I want to express that Maxwell House Coffee is the best on the market for me. While I usually buy the 30.6-ounce container, I find the molded handle difficult to grip. This morning, I almost dropped it, causing the lid to open and spill coffee grounds. I believe the handle and lid design need improvement. I suggest a customer compensation like free coffee, an XL t-shirt, or a mug. Thank you. - Andy B. from Crooksville, Ohio.

Product: 48 oz ground coffee from Costco
Concern: Ineffective built-in grip
Feedback: Despite being in good health at 70 years old, I find the grip on the 48 oz. coffee container to be completely useless. I am disappointed by this design flaw and question the approval process behind it. In the future, I will choose Folgers coffee over this product due to its more functional container design, even if it means paying a bit more. I just wanted to share my experience to highlight the inadequacy of the grip on your packaging.

Hello everyone,
I am Harjot Singh from India.
I am offering the domain name helpme.coffee for sale. The proceeds from this sale will be used to fund Project Barcode. Our small team is dedicated to creating an educational platform to teach children in difficult situations such as ghettos and foster homes about basic coding and A.I. using graphs.
I have been enjoying your coffee for a long time, and I feel it's time to give back to underprivileged children in India, especially those facing challenges like dyslexia and anxiety.
I apologize if my words seem impolite; I simply want to make a difference in a time where support for young children in India is lacking.
Thank you for your consideration.
Best regards,
Harry Singh

I recently purchased a 30.65oz can of Maxwell House Wake Up Roast from Walgreens. Upon opening, I noticed there was no aroma, and the brewed coffee tasted very bitter. This was disappointing as I have always enjoyed Maxwell House coffee. Additionally, I observed that the product was close to its expiration date, approximately 6 weeks from the purchase date. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, I am unable to return the product to the store. I kindly request a refund of $5.99 or a voucher for a replacement can of coffee. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

I have been using your excellent filter packs since the 1990s. Recently, I bought four packages and upon opening the first one, I noticed that all the packs were torn open, which was quite disappointing. I also observed that the quality of the filter packs from the previous batches I used was noticeably lower. I am concerned that the remaining three packages from that order might also be damaged. Due to the stress caused by the current pandemic, I cannot recall if I made the purchase on Amazon or Walmart, but I do know it was an online purchase. As a long-time loyal customer, I would be grateful if you could provide a replacement for these damaged products. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

I bought four (4) 30.6 oz Maxwell House Original Roast - Medium containers in Jan [redacted]. I used 2 which were good. However, recently I opened a new one and noticed no "fresh coffee ground" smell upon opening. The coffee had a strong unpleasant aftertaste, prompting me to discard the pot and try another, with the same bad taste. Another container had the same issue despite having good best by dates (7/31/[redacted] and 9/10/[redacted]). The other 2 containers I used previously were fine. This experience is disappointing as I've never encountered this with Maxwell House coffee before. I am seeking a refund for these 2 products and worry about a potential reoccurrence if I purchase more. Thank you.

The new design of your containers is problematic because there is no grip for opening. While attempting to open the container, it slipped from my hand and the lid's edge struck my nose, causing it to bleed. It's essential to reconsider reverting to the previous canister style with a proper grip. This experience is disappointing, especially after being a loyal customer of your coffee for over two decades.

The television commercial featuring African Americans is uncomfortable for me to watch. It is the first time I have seen an ad with African Americans, and I believe it is inappropriate to use nudity to advertise coffee. The image of two men in the shower also strikes me as odd. In the past, Caucasians have never been portrayed in a suggestive manner in advertisements, so I question why this ad chose to do so with African Americans. In my view, it was a regrettable decision. On a positive note, I do enjoy the coffee itself.

I have been purchasing Maxwell House in plastic containers for years. In the past, the containers had a handle, then changed to finger grips, which were alright. However, the latest design lacks a grippable surface and makes it easier to drop. This design change seems to prioritize cost-cutting over usability. It's frustrating, and I think the switch may lead to more spilled coffee. I would like to acknowledge the product designers for creating such an impractical feature. I am a loyal fan of Maxwell House Coffee, and it's the only brand I purchase for my home. The slogan "Good to the last drop" has always resonated with me. Recently, in March, I bought a case of the original blend 48oz with 6 containers. Unfortunately, upon opening the first container, the coffee tasted terrible and left a bitter flavor. I tried a second container with the same disappointing results. This uncharacteristic experience has left me disappointed, as I have always enjoyed your products. I am reaching out in hopes that you can assist me. Although I can't locate my receipt, I am willing to provide photos of the containers. Due to the undrinkable quality of the coffee, I would appreciate if you could consider sending me a replacement case of the same size containers. I truly hope this was an isolated incident and that I can continue enjoying Maxwell House Coffee as I always have in the past.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am reaching out about your cappuccinos, as my elderly grandmother is a huge fan of your product. Unfortunately, due to her age and the need to shield during COVID-19, she has been unable to purchase her weekly 20 boxes.
I am inquiring if there is a way for you to assist by sending her a crate full of cappuccino boxes. She is a compassionate woman who always prioritizes helping others and deserves some kindness in return.
Given her disability and inability to go out alone, none of her family members have been successful in purchasing the cappuccinos for her. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for considering this request.
Sincerely,
Joshua Brown

I have been a loyal customer of Maxwell House coffee for over 50 years. My wife and I used to love the plastic container with the built-in molded handle. However, we are disappointed that the handle has been made smaller. As we are getting older, we now struggle to lift the can with the new smaller handle.
Sincerely,

I recently bought two jars of Maxwell House coffee that disappointed me. The first jar was filled to the brim but had coffee on the outside rim, looking black. After making a cup, I noticed a strange taste, almost like syrup. The second jar had the same issue, so I didn't consume it. Hello, I have been a Maxwell House Coffee fan since [redacted]. My father used to make it on the stove at 4:00 am, and the smell was amazing. I've been loyal to Maxwell House for years, but due to health reasons, I have to switch to decaf. I have been using Folgers decaf because I can't find Maxwell House decaf at Walmart or Sam’s Club. I prefer Maxwell House over Folgers and like the plastic containers over bags, pods, or freeze-dried options. Due to limited mobility, I don't visit many stores and don't order online often. If necessary, I will order from Maxwell House directly.

I am disappointed that I can no longer find my favorite Intense Bold coffee in the Conway, South Carolina area. For the past four years, I've had to travel 11 miles to Myrtle Beach to buy it. The Kroger store in the Carolina Forest Shopping Center used to carry it, but it's no longer available there. I tried the Smooth Bold, but it doesn't compare to the Intense Bold roast. How can I find this coffee closer to home without spending extra on gas? Thank you for your attention to this matter. Mornings won't be the same without it.

Hello,
I have been enjoying Maxwell House Morning Blend using my Tassimo machine. Typically, I purchase 12 boxes monthly. The coffee is delightful. However, the recent purchase I made at Walmart Mcphillips in Winnipeg at the start of November has presented some issues. Each box from this batch contained 2-3 pods that were not Morning Blend but seemed to be mocha. These pods were only half full with froth at the top, indicating a different flavor. I am down to my final box for this month and would appreciate some form of compensation for the unusable pods. I am not a fan of frothy coffee and hope for a resolution from your end. Thank you for addressing this matter.
Best,
Darryl
