via email or phone at [redacted]. Thank you and have a great day.

During the eighth week, while checking my resume on the Ohio Means Jobs website, I noticed it was active before the deadline. I am currently facing financial difficulties due to medical bills and major car repairs. My only vehicle, which my fiancé and I share, required a costly clutch replacement. In addition to our basic needs, I have pending legal matters to address regarding my driver's license and insurance. I anticipate being recalled to work by April 1st. I have successfully maintained my sobriety for over four years and resolved my tax obligations from [redacted] onwards. I sincerely request assistance during this temporary layoff period. May grace and mercy be shown to me, as I strive to overcome these challenges with the fortitude of Christ's sacrifice for us all. God bless you and God bless America.

During my seasonal layoff from work from around Dec 20 to April first, I faced various challenges. Ohio required a resume by February 16, which I submitted on the Ohio Means Jobs site. However, my benefits are on hold, and I urgently need the money. My fiancé and I share one car that needs significant repairs, and we relied on unemployment benefits to fix it. Additionally, I have medical issues like liver cirrhosis from past addiction, which I have conquered for over four years. Dealing with medical insurance, Medicaid, SR-22 insurance, and license reinstatement fees has been tough. Despite these problems, I've made efforts to file overdue taxes since [redacted]. I'm eager to receive the benefits for week eight and return to work soon, as our financial situation is dire. Any assistance in resolving this matter would mean a lot to me. Thank you for considering my situation.

I recently applied for Unemployment benefits after being laid off in April. After some back-and-forth communication, I received confirmation that I am eligible, but I missed filing claims for the weeks of April 8th to May 24th. Additionally, there seemed to be confusion around my last week of May filing. I diligently searched for work, applying for [redacted] jobs. Despite receiving a job offer starting on June 17th, I still need to claim benefits for the missed weeks. I've been trying to reach out for assistance to no avail. My name is Rebecca Norgaard.

I am having trouble logging in to submit my two job applications this week. On Wednesday, I received two letters in the mail, including one about my OhioMeansJobs reemployment activity requirements, but I can't remember my password. I'm worried about it affecting my benefits if I can't submit my applications by tomorrow, the deadline. I contacted the OhioMeansJobs office yesterday, and they suggested I come in for help, but I couldn't make it to the office. This process is new to me, and I'm unsure how to proceed without knowing my password.

I was unfortunately laid off the week of Thanksgiving. I applied for unemployment benefits, but encountered issues with my account being closed before I could finish my application. I attempted to add holiday pay for that week, only to find that it had already been filed. Now, when I try to access my account, the system keeps moving my next filing date forward by a week. I have since returned to work but am unable to update my status with the unemployment office due to these technical difficulties. I have made multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact them by phone for assistance.

ODFJS has been withholding my pay for two weeks now. I contacted them and was informed that I needed to complete my career profile on Ohiomeansjobs.com. They stated that it would take up to seven business days for my account to be reviewed. Having completed the career profile, I am distressed. I have rent and bills due, and not having any income for two weeks is causing severe financial strain. I even had to plead with my landlord not to evict me. I am finding it impossible to speak to a live person at the ODFJS hotline now. I am frustrated with how the unemployment office handles this situation. It is unfair that they withhold benefits when people are struggling to make ends meet. Despite actively searching for a job, it is challenging. I have updated my resume, attend job interviews weekly, and manage being a full-time student. The current situation is extremely difficult to deal with!

I applied for unemployment benefits in early December and received approval. I worked temporarily at Domino's during the waiting period but realized it's not suitable for me. If I leave Domino's after one month and continue my job search, can I still receive unemployment benefits? I've tried contacting the unemployment office multiple times daily but haven't been able to get through due to high call volumes. I need guidance on how to proceed with my benefits, as they would be more than what I earn at Domino's. Thank you.

