I underwent two surgeries consecutively while I was without a job. I applied for disability benefits but was redirected to unemployment without clear guidance. Despite sending three emails and two letters seeking assistance, I have yet to receive any response or support. Every time I try to reach an agent, I am instructed to call back the following day due to high call volumes. What should my next course of action be? I need guidance on this matter, as it dates back to September. Thank you.

My claim, originally filed on July 26, [redacted], has been escalated monthly with promises of being contacted about backdating it to my last official employment date on February 2, [redacted], which I only recently realized I could apply for. Despite assurances and promises, after being told on September 22nd that my claim was with a specialist, I have not received any updates. Each month when I call to follow up, I am told my claim will be escalated, with a guarantee of receiving back pay from February 2, [redacted]. Please, could someone reach out to me? I am barely managing financially and it's becoming increasingly challenging. Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Stay safe and healthy. Best regards, Erica W.

I encountered issues when trying to claim my benefits. On 12/14/20, while attempting to claim for the week of 12/12-19/20, I received an error message stating no benefits were available. Despite not working any hours due to being furloughed, the system flagged this due to the 12 hours I worked the week before. After contacting support, I was advised to wait and try again the following week. When trying to claim on 12/21/20 for the week of 12/20-26/20, I faced another error message preventing my certification from going through. Support mentioned I needed to reopen my claim online, but I was unable to do so as the system indicated an existing claim with a zero balance. Subsequent calls only led to being informed that my claim was on hold with no solution provided. I am urgently in need of the benefits and seeking help to resolve this issue.

I am experiencing difficulties filing for unemployment in New Jersey as I reside in New York and lack a New Jersey driver's license needed to file online. Attempts to reach a live representative since November have been futile, with automated messages directing me to call back on the next business day. Despite speaking to a live agent once who promised a follow-up, no one has contacted me. All listed phone numbers for NJ reemployment yield the same automated message. I worked in NJ for the last 18 months and qualify for benefits but cannot proceed due to the license requirement and phone assistance unavailability. Seeking guidance on how to address this challenge.

I have been seeing this error message persistently for the last three weeks. The system is currently overwhelmed with new claims, preventing the display of claim status updates. If you received a confirmation number after filing your claim online, rest assured that your claim is in progress. Despite the challenging times we are facing, the team is diligently working to process claims and maintain system accessibility. Although I have been attempting to reach out for assistance, the call center is constantly busy due to the high call volume. The recorded message advises callers to try again on the next business day for a chance to speak with an agent.

I'm having difficulty registering for unemployment online. After inputting my email and password, the site says the account isn't registered. When trying to create a new account, an error occurs. Additionally, changing the password doesn't work as it says the information doesn't match what's on file. There might be confusion with my dad's past unemployment as we share the same name and address. I've been out of work since December 15th and have sent multiple emails for assistance, but haven't received a response, likely due to the high volume of people in need. I just want to register to file for unemployment. Thank you.

I served as an editor for nearly 10 years at a publishing company. When let go, I applied for unemployment benefits due to a dispute over my employment status. After a hearing, you confirmed I was an employee, and I received my benefits. I need a copy of this determination regarding my employment at KTAV Publishing House, Inc. I worked there until November [redacted]. Please send the document to Irving Ruderman at [redacted] Independence Avenue, Apt. 4G, Bronx, New York [redacted], or email it to [redacted] You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted]. I currently have a $0 claim balance and am unemployed. I am utilizing regular unemployment benefits, not PUA, and have certified for a 20-week extension. However, I have not received any funds in my account. It's challenging as I have no income, bills to cover, and a family to support. Contacting the unemployment office has been frustrating, with agents rarely answering calls and disconnections occurring frequently. When I did manage to speak with an agent, she was unhelpful and seemed unaware of the extension I mentioned.

I currently have a balance of zero dollars and am unemployed. With no job and bills to pay, managing to support my family is a challenge. I am unable to pay my full rent and struggle to afford food. I am on regular unemployment, have certified for the twenty-week claim, but my balance remains at zero. When attempting to speak with an agent, I often get disconnected. On the rare occasion I reach an agent, the assistance provided is insufficient, leaving me with no change to my zero-dollar balance. I would appreciate speaking with a Spanish-speaking agent regarding my balance and the possibility of an extension.

In December [redacted], I filed for unemployment and received two payments. However, I missed a scheduled phone meeting on January 7th, [redacted], with the reemployment center. Despite attempting to reach out by phone daily, I have not been able to get in touch with a live agent or received any callbacks. This situation is causing financial strain as I currently have no income. How can I proceed with resolving this issue and ensuring I receive the necessary assistance?

