I am deeply concerned by the recent news reports of wrong-way drivers on highways, particularly in Cincinnati. As a parent of young drivers, safety on the roads is a top priority. I believe a proactive solution could prevent tragic accidents. What if rumble strips were installed at all entry ramps to alert drivers if they are going the wrong way? These continuous rumbling strips could serve as a warning, especially at night or in bad weather conditions. I am unsure if this idea is currently in place, but I believe it could potentially save lives and prevent such accidents in the future. I would like to share this suggestion with the Ohio Department of Transportation in hopes of finding a solution. Thank you for considering my proposal. - Cindy Oliver, [redacted].

While driving on Route [redacted] in Paulding, Ohio, I encountered a situation with a utility worker that left me feeling uneasy. As I approached their work area heading west, I slowed down despite the apparent lack of a stop sign. When a worker suddenly appeared holding a stop sign on the right side of the road, I stopped promptly. However, the worker's placement and actions seemed overly aggressive, including taking a picture of my car and gesturing angrily. I understand the importance of caution around road workers but felt his approach was unnecessary. My suggestion would be for him to position himself more visibly to oncoming traffic to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding. The incident occurred around 11:30 am on 5/13/22.

Yesterday, around 5:05 PM on April 6, [redacted], a Kenmore construction truck suddenly pulled out in front of me in a construction zone, causing me to brake forcefully and almost collide with another vehicle. The truck, with number P499, threw mud on my car as it cut into heavy traffic and came to a sudden stop. This incident has resulted in significant back and hip pain today, which I suspect is due to the abrupt braking. I am concerned about the driver's actions and wonder if they are liable for my medical expenses and potential brake repairs. I waited until today to report this as the incident was distressing.
