Hello, I'm Sara McNaghten reaching out from a Non-Profit Organization in Spokane dedicated to housing isolated patients impacted by the Corona Virus. We are in need of donations of entertainment items such as coloring materials, puzzles, books, and more for the patients to use during their isolation. While we've received many generous donations, we are currently focusing on gathering entertainment items to uplift the spirits of our patients. The Guardians Foundation, in collaboration with the Spokane Regional Health District and medical staff, is tirelessly working to provide a safe environment for our community members in need of isolation. We kindly ask for the community's support in spreading the word and contributing to our cause. Donated items should be suitable for patients to take home due to Covid-19 guidelines. Subject: Issue with Order Pickup at Office Depot Store #[redacted]
I encountered a problem with the "Ready for Pick Up" notification I received from Office Depot. Despite getting a text and email confirming my order, which included assembly service for an office chair, was ready for pick up, I arrived at the store to find it wasn't prepared. The manager tried to blame me, stating the message only indicated the order was "[sic] picked," not ready. I showed him the actual message stating it was indeed "ready for pick up."
After being caught in the lie, the manager arranged for assembly at 11:00am but offered no apology. I had to settle for a different colored display model to avoid another trip. This unacceptable behavior should not be tolerated at OfficeMax. Dishonesty and lack of accountability have no place in customer service.
This incident took place today at 10:30 am at the Office Depot Store #[redacted] at [redacted] Snow Road, Midtown Shopping Plaza, Parma, Ohio [redacted].
