I am writing about my [redacted] amended return. I am Charles F. Schnipke from [redacted] Mower Y Lehman Rd, Logan, Ohio [redacted].
I had $1,[redacted] withheld from my federal refund, which was sent to the state, and also paid $90 to the Attorney General. I resolved the issue by filing an amended return showing I had already paid taxes to Virginia and Ohio, meaning I did not owe any taxes. Despite this, my federal refund and the payment to the Attorney General have not been refunded to me. I had taxes withheld from my estimated income of $16,[redacted] through work. After months of waiting, I am still awaiting the $1,[redacted] federal refund and $90 payment to the Attorney General that are rightfully mine.
I appreciate your attention to this matter.
Thank you,
C.F. Schnipke

I bought a new car on 6/8/[redacted] and added four years of coverage. I canceled within 35 days, and when I inquired about a refund on the taxes I paid, I was directed to the state tax office. Shortly after, I returned items to Walgreens and Home Depot and received refunds for both the items and the taxes on the same day. How can I directly obtain a refund instead of going through the state tax office, as the company is unwilling to refund me directly?
