I recently had an experience with tech support where I interacted with a charming representative named Daniel Reddington. This led to the purchase of computer protection and an attempt to sell me a non-existent anti-keylogging protection. Due to my limited computer knowledge and trust in the company, my computer was accessed leading to a security breach resulting in banking issues. Another individual named Brian at [redacted] was also involved. When I raised my concerns with Daniel, he initially praised Magellan but fell silent when I mentioned the [redacted] number. I believe my loss of approximately $[redacted] includes money spent with your IT department. I urge your company to investigate this matter thoroughly. I have a Magellan RoadMate 5230T-LM. The windshield mount that holds the GPS has cracked twice despite attempts to glue it. I am disappointed as I love the GPS but find the mount too fragile. I believe it should have a longer lifespan. I am hopeful that this issue can be resolved, and I would appreciate a replacement mount that is of the same or better quality. Thank you!

I'm attempting to log in from my cell phone to watch a few documentaries. Unfortunately, my login password is not being accepted, and I've been experiencing this issue for several days now. I've resorted to creating new accounts, which may have been a mistake. I've attempted to create a new account three times now, and it seems quite chaotic. Although I thought I successfully finished the account creation process last night, I still can't log in. I would appreciate assistance in setting up an account and password to access the service. In early January [redacted], prior to the lockdown, I traveled from Texarkana, Texas, to Shreveport, Louisiana, without any issues using my Magellan Maestro [redacted]. Upon returning to my car and starting a new trip back home, I noticed the GPS was not accurately showing my location. Despite resetting and restarting the GPS, the issue persisted until I was close to my home. Subsequent trips also resulted in inaccurate directions. I faced difficulties contacting customer service due to a lost password and changing email providers. I have been a loyal Magellan user since [redacted], purchasing multiple units for myself and my daughters. Despite my frustration, I hope to resolve the GPS issues and regain trust in the company's customer service for future support.

I recently updated my unit, and initially, the process seemed successful as the updates displayed on the screen. However, after a few minutes of operating correctly, it suddenly shut off. A message appeared prompting me to complete the setup by following on-screen instructions. Despite resetting and reconnecting, the device only functioned for about 3 minutes. I was in the middle of entering an address when the screen went black. The unit was fully charged and connected to the original power source. I attempted to restart it by pressing the power button for 30 seconds, but it remains unresponsive.

I was seeking an update for my Maestro unit online, and after being directed to a technician by the chat bot, I received a call. The technician claimed my computer had Trojan horse viruses and needed to install a program to remove them. This program was installed at a cost, but now my computer has crashed six days later.