I was furloughed in March and began receiving Unemployment benefits in April [redacted]. I was then terminated in September and requested $[redacted] a month from my pension plan in October. I specified that taxes should be deducted, leaving me with $[redacted]. However, taxes have not been withheld from my payments yet. I started getting monthly pension payments in November. When I mentioned this on my Unemployment benefits certification in October, I was asked to fill out a form and provide proof of pension payments. I submitted the documents on Dec. 18th but haven't received any confirmation. Now, they've stopped my payments and are requesting that I fill out the form again. I need clarification on whether I need to resubmit the form or if it has been received. I would appreciate an email confirming receipt or notifying me to resubmit. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been receiving unemployment benefits for a year, but they suddenly stopped on November 24, [redacted]. When I try to file my weekly claim, it says it is not payable and prompts me to speak with an agent. Despite trying to reach someone for the past six weeks, I have not been able to get through. My savings are running out, and I am in a difficult position. I was told initially to wait four weeks for a resolution, but it has been six weeks now with no change. Last week, a representative assured me I would receive benefits starting the following week, but nothing has been resolved. Every time I try to file my weekly claim, I am instructed to speak to an agent, but I cannot get through. The stress is overwhelming. Please advise on how I can contact the NJ Unemployment Division to resolve this issue promptly.

Hello, I submitted a claim on March 15 (Claim ID [redacted]40) after losing my job due to COVID-19. I claimed for 4 continuous weeks until I was rehired on April 15, [redacted]. I have recently lost my full-time position and am now working a few hours weekly. I am looking to claim benefits as of January 3, [redacted]. When logging back into my account, it seems to prompt me to claim benefits starting from April 15, the week when I stopped claiming previously. I was working full time from April 15, [redacted], to January 3, [redacted], and did not claim benefits during that period. I attempted to file a new claim on January 3, [redacted]. Today, I received a letter stating I can claim benefits from the date of the initial claim on March 15, [redacted]. My next claim date is tomorrow at 8:00 am. I need to know how to skip the weeks from April 15th until now when claiming benefits. I need my claiming date to be updated to the week of January 3, [redacted]. I would appreciate it if someone could assist me before I claim tomorrow.

Help Needed with Unemployment Insurance Claim Status I filed for Unemployment Insurance but received an error stating that I had claimed to go back to work when I am still unemployed. I filed my claim on 07/05/[redacted] and attempted to file from 10/31/[redacted] to 1/12/[redacted]. The weekly benefit rate is $[redacted], with a remaining balance of $[redacted]. The next payable week is 1/9/[redacted], and the last week paid was on 10/24/[redacted] for $[redacted]. Every time I try to file, I receive a message saying "Your claim is not payable at this time." I have not been notified of any disqualification or determination. I did mention taking training twelve weeks ago, but I haven't received any payments or notifications since then. I have tried calling the Reemployment Call Center, but no one ever answers. I am at a loss on what to do next as I have received no information in the mail from NJ UI. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I was receiving benefits until December. The system shows I still have money owed to me, but when I attempted to do my weekly certification, I received an error message preventing me from processing my funds. I am a sole proprietor and an artist. I have reported some pre-Covid earnings in section 7B. When I reported a recent sale, I was initially told I would receive a call, but they instead sent a query which I completed. There were a few payments sent after that, but now I am unable to request my payments for a while due to the recurring error message. Every time I try to contact NJ for assistance, the call gets disconnected. I seek guidance on what steps to take to resolve this issue and access my pending funds. Thank you for your anticipated support. Best regards, M.

Hello, I would like to address some concerns regarding my unemployment benefits. My Claimant ID is [redacted]40, and my Date of Claim is 11-08-[redacted]. My previous employer was Dow Jones & Company, Inc. I have diligently filed for unemployment weekly since the initial claim date, but regrettably, I have yet to receive any payments. Despite my claim being escalated on Dec 20, [redacted], and receiving a Notice of Determination on Dec 31, [redacted] confirming my eligibility for benefits, no payments have been received thus far. My attempts to contact a representative via phone at [redacted] have been unsuccessful as the mailbox is full and does not allow for messages. Should the need arise to contact me, please feel free to leave a message at my mobile number, [redacted]. I kindly request assistance in ensuring the prompt delivery of my overdue unemployment benefits. Thank you, J. Leone

I filed for unemployment 2 weeks ago. When I tried to log in, the system said my password was incorrect. There seems to be a claim from 2[redacted] that has not been closed. Additionally, it stated my security question answers were incorrect. It's confusing because answers like my mother's maiden name should not change. Even if I set up this security question years ago. Now, the system says I am locked out of my account.

My Unemployment Insurance Claim Status Needs Correction I recently encountered an error in my claim status. The system indicated that I had returned to work, which is inaccurate as I am still unemployed. - Date of Claim: 07/05/[redacted] - Attempted Filing: 11/30/[redacted] - 1/12/[redacted] - Weekly Benefit Rate: $[redacted] - Remaining Balance: $[redacted] - Next Payable Week: 1/9/[redacted] - Last Week Paid: 10/24/[redacted] - Last Paid Amount: $[redacted] Over a month ago, the UI system mistakenly mentioned that I had returned to work when I hadn't. This issue arose after I agreed to training about twelve weeks ago. The training didn't involve payment, so I didn't receive any funds. Following the training period, I didn't receive any payment. I've been unable to reach anyone by phone and haven't received any payments or notifications for over three months. I am not receiving any correspondence by mail from the NJ UI. I need assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I am still dealing with an issue from April. My claim started on April 5th, but even though I indicated I was still working as I expected no hours, I did not receive any benefits when I stopped working on April 19th. It wasn't until May 10th that I received any payment. I was unable to certify for the weeks I was out of work. Despite my efforts to reach out through calls and messages, I have not received any assistance. Please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you.