I have not received any unemployment payments since my last day of work on December 13, [redacted]. I have not received any explanation or correspondence from unemployment regarding this issue. I recently filed an appeal, but the claim was closed. I have since reopened the claim and filed again, as I have had no issues receiving unemployment benefits in the past. I have the same employer and circumstances as before. I am regularly laid off due to lack of work. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to reach a human representative over the phone. My rent and bills are past due, and I am struggling to make ends meet. I am in a state of panic as I see no reason why my unemployment payments have stopped. My name is L. Haynes, and I am in desperate need of assistance.

As an Ohio resident and employee of Hyde Park Restaurant Group, I am a bartender who has unfortunately been laid off. I am currently facing difficulties with my unemployment claim as my temporary PIN is not working despite my attempts. I have tried changing the PIN through the CHAT option without success. Since I use multiple zip codes, I suspect this might be causing the issue. When trying to change the PIN on the website, it mentioned sending the new PIN to my home address, which I no longer have access to. Despite calling the helpline at 1-[redacted], I have been on hold for several hours without reaching anyone. I am worried about receiving my benefits on time. It would be greatly appreciated if there is a way to successfully change my PIN and speak with a representative. Thank you for your assistance.

Before receiving the debit card from Ohio unemployment, my claims were weekly. I filed for the week of 3/8/[redacted]. After getting the card, I was switched to a biweekly schedule. The problem is that although I filed my standard weekly claim and got paid for one week, my next claim isn't until 3/22/[redacted], skipping the week of 3/15/[redacted]. This gap is causing financial strain as bills are due. I've been unable to reach anyone at the office for help, and the website doesn't offer solutions. My claim started on 2/18/[redacted], and I've only received two weekly payments so far, with the first on 3/1/[redacted]. I'm seeking clarification on this issue. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, Unemployment Office team, My name is Jarrard Martin, and my case number is CA30-0[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]. I am reaching out to request some updates to my case information. I initially applied for unemployment benefits after a temporary layoff due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, I was only able to file this claim on Tuesday, and I would like this to be reflected accurately. The claim is related to The Candle Lab, marked with the mass-layoff number [redacted]. Another correction I need is regarding my income from Banana Republic. I mistakenly reported earning at least $[redacted] in the last 6 weeks, but I have only worked a few shifts during this period. I kindly ask for these adjustments to be made to my claim or to be directed to a representative who can assist me in updating this information. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I am Amanda S. I have been claiming unemployment benefits for the mass layoff due to COVID-19 with claim number CA30-0[redacted]-2[redacted]. I received an email notification about an issue with my claim since I am currently taking one class at KSU. I have already responded to the questions regarding this issue by the deadline of 03/24/[redacted]. I am wondering if there are any further steps required from my end or if you could provide an update on the status of my claim. Taking only one class has not affected my ability to work full-time. I am hoping to file again tomorrow on 03/22/[redacted]. Additionally, I would like to confirm if the filing dates should be listed as the previous Saturday to Saturday. I appreciate your assistance. If you need clarification, please feel free to email me as I am new to this process of filing for unemployment benefits.

I received a notification on my online profile stating that I was employed by a company I did not apply to. When I initially applied, I completed on-site paperwork and underwent background checks and drug testing. After a month, they requested further details about my background check. I explained the situation, but it took a few more weeks for them to contact me again. The person mentioned they had openings from Monday to Thursday, but not on the shift I applied for. Unfortunately, I couldn't accept those shifts due to my medical appointments as an outpatient in rehab in Columbus, Ohio. My appointments and medication pick-up are on Tuesdays, and I never actually started working there. I require assistance on how to handle this situation. Thank you for your help.

I encountered an issue with the Ohio Unemployment Website where I did not receive my temporary PIN or username after registration. The system shows that I have one, but I was never prompted to the next step to obtain this essential information. As a result, I am unable to set up my account for my claim. I am unable to use the reset PIN feature as my account is not fully established, preventing me from receiving a new PIN via email. Repeated attempts to re-register only lead to the system stating that I already have a PIN. The phone line for assistance seems to have no available representatives as I've tried contacting them numerous times over two days. I urgently need to speak with a human to resolve this and obtain my temporary PIN to proceed with my claim. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
