I went to the store to exchange a birthday present my mother gave me, but I didn't have a receipt. They could only provide me with a merchandise card. I had an upsetting experience at Maurices in New Philadelphia, Ohio, at the New Town Mall on May 30. My daughter and I felt mistreated by an associate when my daughter showed her a coupon on her phone without getting close. The associate's response was excessive, causing her to knock over a mannequin and almost fall. This behavior made us feel like outcasts, beyond what is expected in a pandemic. We have been loyal customers at Maurices for a long time, but this incident has made us reluctant to return. We will share our experience to prevent others from facing similar treatment. Today, I visited Maurices in Blue Springs, MO for a return I bought last Friday. Upon arrival, I learned that I needed to empty the bag and hold up the items for the return, which I found unsettling. I suggested using gloves, yet the manager, with short blonde hair, was unhelpful and impolite. She threw my items into the bin hastily, which was disrespectful. This behavior is unacceptable – customers should be treated with respect. I will prioritize my safety in this situation and limit my contact with store items. Despite this unpleasant experience, I will not let it deter me; I will no longer patronize Maurices due to her unprofessional behavior. If I encounter her again, I will avoid her.

I want to praise the chat associate who helped me on Saturday; he was extremely polite and helpful. I recently bought a pair of jeans and after wearing them once, the belt loop tore. When I put them on to run errands on Saturday, my husband pointed out a tear in the front. Later that day, I discovered a rip in the butt area as well. Feeling upset, I contacted customer service via chat because the jeans were only two weeks old and falling apart already. I emailed customer service with pictures as suggested, but no one bothered to respond or apologize, which disappoints me. While I am expecting a refund, I believe a response or apology would have been appropriate. Maybe a coupon for another pair of jeans could have been offered. During my visit to your store in Grand Forks, ND today, I encountered a salesperson who was quite impolite. I have personal and religious reasons for not wearing a mask and, as per the rules in Grand Forks and North Dakota, masks are not required. However, the employee insisted that I wear a mask to facilitate a return or leave the store. This action goes against my civil rights as outlined in the Civil Rights Act of [redacted], which allows individuals to choose whether or not to wear a mask based on their religion. I believe that the enforcement of mask mandates is a violation of our civil liberties and religious freedom. It seems to me that some entities are using safety measures like mask-wearing and social distancing for political motives rather than genuine concern for public health. This trend worries me as it appears to be a step towards a more controlling government system. Unfortunately, I will be returning my unworn purchases and ceasing my patronage at Maurice's due to what I perceive as a shared political agenda with leftist groups. I placed an order with Maurice's on Nov 5, Order #OMAW[redacted]21. I contacted Customer Service on Nov 15 because I couldn't track my order. The representative I spoke to was kind and helpful. They mentioned the item would be ready on Nov 16, but I didn't receive an email notification. On Nov 17, I called again and spoke to David, who was unhelpful and rude. He said the item was still being prepared to ship and refused to cancel it. I'm confused and frustrated about the status of my order.

I am concerned about my recent order that is marked as delivered, but I have not received it. A Maurices store in NM contacted me to inform that another customer mistakenly received my order, and they have returned it to warehouse store #[redacted]. I am requesting a refund for this order, as I never received the items. I have been waiting on hold with your customer service team for several hours today, attempting to resolve this issue, which has been very frustrating.

I received my bill for $[redacted].33 and sent the full amount on 11-3-20. My payment was due on 11-21-20. Unfortunately, there seems to have been a delay either in the mail or at your office, as it wasn't credited until 11/24/20. Subsequently, I was charged a $29.00 late fee, which is unreasonable since I have always been prompt with my payments. I will transition to making online payments, even though I have reservations about sharing my banking details online. I don't anticipate any action from your end, but I wanted to express my disappointment.

I purchased a Christmas shirt on November 22nd, and it took more than 3 weeks to arrive at my home. Similarly, my daughter ordered the same shirt on the same day and experienced a similar delay. She was given a $10 gift card, but I did not receive one. I would appreciate it if I could also receive a gift card for the inconvenience. I purchased Christmas shirts for my daughter and me at our local Maurices on November 22. We had to wait over 3 weeks to receive them, which made us worried they got lost in the mail. During our recent visit to the Dunkirk, NY Maurice's store, my daughter and I had a positive experience with the friendly and patient sales staff. However, I encountered an issue with a $75.00 off $[redacted] coupon. Despite spending nearly $[redacted].00 between us, the discount wasn't reflected on the receipt as expected. While I noticed the buy one get half off discounts, the $75.00 off was missing. It occurred to me that it would have been more suitable for the salespeople to suggest splitting the purchase, allowing each of us to use the coupon. This oversight led to us both having to utilize our Maurice's credit cards. Rectifying this by crediting the coupon amount to our respective cards would be greatly appreciated. I simply desire to benefit from the savings intended by the coupon without incurring additional expenses. Thank you.

The staff at the Liberty, MO store in Missouri lack attentiveness and are often too busy whispering and chatting with each other to assist customers effectively. Specifically, when I informed an associate of what I was looking for, she briefly mentioned the special offer of the day and left without ensuring I found what I needed. I was not offered alternative sizes or checked on in the fitting rooms, ultimately leaving the store empty-handed despite my willingness to spend a significant amount. It appears to be a common problem at this location, with staff more interested in gossiping than providing assistance to customers. This recurring issue is frustrating, especially when shopping alone.

Today, on 12/08/[redacted], I returned a pair of jeans I bought for a Christmas gift. Upon checking the receipt, I noticed that I was charged $59.90 for the pants, but the price tag showed $54.90.
As the store didn't have the correct size, I opted for a refund. The staff member offered to order the pants to be delivered to the store. However, during the process, it was discovered that the pants could only be shipped to my home address. I provided my correct name, Mona Parks, and complete address with the correct unit number.
Despite the attempt to correct the details in the system, there was an issue, and the manager had to intervene. I was assured she would follow up once the corrections were made. The manager explained that the price discrepancy was due to new management and pricing changes. Unfortunately, the incorrect price-tagged pants were placed back on the sales rack.
After these service issues and pricing discrepancies, I have decided to cancel my order. The store manager left a voicemail instructing me to update the delivery person with my accurate address upon the arrival of the pants.
